Hi friends--
The news we share today is both EXCITING and TERRIFYING! The time is coming for Sully (our son) to receive the transplant that will change his life. This past week was full of hard news, big decisions and lots of prayer. It was a long week to say the least.
BUT--we are at peace with this, and trust that God has held Sully's story from day one, and will continue to as we head into this season of unknowns.
Thank you for taking the time to pray for us, support our family, and share our story. Every one of you has impacted our family in tremendous ways, and we can't wait to share that with Sully when he is older.
Transplant here we come!!
Love is more than words,
The Ransome Fam

I hope this story is an encouragement to you, as you consider your sweet boy going through major surgery. Thirteen years ago, my husband was a living donor for his dad, a type 1 diabetic. As hard as surgery is, my FIL almost instantly felt better than he had in years! He had been doing peritoneal dialysis, as well. His numbers improved drastically, his skin tone, energy, quality of life- everything- improved so much with a new kidney! Better health is on the horizon for your son!!
@@TheAllenfam5 thank you for sharing ❤️ we can’t wait for those things to be true for sully too!

Lord, I ask today that you would wrap your loving arms around, sweet Sully. I pray above all for healing and that you would strengthen his little body. I also ask that you would bring comfort to his parents and all of their family as only You can. And sending up prayers for all the donors and their families as well.

Sending prayers y’all’s way.
I totally remember the disappointment every time they had to change up my husbands dialysis orders.
My husband was just approved to go on the deceased list as a back up for the living donor. He struggles with that thought of someone dying to get one. I keep trying to remind him that the person dying was already going to - it’s just their last gift. It’s not an organ that would determine them to die.
It’s so true. It’s a tricky thing to grapple with, but you are right. Prayers for a quick transplant for your husband!
I'd give him mine, but I only got one!
Prayers prayers prayers!!!
Thank you ❤
Our PUV boy was just born in October and I feel like we are headed down a similar path. Appreciate you guys sharing the trials and tribulations of your families journey, as we are just starting ours.
Oh wow! This just made our day. It’s absolutely why we tried to share the whole process. Our prayers for your little one ❤
I’m so excited for all three of you!!! I clicked on this video as soon as I read the title!!!!! I’m so excited and relieved for Sully, as well as for both of you. I can’t begin to understand how scary this time is. But I do know that our God is all-knowing, merciful, and ever loving. I’m praying for all three of you during this time. This is a terrifying thing, but it’s so worth it in the end because it will give Sully a better, longer life. And I’m sure a “perk” so to speak of Sully getting his transplant this young, is that he won’t remember the surgery, the pain after, and any of his difficult times around dialysis as well as his transplant. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Edit to add: as someone who’s medically complex, something that has been helpful for me and my parents is having bags packed and ready to go so that whenever you get the call, you can just throw everything in the car and go. Hope that helps!!!
Oh, Sully, my heart is full for you having this blessing come to pass soon, but for the grace of God, you are reaching a very long-awaited goal for you and your family ❤ hugs to everyone Master Sully🙏✨️🙌✝️
Thank you ❤ God is definitely all of those things, and has give us such peace about what will happen next!!
Definitely packing a bag as soon as he’s activated! We did that when Tayler was pregnant too haha and we’re so thankful we had!
@@SadieGracethank you Sadie ❤

I am surprised you have not gone the deceased route from day 1.
