My wife and I bought our Winnebago coach during 2006, the service and experience is second to none. We had four RVs prior to Lichtsinn Winnebago. The Lichtsinn RV family commit to exceed the customer’s expectations. We even drive hundreds of miles for the service experience they provide. Nice job on this video.
thank you for mentioning stuff like how they have the floor mats.. and the price was fair...(plus the extended warranty info, the $100 airport pickup for a 2 hour drive).. i LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!
I would like to say Thank you for doing this video. My wife and I are considering a Winnebago View. We also have been looking at all the Rv dealers and researching them. We have just about decided to go to Lichtsinn Rv for pretty much all the same reasons as you have stated. We are going to wait a year or two until the mess of the virus is over. But your video is invaluable resource. We will be going to Lichtsinn Rv for sure. Thank you again.
Glad it was helpful! We spent months researching and felt like Lichtsinn was our best option. I'm sure there are other great dealerships, I just liked the peace of mind of being so close to the factory if there was a major issue. You guys will love the View- we checked them out also, very roomy and much fancier than the Revel!
Thank you for the video. Currently waiting for our Minnie Winnie from Lichtsinn . I feel a lot better knowing that we will be taken cared of. Thank you!!
Thanks for watching and the feedback! I think you can't go wrong with Litchtsinn, only downside is you do need to fly there and the potentially long drive home. The ability to have anything fixed onsite or at the Winnebago factory are a huge positive in my opinion.
I used National RV Centers, you get the RV with a 1k+ miles on it because it is driven to their lot. I am fine with that because I would have done the same drive. This gives the dealership the opportunity to fix any problems. The also required 5k down with same price essentially, though a little less. The 5k is refundable! Everything else is identical. FYI, They use parts from Owl Vans and Agile, if upgrading. Safe RV’ing, hope to see you on the road.
I'm glad you had a good experience. They were not very responsive to us. I figured if they weren't responsive when we were trying to give them money, they probably wouldn't be after the sale. We bought locally in Colorado. I'm glad we did. Our Travato has been in the shop several time for warranty repairs. I wouldn't care to drive all that way to Lichtsinn for warranty work.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience and so many issues with your vehicle. The Winnebago warranty is honored at any W dealership, you do not need to return it where you purchased it for repairs.
Excellent. Glad you both put this vid together. It pretty much echos my experience-right down to many of the accessories you purchased. I flew out from Florida on the 15th. Exhausting. Signed my paperwork. Had a bit to eat at Shooters. And stayed at the Cobblestone. BTW, I think the food store is called HyBee. Anyway, all went well. The weather was non-stop snow my entire visit, and SO beautiful. I left there on the 19th, and drove all the way back to Florida at a leisurely pace. Got home that Friday, the 22nd. Really enjoyed the drive back. I didn't have as much time, or opportunity, to test the rig before I left, as you both did. But so far, knock on wood, everything seems to be working. So, maybe I lucked-out with a good one! Thanks again for your videos. And for your correspondence with me beforehand, before I made my purchase, with the myriad questions I had about the extended service contract etc. You guys rock.

A hard-walled narrow shower space in the middle of the van is not optimal in a short wheelbase Sprinter for an average or large person. First time I saw a revel in person or drove it was at the dealership. I did a ton of research and just felt like it was going to be the one for me. Wow you got an Amazing Price at $133,000 for your Revel. Does it have the LITHIUM PACKAGE? Because I called Lichsenn RV about my TRAVATO and told her I was looking at a 2021 Travato KL National Park Edition for $131,000 and the woman said its a great deal and go with that price at the other dealer, she told me the start price of Travatos on order is $130,000. Everything I've read tells me the extended warranty is a profit machine for the dealer. If you are remotely handy you can tackle the plumbing and electrical issues that may come up.
I’m looking to buy from them, did you finance thru them and was it a good percentage rate? What loan term do they suggest 5, 10, 20 years? I’m thinking about the 10 year loan term.
Their finance dept worked with a few lenders to get me quotes, ended up with a BOA loan and it was at a good rate (at that time) You can finance for up to 20 years.
RV Industry is like that- the retail price is not what you will pay. That's why you see crazy "deals" at RV shows- big discounts off retail. Basically you can get up to 30% off some manufacturers suggested price, depending on the dealership. Since Covid has blown up RV sales those discounts are getting much smaller as dealers are enjoying the strong supply and demand situation they are currently in.
We babied it for the first 300 miles or so, took backroads and varied speed constantly. From 300 to 1000 we would avoid cruise control, vary the load and pull off the freeway about every 45 mins and let it idle for a bit. Can't think of a better way to break one in. Beats having a delivery driver just get on the freeway and put 2k on it at 80mph!
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED it is quite a problem on all the forums. You even mention the 2 month delay at your local dealer. I guarantee if you bought it at your dealer, you could pull strings to get it serviced immediately!
Please feel free to share single post showing it's a problem. We've been down this road before Jay, you cannot provide any evidence to backup your BS claims. All dealers are backed up with the hot RV market right now, Warranty work is a priority and a call to Forest City reporting that kind of thing would not end well for the dealership. Unless you have anything to backup your statement please refrain from making false claims.
@@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED it only makes sense business wise. RV technicians are in short supply. RVs are not like cars that can be serviced at any dealer with no questions asked. It all depends on each dealer. You can report back to us when it is time for service on your Revel. I hope I am wrong and your dealer pulls through for you! I noticed there are others on this comment section that are telling you the same thing about poor service of local dealers.
You might want to re-read the comments about poor service- folks are saying when they picked up the Revel from their local dealer they didn't know anything about the revel and spent little time with them. Had nothing to do with maintenance or repair work. Gives you a lot of confidence for when it's time to get it worked on there! The guys at Lichtsinn move more Winnebagos than any other dealer and that spills over into excellent orientation and service.
We got lucky and found one in stock last month at Campers Inn (Atlanta). Flew from west coast, zero customer service ... no ride from airport (spent a small fortune to Uber to the dealership) and they sped through the hand over. Rep didn't know much about the Revel. Already had almost 2k miles from delivery & only after getting on the road discovered 2 wheels were out of round. But still, so worth it, it's been so much fun and happy we got one without waiting. I also wanted to say thanks for the video you posted linking to the items you've purchased for it. It made outfitting out a breeze!
@SadieSteele1 I have heard of others mention wheels out of round. I haven't picked up my Revel yet but I was wondering how do you know they were out of round? Can you described what you felt/heard to determine that? I want to be prepared! Thank you
@@jasminewevers4589 there was a terrible vibration at 50 mph and above. In hindsight it was a mistake to not test drive and thoroughly check the systems before leaving Atlanta. We took it to a tire shop a few hundred miles into the trip & they put the tires on a Roadforce balancer which confirmed two tires (passenger front & rear) were badly out of round. You could even see it as they were spinning. Unfortunately, BFG did not honor the warranty and we had to pay out of pocket (maybe because they already had over 1k miles from delivery). The tire shop said they see this problem all the time on those vans. I highly recommend test driving it and if there's any vibration make the dealership replace them before you sign. Some tire shops might try and work something out with BFG, depending on how badly out of round they are (the tires cost about $250 each) but I wouldn't count on it. Lichstinn's hand off sounds dreamy compared to what we experienced.

Incorrect- Dealers get direct payment from the big W for warranty work and are happy to take in the work. Quit spreading that BS.
Glad you were able to find one and make it work- these are great rigs and I hope you get a lot of use out yours!!
@@SadieSteele1 Thank you. I will make sure I road test mine at high speeds to make sure all is ok. Sorry you had to deal with that.
$133k is that still possible
Sadly no. The best deals I'm seeing are $156,000 right now for new ones.
Pls louder your audio thanks
Thanks for the video. Our 2020 was just totaled, after a texter plowed into us during a cross-country trip. We’re in Colorado and bought our ‘20 local. What’s your advice for getting the same kinda price you did? Tom @tbmcd3 on Instagram.
I'm so sorry to hear about your rig getting totaled, that absolutely sucks. The prices have gone up considerably since our October purchase- it sounds like anything below 147 is a good deal these days. Are you a member of the "Winnebago Revel 4x4" page on Facebook? People occasionally share good deals on there..
Thanks for your response, and yes on FB Revel group.
