Prasenjit Basu is holding the mic like a gun, always ready to fight.
All the panelists made excellent points. We have to move away from history propagated by Congress and Britishers.

What I hate in all non-Left seminars, we take larger subjects n wish to finish in 1hour, mistake of Organisers.
On each issue, We need to week long workshops with experts on relevant subject presenting their findings followed by panel discussion and Questions.

    Great great discussion!!
It's incredible, how the energy of the Indian freedom struggle; was modulated to transmit a narrative that would ensure that the people who were near the center of power would be able to cling it, generation after generation!!
Kishwar Desai..blowing the punjab trumpt was really unrefined!!

The time limit of the show is less, whenever you want to have debate on such big issues, then please conduct the show from the viewpoint of the yougsters who want to have conclusive and good debate and that can only be possible once the each debator gets enough time to express their complete view.
So kindly Extend the Timing otherwise this is just the going to be the same as we have inconclusive debates.
    Its my humble request.

It’s amazing to listen to all these stories. However the contributions of freedom fighters from across the country need to compiled and told. That way people from all states will understand how their native state contributed to the cause of freedom. It is important to remember the contributions of every freedom fighter to the common cause without emphasizing on any one particular state, but rather understanding the contributions of all despite the internal differences.

Excellent panel .. loved the way the 3 gents opened and destroyed the notion that the freedom struggle started with MK gandhi

I thought I would love most to listen Sanjeev sanyal sir but it was terrific prasenjit Basu who nailed the show.each of them including ofcource hindol sengupta were extremely enlightening and insightful.
Subhas Chandra Bose is undoubtedly greatest national leader of modern India... though I will not believe Nehru was traitor until robust and Cristal clear truth comes out.interpretation can be done to prove anything.

🙏🙏🙏🙏Saradhindu Mukherjee - people like him are such bold speakers... despite difficulty in articulating fully their thoughts... they manage to drive home the point...awesome. It is a great amazement that we have people like ConraadElst and Swami DavidFrawley fighting for the cause of Bharat... they must have been some indian freedom fighters in their previous janma...
From the collaborators katha that we now hear... Sir EdwinLutyens did a good job of creating a city for such total antinationals... the same blood continues to ruin...

Formally rewriting history and making the masses aware of it is definitely going to take time... can we not team up with publications like AMAR CHITRA KATHA and spread true stories to children.

Fascinating revelations about the many facets of India's freedom struggle against the British. As most panelists said or alluded to, indeed India's freedom struggle as per crony historians of Congress, was thanks to only two people - Mohandas Gandhi and his protege Jawaharlal Nehru. Some panelists narrated shocking duplicity of these leaders, and how they were actually collaborators of the British, and were always appeased by the British as quid pro quo for their 'services'. The discussion also explains why India never setup s "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" that many countries did after they got free from colonial rule, to rewrite their history from their own perspective, not that of their colonizers or their cronies. It's high time India setup a high-level commission to review and rewrite our history books and teach newer generations about the struggles of scores of patriotic nationalists, revolutionaries, and such whose efforts actually made the British leave India, not what BS the crony historians of Congress party have dishes out over the decades. Only then will we overcome the deep-rooted colonial hangover and the tendency to mock native Indian values and eulogize the West and seek approval of the 'white man', so to speak.

So what, it's not about RSS or Modi govt or BJP.
Full history needs to be told.how can we really forget such a tremendous contributions of greatest heroes like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and just believe one single monochromatic story of how Gandhiji by using nonviolence and charkha got India her freedom....we don't need to malign congress, Gandhiji or even Nehru to uplift Netaji and other revolutionaries.

Who mobilzed people with padayatra? Who designed Satyagraha? Who led the Salt Satyagraha? Who was the most unselfish leader? Who did not want any job in the government? Lack of irrationality is a bane of historians. I don't think Nehru was good let alone great human. He praised Stalin in the Parliament house. But Gandhi was different.

    • @VikramSingh-vg7gv
      @VikramSingh-vg7gv 4 ปีที่แล้ว

No one is undermining Mahatma. He has his unique place as the leader who instilled nationalism among masses and United India as a nation.gandhi was revolutionary leader, political and moral thinker, social activist who perhaps more than anyone else made India as modern India we know.
But the point is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was more instrumental in India's independence,he was extremely popular and powerful figure who was at par with Kamal pasha,Sukarno,Leon Trotsky,Che Guevara and George Washington and he and lot of other greatest indian revolutionaries must get their due in official narrative of textbook history.their name should not be written just like footnotes in end of chapters like in ncert and all.

Nataji was liberator, sardar Patel unifier,Dr Ambedkar reformer,pt Nehru the orchitect of modern India.along with Gandhiji they must be named as founding fathers of modern India like is popular in USA
