    This is a FANTASTIC car! I test drove the all new 2020 Sonata SEL with 2.5 engine yesterday and came away extremely impressed. I did an extended test drive, too. The quality and craftsmanship is top notice and packed with value. The structure is as solid as a rock. After comparing with its competitors I rate the all-new 2020 Hyundai Sonata as best in class. I test drove this car recently. It's beautiful inside and out.
    The only issue that I had was power.
    Mind you, that my current vehicle is a Genesis G70 3.3.T.
    So you can disregard my power comment.
    If you're in the market for a beautiful sedan, do yourself a favor and go and test drive this vehicle first.
    Then test the vehicle that is first on your list.
    You might end up going back to purchase the Hyundai Sonata!

    • @IReahpZz
      @IReahpZz 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Nline should fix that power issue I'm a current modified Kia stinger gt owner so I get wanting for more power!!! 300hp from the Nline seems like a good power level to start and sounds like it'll be around 30k starting which is a great price!

      @Rubedo Alaberti 290 and 310 tq which is a huge tq figure for a stock 4banger. Big news of the direct and port injection is great so longevity won't be an issue as far as carbon buildup which admittedly the stinger, all audi vw products and any di only engine will suffer from. Hope it comes to the 3.3 and new 3.5tt motors of Hyundai Kia and genesis

    • @casualsuede
      @casualsuede 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me, for a sedan, power has never been important, just as long as it is not embarrassing. Comfort, ergonomics, handling, steering feel and fuel economy matters more than if this car has 180 hp or 250 hp. Oh, I do have a weekend car for my need for speed.

    I purchased the 2020 Sonata Limited 3 weeks ago. Im coming from a BWM 535i and LOVE this Sonata. Definitely outshines my BMW for 30% of the cost! The only gripe I have is the underwhelming power choices. The Sonata would benefit greatly by adding 100 MORE HP to their power choices.

    • @bobg3221
      @bobg3221 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like I said, in my comment above the 2.5 L non-turbo has 191 hp just put a K&N air filter. Trust me you might not gain a lot of horsepower from that, but it will make your throttle response way quicker put that thing in sport and keep it in sport mode and trust me. It will haul ass I own one I know I have one of the filters in the car right now and it has a huge difference. It woke that motor up like you wouldn’t believe, I can guarantee it my Sonota would stay up with your BMW

    1. Up and down function option on passenger seat
    2. Back heated seat

    Why Hyundai eliminated these functions is beyond me. Maybe they will have a massive recall 🤷🏾‍♂️.

    The new Sonata's tail lights are awesome! Hyundai managed to design an all red taillights, including the turn signal indicators, without sacrificing the amber color. Because American taillights have ambiguity as they use red on both braking and turning, which is not the right way to do it. Red is for braking. Amber is for turning.

    I am seriously considering this new Sonata and possibly the Hybrid Variant at 50 MPG. I know I only have 10K on my Impala after 3 years making me a 3,333 mile a year driver and at current fuel prices I fill up once a month $26 or roughly $1 a day. But if I can cut that to .40 cents a day? The SAVINGS! Haha.will wait at least until the next model year. I think Mike and Tim should have their own Spin off Channel as they get so little Video time. Thinking on the idea of Duck Dynasty kind of Car reviews with Mike, and Tim and give it a British Flair what do ya think??

    With the current reign of the SUV, sedans are allowed to be true to themselves and not try to please everyone. As a result, the sedan is better than it’s ever been.

    • @Jag-leaper
      @Jag-leaper 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Reality is a bit more grim...sedans are better than ever because the have no choice...they have to sway SUV lovers with style the only way a 3 box design can and extra content

      SUVs are a fad. Everyone’s trying them now. And pretty soon sedans will be cool again. Give it some time and the craze will smooth out.

      @@middler5212 I love sedans I do,and SUV can never be as beautiful as some cars....but they are just not as practical in everyday life is the reality an open space vehicle that you can fold the seats down and have a higher more comfortable and commanding view of the road will always win to most consumers in the end because they like he comfort and convenience and could honestly care less about how it looks in alot of cases....this is the new normal they are here to stay....case in point even I own a crossover

    1:46 Seriously, who spends time in the cabin caressing the dashboard and door panels. And I'm not talking about surfaces where you rest your arm or elbow. Ever since car "journalists" have a fixation over soft plastics in the cabin, now everything should be soft touching materials and whatnot. Dashboards, knobs and door panels should be made to last and endure the test of time.

      wassupbro I agree! Even these “enthusiasts” make a big deal when there is no “pano” give me a break! Moon roofs are waaay overrated!!

    • @MrAntoniorey
      @MrAntoniorey 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      wassupbro then these “enthusiasts” wish the vehicle had this or that instead of just reviewing what the car has and promoting those features. And then use the term “segment” like it’s something big. If you want to camp are vehicles then do a comparison video. Concentrate on the car you are reviewing. My 6 cents~

    • @wassupbro
      @wassupbro 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MrAntoniorey I concur. Car journalists are getting too lazy to review a car as a whole. They just stick to some "gold standard" to review a car, make some funny remarks and call it a day.

    This is really nice I had a chance to test drive one and that Silver is one of the best Silver i have seen but i test drove a White one with charcoal interior SEL Plus had the Digital Gauges and Bose Audio also the Bose Audio is one of the best Bose Systems i have heard in any car Deep Tight Bass with Clear mids and highs!!! Deciding between this and the Camry although Hyundai has them on price because the SEL plus is pretty loaded while the Camry with same features is like 37,000 the Sonata was 30,000 roughly!
