I found the most cost-effective LED silicone mask, I see the same Omnilux/CurrentBody LED mask on Alibaba, it only costs $86 per pcs. The price is very nice and the quality of the product is also very good.
I bought a NuFace Trinity based on these videos, and I was actually really pleased with the results...while the device was working! I wanted to warn others who may read this comment that the device completely quit working after 18 months. For $450 I would expect a device to last longer than 18 months! Unfortunately, I'm now seeing more reviews of this product with similar issues. I especially liked the eye attachment, which seemed to noticeably lift my brows & lids. I would love to find another similar device that could provide the same results, but I will NEVER spend another dime on a NuFace product!
My experience exactly! For the amount of money it costs, the company does not stand behind their product. I paid a ton of money for a refurbished replacementThe replacement stopped working after a few months. I have now purchased the myolift mini and am hoping for a much longer lasting device!

The NuFace primarily tones the facial muscles which reduce sagging, like doing facial exercises. The LED mask boosts collagen more than the NuFace. I would like to use both but due to financial constraints I must wait.
I have both gadgets - would definately recommend the LED mask over NuFace. I have seen amazing results on my crepey neck skin with the mask - I have the Currentbody face mask and I just lay it flat on my neck and chest

You are right about the research behind the micro current vs red led light. Just watch a video “Dortorly” which are two dermatologists and one of them was saying that there is no research for the micro current devices (it does not mean they are not good) but there is research behind led red light, that proves that it works.
I started using Omnilux about 8 weeks ago and I love it! I also have hooded lids, so the dilemma was real. I just couldn't see myself being as committed to the NuFace just for temporary results, and being in Canada these devices are spendy! So informative! I'm going to get an LED mask based on this recommendation. FYI for those asking about using it with Tretinoin, the only issue is to not use them at the same time. I would either use it on a different day or different time of day. Dr. Dray specifically addresses this question in one of her vlogs.

I’m glad I bought my Omnilux when I did! Thanks Angie for your analysis! I have been using it for almost 2 months now and I’ll wait another month or so before doing an “after” comparison but I do notice my skin is more supple immediately after doing my 10 minute treatment. I also put Collagen powder in my smoothies several times a week. I am pleased with my skin now and credit collagen powder, led lights, and Argan oil.
Everybody praises these collagen products. I worded some from Dr axe on praise the Lord. I hate it. Used 4 approx 6 mos n NOTTA. It tastes disgusting. What brand do u use???
Hei Angie 😘 I have the trinity (thx to you, 😘😘, you made me buy it) with the uv head. It broke down 3 times in a year or so. I noticed that it broke down from the replacement of the heads. Since the last time that I replaced my Nuface, I haven't replaced the heads anymore and it hasn't broken since. 😘😘 The Nuface is worth it. Love your work! And you!😁
Excellent review as always Angie. I personally started off with the Ecoface after your initial review and love it..however, I decided to order the Omnilux again after your review. One of the reasons is that I noticed with the eco face the I was getting better results on my forehead because of the unit sitting on my forehead (I did not put the provided pads for support). I've been using it for 7 months now and I definitely see that my forehead, 11's are better and eye area..but no improvements anything below that. That is the reason I am extremely hopeful with the Omnilux because it sits much closer to all areas. I still have not received my Omnilux (as others have mentioned because its b/o) but I did receive the neck one. too soon to tell but I believe I am seeing improvements in the texture of my skin (I am 57). Aging requires lots of work but with you on our side, its much easier! thanks Angie!!
Why would anyone give her videos a thumbs down!!!? Got the echo face and use it 3x per week. I found a great way to get 20 minutes to relax. I never purchased a NuFace because I know myself and I would only use it when it was new and then it would get old and feel tedious. I use echo face with the IsnTree green tea fresh toner and grab a cat nap. 😘😘😘
@Rhonda Pelletier I was worried about my eye health too. My currentbody mask that I bought a few weeks ago came with black soft safety-pads to stick inside the eye-holes (they render the eyes and because iz is similar to silicone it really adapts to the shape around the eye). I really appreciate it. you can still read, watch tv etc and not getting direct led into your eyes. It was not mentioned on the website and I do not find pictures online, but they were inside my package. It is not as comfortable as without them and the mask is in some spaces a tiny little bit further away from the skin (I gently press it a little closer with one hand while using it), but I definitively already got results with it! As soon as it is not clear if eye damage is possible, I would always recommend to wear goggles (on the internet there are smaller and soft ones available, only ask if those are good for keeping away led). They already took off the market the neutrogena mask because of such concerns. Maybe there won't be damage to the eye, but if it will come out that it does harm you will have saved your eyes from damage. I would always choose looking a little more wrinkly and uneven before having visual problems because of that. Eye health definitively comes first!
I like the Nuface Trinity. I haven’t tried the omnilux face mask yet due to finances. The Nuface makes a big difference for me, especially around the mouth and at my neck & jawline. I use the red light attachment and I’m seeing reduction of lines around my lips and mouth, and lightening of a big dark spot on one cheek from sun exposure. Thanks for all that you do!
I have both of these devices so I appreciate your discussion of which one is good for what issues. I have not had my LED mask very long, but I have also noticed a reduction in the redness in my face. I look forward to seeing the results after using it consistently for a longer length of time.

Been using NuFacee for a couple years. Love it & will keep using. I also have been using the OmniLuxe & will continue that, as well. I do notice redness has diminished & the few brown spots I had. I have used both technologies for years. This is a fantastic review of both. I really like how Angie gives more detail about uses and about factors to consider for purchase. I would have appreciated watching this back in the day when I decided to buy my gadgets. However, I do love both and I use both - likely always will. I have a quasar, hand held red light gadget and now I am considering the face mask. I can't stand the smell of silicone though....so I wonder about that. I´ve bought the Chom Chom LED mask and the NuFace, but the NuFace haven't arrived yet. Looking forward to trying it and hope it arrives soon. Have used the LED mask 5 concecutive days now and can't see any difference yet, but I´m giving it some time and haven't given up - it's just 5 days. I got the nuface at Nordstrom for Mother’s Day at around 300+++. With allllll the bells and whistles. I don’t mind going part by part on my face and neck. I love it.
I see so many people say they are saving for these items. What I do is get paid to do reviews for ProductTube. It's only between $5-$20 a review but it adds up and that is my facial device money. You can only use it for amazon gift card/credit though which is fine because most of Angie's products are on Amazon. This is not an ad or anything like that - just sharing a way I make a little extra money to buy these products! :) Most reviews you have to record yourself in the store, but you get used to after a while especially if you know you are going to get to purchase a fun facial device!

I have a Nuface that sits on my shelf because I just got tired of having to use it. I couldn’t use the little prongs on it because it started to put crazy dents in my head/eyebrow. I was pleased with the overall performance of the large ball attachment I just didn’t keep it up. I got the OmniLux mask and l.o.v.e. It!! I got the face and neck and it is the easiest skin care I have ever done!
Same here, it was just too much trouble for me with the gel and the time factor using the NuFace, and now It just sits 😕 Oh, and personally I did not notice a significant difference. I did use it for the 30+ days very regularly, then cut it back to several times a week, and after that I just kind of gave up on it.
@@CH-vm6cq For the Nuface, there was a difference but it faded quickly if you weren’t doing the maintenance with it. For me, it was a lot of work for only small payout. The OmniLux I have only been using about a month but my skin is already starting to improve. My chest looks much better already. Because it is basically a passive treatment, I don’t feel like it is any work at all. You can just strap it on and do your thing.
The gel in your microcurrent device is what gives you the plumping results. Read the label on the gel. Apply the gel only & then look in the mirror 20 minutes later

Why the Nuface works is the highly concentrated Hyaluronic gel that is used for conductivity. You can get a similar result by massaging in just the gel. Go for the red light therapy.

your eyes remind me of mine, in shape, to a degree (though yours are so much more pretty and youthful); you call them hooded, but I think it looks more like hooded heavier brown bone...in either case, I've been using the nuface for only a few days, am newly 58, and with or even without the ELE attachment, have found remarkable lift in that area.... I am now taking advantage of generous extended holiday returns to experiment with the LED masks, and the less expensive ones seems to leave marks impressed into my skin around nose brideg and eyes so I may have to splurge on the omnilux or currentbody flexible variety. I purchased a NuFace Mini from a bidding site and snagged it around $50. Question is, without the interchangeable heads of the (Trinity?), can I use it the same way on my eyelids. I have been hesitant to do so because I wasn't sure if it would damage my eyes. Thanks for the informative videos.

I love my OmniLux! After I use it on the face I put it on my head. My temples were thinning and it is growing now. I have only had it about a month or so
I do the same thing. I had noticed my hair around my temples was growing since I was using the mask. The light reaches that area as I do my face . SoI decided to put it on top of my head especially around my crown area where I am thinnning

I am using the NRGY mask from Truth Treatment Systems as a replacement for the NuFace. I like the NuFace but think the NRGY device is a little better and I also like the feel when holding it better than the NuFace. Hi Angie - just wondering if you plan to do a video about the new study on sunscreen (or more specifically, the ingredient in some sunscreens) that found certain old sunscreens can turn into a carcinogen? I think it’s a topic that could use a signal boost. For myself, I am guilty of purchasing sunscreen at the end of summer to use the following summer, and now I need to get rid of some old stuff 😧.
I used NuFace twice daily for months and no one could tell which pictures were my before or after. I didn’t think the skin texture or health changed, either. Frownies actually work much better for brow lifting.
@@lindagoleski5345 they are patches made from the old style package tape with water-activated glue. They've been around more than 100 years. Amazon has them, as do many other places. They relax the muscles and smooth the skin.
Hey hunny do frowning work for those little irritating lines we get directly above the nose connecting to the eyebrows and nose I think there 11s maybe wrong. I've heard frowning mentioned a few times.
I didn't want to spend that much money on a face mask. However, I did buy the Electronically Mask which I would love to use now. I'm confused on which conductor gel to use because that wasn't an option. My most favorite mask was the one that Linda Evans used/advertised. It was blue and hard and had conductors on the inside of the mask that gave little jolt, but that was the most relaxing at home facial ever! 🤣 Old school. It literally relaxed while stimulating the muscles of the face.
I have used the omnilux for a few months and noticed big improvement in my skin. Then I added nuface and it made my eye twitch which is going on about 2 months now (the twitching). It's now in my salvation army bag to donate.

Hi Mary, Thanks so much! I am still using my Kenzzi but I'm also testing another device to see if it gives similar results. You actually shouldn't use any IPL device if you have a tan (sunless included). They should only be used on non-tanned skin as the devices look for darker pigment and concentrate energy there so if you're tan it might be too intense and damage your skin. xo ~angie

Love your videos! I use both Nuface and Light Salon LED mask (which is same specs as Current Body), and both are effective. Angie, you should consider getting Ultherapy, which is has worked MIRACLES for lifting, it’s 10x more effective than NuFace, and semi permanent. For me, I only have to get the procedure done once a year. It’s Ultrasound based. NuFace I use as an adjunct during the year few times a week to boost the results I have with Ultherapy. My mom who is in her late 60s also swears by Ultherapy.

💞 Most of the time I don't feel anything at all. If I feel the need to "test it," I run it vertically up my forehead, and slightly into my scalp. I'll feel a slight snap when I do that, or also try lifting your eyebrows, as I feel it there too. (I do not have the attachment, but use it for eyebrows without. Good luck!

One of the reasons is that I noticed with the eco face the I was getting better results on my forehead because of the unit sitting on my forehead (I did not put the provided pads for support). I've been using it for 7 months now and I definitely see that my forehead, 11's are better and eye area..but no improvements anything below that. That is the reason I am extremely hopeful with the Omnilux because it sits much closer to all areas. I still have not received my Omnilux (as others have mentioned because its b/o) but I did receive the neck one. too soon to tell but I believe I am seeing improvements in the texture of my skin (I am 57). Aging requires lots of work but with you on our side, its much easier! thanks Angie!!
Why would anyone give her videos a thumbs down!!!? Got the echo face and use it 3x per week. I found a great way to get 20 minutes to relax. I never purchased a NuFace because I know myself and I would only use it when it was new and then it would get old and feel tedious. I use echo face with the IsnTree green tea fresh toner and grab a cat nap. 😘😘😘

I was worried about my eye health too.
My currentbody mask that I bought a few weeks ago came with black soft safety-pads to stick inside the eye-holes (they render the eyes and because iz is similar to silicone it really adapts to the shape around the eye). I really appreciate it. you can still read, watch tv etc and not getting direct led into your eyes.
It was not mentioned on the website and I do not find pictures online, but they were inside my package.
It is not as comfortable as without them and the mask is in some spaces a tiny little bit further away from the skin (I gently press it a little closer with one hand while using it), but I definitively already got results with it!
As soon as it is not clear if eye damage is possible, I would always recommend to wear goggles (on the internet there are smaller and soft ones available, only ask if those are good for keeping away led).
They already took off the market the neutrogena mask because of such concerns.
Maybe there won't be damage to the eye, but if it will come out that it does harm you will have saved your eyes from damage.
I would always choose looking a little more wrinkly and uneven before having visual problems because of that.
Eye health definitively comes first!
I like the Nuface Trinity. I haven’t tried the omnilux face mask yet due to finances. The Nuface makes a big difference for me, especially around the mouth and at my neck & jawline. I use the red light attachment and I’m seeing reduction of lines around my lips and mouth, and lightening of a big dark spot on one cheek from sun exposure. Thanks for all that you do!
I have both of these devices so I appreciate your discussion of which one is good for what issues. I have not had my LED mask very long, but I have also noticed a reduction in the redness in my face. I look forward to seeing the results after using it consistently for a longer length of time.

I have used both technologies for years. This is a fantastic review of both. I really like how Angie gives more detail about uses and about factors to consider for purchase. I would have appreciated watching this back in the day when I decided to buy my gadgets. However, I do love both and I use both - likely always will. I have a quasar, hand held red light gadget and now I am considering the face mask. I can't stand the smell of silicone though....so I wonder about that. I´ve bought the Chom Chom LED mask and the NuFace, but the NuFace haven't arrived yet. Looking forward to trying it and hope it arrives soon. I got the nuface at Nordstrom for Mother’s Day at around 300+++. With allllll the bells and whistles. I don’t mind going part by part on my face and neck. I love it.
I see so many people say they are saving for these items. What I do is get paid to do reviews for ProductTube. It's only between $5-$20 a review but it adds up and that is my facial device money. You can only use it for amazon gift card/credit though which is fine because most of Angie's products are on Amazon. This is not an ad or anything like that - just sharing a way I make a little extra money to buy these products! :) Most reviews you have to record yourself in the store, but you get used to after a while especially if you know you are going to get to purchase a fun facial device!

I have a Nuface that sits on my shelf because I just got tired of having to use it. I couldn’t use the little prongs on it because it started to put crazy dents in my head/eyebrow. I was pleased with the overall performance of the large ball attachment I just didn’t keep it up. I got the OmniLux mask and l.o.v.e. It!! I got the face and neck and it is the easiest skin care I have ever done!
Do you notice a difference?
Same here, it was just too much trouble for me with the gel and the time factor using the NuFace, and now It just sits 😕 Oh, and personally I did not notice a significant difference. I did use it for the 30+ days very regularly, then cut it back to several times a week, and after that I just kind of gave up on it.
@@CH-vm6cq For the Nuface, there was a difference but it faded quickly if you weren’t doing the maintenance with it. For me, it was a lot of work for only small payout. The OmniLux I have only been using about a month but my skin is already starting to improve. My chest looks much better already. Because it is basically a passive treatment, I don’t feel like it is any work at all. You can just strap it on and do your thing.
The gel in your microcurrent device is what gives you the plumping results. Read the label on the gel. Apply the gel only & then look in the mirror 20 minutes later

Why the Nuface works is the highly concentrated Hyaluronic gel that is used for conductivity. You can get a similar result by massaging in just the gel. Go for the red light therapy.

My reading of the LED Omnilux instructions say to have a clean face. Put treatments on after the Omnilux.

your eyes remind me of mine, in shape, to a degree (though yours are so much more pretty and youthful); you call them hooded, but I think it looks more like hooded heavier brown bone...in either case, I've been using the nuface for only a few days, am newly 58, and with or even without the ELE attachment, have found remarkable lift in that area.... I am now taking advantage of generous extended holiday returns to experiment with the LED masks, and the less expensive ones seems to leave marks impressed into my skin around nose brideg and eyes so I may have to splurge on the omnilux or currentbody flexible variety.

I purchased a NuFace Mini from a bidding site and snagged it around $50. Question is, without the interchangeable heads of the (Trinity?), can I use it the same way on my eyelids. I have been hesitant to do so because I wasn't sure if it would damage my eyes. Thanks for the informative videos.

I love my OmniLux! After I use it on the face I put it on my head. My temples were thinning and it is growing now. I have only had it about a month or so
I do the same thing. I had noticed my hair around my temples was growing since I was using the mask. The light reaches that area as I do my face . SoI decided to put it on top of my head especially around my crown area where I am thinnning

I am using the NRGY mask from Truth Treatment Systems as a replacement for the NuFace. I like the NuFace but think the NRGY device is a little better and I also like the feel when holding it better than the NuFace. Hi Angie - just wondering if you plan to do a video about the new study on sunscreen (or more specifically, the ingredient in some sunscreens) that found certain old sunscreens can turn into a carcinogen? I used NuFace twice daily for months and no one could tell which pictures were my before or after. I didn’t think the skin texture or health changed, either. Frownies actually work much better for brow lifting.

@@lindagoleski5345 they are patches made from the old style package tape with water-activated glue. They've been around more than 100 years. Amazon has them, as do many other places. They relax the muscles and smooth the skin.
Hey hunny do frowning work for those little irritating lines we get directly above the nose connecting to the eyebrows and nose I think there 11s maybe wrong. I've heard frowning mentioned a few times.

I didn't want to spend that much money on a face mask. However, I did buy the Electronically Mask which I would love to use now.
I'm confused on which conductor gel to use because that wasn't an option. My most favorite mask was the one that Linda Evans used/advertised. It was blue and hard and had conductors on the inside of the mask that gave little jolt, but that was the most relaxing at home facial ever! 🤣 Old school. It literally relaxed while stimulating the muscles of the face.
I have used the omnilux for a few months and noticed big improvement in my skin. Then I added nuface and it made my eye twitch which is going on about 2 months now (the twitching). It's now in my salvation army bag to donate.

Hi Mary, Thanks so much! I am still using my Kenzzi but I'm also testing another device to see if it gives similar results. You actually shouldn't use any IPL device if you have a tan (sunless included). They should only be used on non-tanned skin as the devices look for darker pigment and concentrate energy there so if you're tan it might be too intense and damage your skin. xo ~angie

Love your videos! I use both Nuface and Light Salon LED mask (which is same specs as Current Body), and both are effective. Angie, you should consider getting Ultherapy, which is has worked MIRACLES for lifting, it’s 10x more effective than NuFace, and semi permanent. For me, I only have to get the procedure done once a year. It’s Ultrasound based. NuFace I use as an adjunct during the year few times a week to boost the results I have with Ultherapy. My mom who is in her late 60s also swears by Ultherapy.

I have both nuface and led mask. Do you feel anything while using your nuface? I don’t feel anything at all so I don’t know if it’s working. Angie mentioned she feels a twich in her facial muscles but I don’t and I have it on the highest strength x
💞 Most of the time I don't feel anything at all. If I feel the need to "test it," I run it vertically up my forehead, and slightly into my scalp. I'll feel a slight snap when I do that, or also try lifting your eyebrows, as I feel it there too. (I do not have the attachment, but use it for eyebrows without.
