no i think it's not waterproof anymore.

Great video! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and posting. Is there a seal between the housings or is the glue the sealer? I wish GoPro would stay with one kind of screw.............. They got away from using Torx style screws on the 3+'s and 4's. It look like they are back at it on the 5's.

I think lcd screen damaged. You should replace the new lcd screen.

I have a problem with gopro hero black7, i.e. I don't want to charge with a usb cable. after connecting the cable to the charger, the LEDs turn red, but the battery is not charging (the battery is functional because the external charger is charging normally). I can download the data from the camera with a USB cable connected to the computer normally. do you know what may be damaged?
I think USB cable or USB -c port damaged.

Thanks for sharing this video. I have a problem with mi goPro hero 5, i incorrectly inserted the SD card into the card slot, I placed it between the motherboard and the slot. After that the screen no longer works, what do you suggest me to do?
Did you check the position? Correct screw holes? And connect

Recién veo este Video....Sabras que puede haber pasado con una GOPRO 5 Hero B....de un de repente apareció un ruido en cada grabación ...una vez bajado el video ... No desaparece aun 2022

No my one motherboard damaged it couldn’t fix.

E VlogTv hi there. I think you should use waterproof case. When you fix your GoPro loosing waterproof function. So you need case.

can you fix my hero5😢 very hard to open because the button is a little deep down.
Mine also got water damaged, shoot it out, put it in rice. Worked fine after 10 minutes. Only thing was the screen gliching. Next day worked fine.
