I recently upgraded from the 2019 5th Gen iPad Mini to the 7th. It’s the size that works for me - anything bigger would probably spend its life in a drawer - and really complements my Product Red iPhone 13 Mini. Thanks for the content.
Hi Ryan! Really nice video! Do you think that the older model (the one lounched in 2021 - gen 6) would work with video editing the same way?? I really like your minimal tools and I am starting creating vlogs for youtube. Thanks!
Watching this on a mini 7 which was an upgrade from a mini 4. Whilst there is no excuse for not having an oled screen, I just thought of something. Remember the issues people had with the A17 pro chip being in the 15 pro body with regards to over heating? Apple may have tried to put an M chip in the mini and encountered the same issue. The A17 pro chip being may have been a better choice for heat dissipation and they may have left the M chips to work in the larger iPads for that very reason.
I would be really interested to know your workflow with tablet. How you manage video files, transfer, edit etc. Especially because of the limited harddrive space Been really interested to get tablet for this kind of work. I have powerfull laptop but i hate carrying it around 😅
Liked the video and subscribed! Man oh Man I have the iPad Pro just before M1, 12Z something, and I wanted to treat myself with an iPad Pro M4... or the new mini. I ended up buying this Black Friday an M2 iPad Pro 1T for 1,099 and as you said my current Apple Pencil is just fine, I didn't want to buy another keyboard and Apple Pencil pro...
The pricepoint breaks it for me kinda. Yes size is super practical but it feels weird saving 100 bucks but not getting an m2 air. It actually doesn’t really make sence spec wise, only if the size is the most important thing. Apple is failing again to meet demant. People would pay the same price as the ipad air if it had an m chip
No, I thought the same thing when trading my M1 Pro. I was thinking, it’s such a beautiful iPad still and more powerful / better screen ect. But since having the iPad mini I use it way more.
Wym limited ? What pro apps does the playstore have that are specifically designed for tablets ? Fl studio mobile sucks compared to logic pro on the ipad

The only thing I wanted to come to the Mini 7 from the Pro line up was the full external display support. It would be the best well rounded device.
THANK YOU - been looking for a content creation vid on the mini for ages
Liking the min travel approach. Bezels are practical especially for holding with 1 hand.

What about recording video on the iPad mini? What’s the quality like?

Interesting good theory. Thanks for the comment

I also have a12z from 2020, but the Face ID is broken, should I upgrade to m4 iPad Pro or mini 7?????
@ in my case I went with the pro just because of external monitor support

Is It mad to change my iPad Pro m2 for this one due to portability

Well made and good performance, but iPad os is limited compared to my Samsung tablets.
Thanks for the comment. Interesting! I have to admit, I’ve never had anything other than iOS
Depends on what you are doing…. Mass media and music production not a good experience for me on the android platform
