Range is often one of the best upgrades and use the tower range upgrade when you have so many ranged units. And look up the rat's🐀 positioning tutorial, it is very detailed for 10min.
Grubby, thanks for introducing me to this wonderful game. I started playing this game three days ago, and I’m at 1200MMR from watching you. I’ve been a huge fan of yours since the WC3 days. Keep up the amazing content!
Hi Grubby, representative of Big Hack here. We do not know what Big Melt has told you, but we are seeing a huge lack of hackers in your games. We would love to get in contact with you to spread awareness of the advantages of hackers.
Well Grubby is a pro-player, once you become a pro player you usually do well in a lot of games. Because it takes a lot of dedication and talent to become a pro-player in the first place.

Extended range Vulcan is one of my favorite cards. +20 range and +50% damage at the cost of HP. Then you can tech scorching flames and range to give you a big unit that clears chaff and does high damage. Lvl1 Vulcan does 810 dps. Extended Range ups it to 1,215 dps. Add Scorching flames on top and now you do 2,228 dps. Range then ups the range so high that your carry unit is protected by your chaff and most other units making it very hard to lock on with a melter or hit with single target EMP. You have to counter with air which can be countered by the Vulcan player, or EMP stormcallers or Melters.
Regarding 1st round of 1st game - 3 starting arcs kill 3 sets of fangs incredibly fast, so you could have gone snipers. As soon as fangs fall you'd be in a sniper-tanks mirror where you have about 2 less tanks but 3 more arks and you'd win the first round. Plus fangs often travel in tight groups(not positioned to split on tower like crawlers) which makes them even easier to kill even for tanks. Only real advantage fangs have first round is slow movement, which might allow you to position in deep defence and hope that opponnent's crawlers arrive too far ahead of their army because of that. But your approach to mass chaff early rounds is of course a very solid strategy, you can't possible expect to win without the little heroes
I guess you could spam and level up arty with the fast reload and the vulcans are dealt with, even ah warfactory cant deal with the rocket spam... nice gameplay man 👍
At the end of the second game, the range upgrade for wasps would have been a mistake. The wasps were not fighting range war with anything, their goal was to shoot down vulcans and tank marksmen, which they did, the shield was the crucial upgrade there. GGs.
Only if you count the round he is getting the upgrade. Otherwise it 2 rounds even and profit on the 3rd. Overall he was 450 up so I'd say it was a good investment.
You don't have to like anything I am commenting and sorry about my total meltdown last time, the problem in internet is you don't get to see the person's reaction so you may think they don't care. Just get a bit more flexible on positioning your shuff (hope the pronunciation is right, I mean crawlers, fangs,...) and more flexible on the unit drops, because as you know, units get countered at least after two rounds. But other high rank players are struggling as well, some even use Excel sheets to mark everything why they lost a round. Going to an air unit is often a good way to force the opponent into over-committing and over-investing. And as you know, you can use replay to change an upgrade, unit positioning or other things to see what you could have done even better. And positioning your units vertically can help assign them to specific units but again the 9 min on the rats positioning video aren't wasted in my opinion.
A big issue people have when commenting on videos is the total lack of tact; typically talking on an online forum like you would to a friend that you've known for awhile. Often times it comes across as rude or condescending when you had absolutely no intention of doing so. If trying to be amiable you have to look through the lens of: "if someone said this to me that I did not know personally, or was not friends with, would it come off as aggressive or insulting? It goes a step further of even if you personally wouldn't mind this you need to step outside your own mindset of taking a neutral approach outside your ego of what you (generalized you, not directed at you specifically) think is acceptable. for example these two sentences are conveyed completely differently: 1) Your positioning was incorrect and this was mistake number one 2) I believe your positioning was off and this is what caused a timing issue. Both sentences say the same thing, but the first one comes off condescending where the second is sharing your thoughts and providing a reasonably explanation.
Mistakes the first round: - too little shuff (crawlers, fangs, etc.) - wrong positioning (too aggressive so shuff dies to early and DDs have too little time to do their work) - wrong upgrades (scorpions need range!, range is often the best upgrade especially mustangs) - wrong pick Sabertooth Lv5 600-100=500 instead of 3x Typhoons 900-200=500, so picking 3xTyphoons helps you clear shuff and you get more value. -wrong use of javelin. Use it against high value targets you CANNOT hit with STANDARD missile.

Scorpion was eating your sabertooth. Which it was using to level.

Great games. No idea how they could have predicted that pivot in the final round.
wasp shields are good but you were sleeping on the anti ground spec 200% damage increase. that is worth a couple of stacks of wasps of investment
Scorpions would have been awesome against the vulkans. I play mine with arty-mode, acid, doubleshot and range ;)
Stormcallers sure are great. Maybe nerf-worthy.
Gg, fun watching you play, you climb in mmr so quickly, I'm still stuck around 800 TT
Bees + Seagulls OP
10:52 it costs 300, so you only get even in 3 rounds

So, does health be calculated through starting unit and which specialist?
Specialist decides the health pool. The units are random though I might have missed a patch since I played last.

Except some of them are free.
