Overexplaining a Mechabellum game: th-cam.com/video/9005aDsQgCU/w-d-xo.html Older video but very relevant. Comment from the video: "This is one of the best tutorials for the game I've seen. Great job. You covered positioning, counters, economy, all the core aspects of the game."
Great guide as usual :) Might maybe add a small disclaimer that sometimes you're just cursed by the RNG gods and all the units drops are terrible for you but great for your opponent which sucks when you're already playing from behind. Gotta accept the fact and take the L.
Great video! I have been watching bunch of your vids and this explains a lot of whats happening. I finally got the game today and thanks to you i'll hit the ground running
This guide is amazing, I was about to ask you if I could block a free melter when playing giant spec, and apparently the answer is yes. So another week has gone by and I seem to be stuck in 1000-ish, but I've been winstreaking for the last 2 days. Now, real talk: are Fortresses just hot garbage? Yesterday I had an epic game against a guy that build 8 of them. I won with 5 marksmen, 3 vulcans and 3 overlords. His Fortresses were getting 2 shot by marksmen without acomplishing anything. What a useless unit. I've been having much more success with Rhinos. Exploding Rhinos work beautifully when being aggro'ed.
Thanks for the kind words! The path to the top takes a while! No, fortress is one of the best units in the game, you have to deploy them in the front for them to be useful though
Great video, is there data out for the actual potential drop of units on certain rounds? For example i know giants cant drop r2 and only hackers/sabers/rhinos seem to have disproportionally high level single units in drops. A video detailing the drop patterns for each round number would be awesome to have as companion video to this guide framework.
No data from the developers. Or some. Like there is an earliest round where a war factory can appear for example but I don't even remember what it was. People have tested the drops though and figured out some patterns. But they keep changing it a little bit in most patches so I think it's not worth remembering since the impact of that knowledge is pretty low and if it changes all the time you have to relearn it next week. They also said that they will change the high level rhino drop in the future (I think it's super OP) and I would guess the big saber drop goes to the same bucket. People also keep complaining about the hackers a lot so probably they will get a nerf also since they are kind of a feel bad unit.
@@SurreyEZ 10/10 for plugging another (great) video. Cheers for the content! Keep it up! If you ever want a giggle and a real challenge you could try and train me up from scrub to half decent player!

Oh the value formula is a great tip
it's a big deal to have some more round time late game
Great tips. Love getting a deeper look into the mechanics the game doesn’t outright explain.
yea it's a bit weird design with all these special rules
I thought I knew this, but I didn't really have the drop schedule accurately memorized and accessible. This video is of great value, thank you.

Skill issue
@@alexabel1841 Knowing when to give up is part of the skill ;)
Very valuable, I'm still learning unit counters from your excellent website too. Thanks for all you are doing
Really like this content much easier to learn from.
Great guide, thanks! Watching your guides and recordings have really improved my game. Thanks :)
Just leaving the engagement comment for YT here~

Thank you for your videos 🙏🙏
I don't play the game, but still find it interesting to watch
nice to hear! most tough matches are really exciting!
I started by watching but it's much more fun to actually play and get a ggwp when you outsmart an opponent.
Dreamhack Dallas this Weekend, this is the now or never time for Mechabellum.
he surely they will have a marketing budget for the 1.0 release, but yea the Dreamhack event should give a good idea how the game is received
Several cards can also prevent unit drops like mass produced sledgehammers if I recall correctly.
Oh shit... i never thought about blocking unit cards by unlocking them.
good stuff. thanks
1:54 what does tech a unit mean? does it mean upgrade a unit's rank or their abilites? or both
purchasing a technology for a unit type
@@SurreyEZ thanks
does the opponent get the same free units as options or are they different?
same and same cards other rounds
was the video too fast paced btw?
Nah this is great and to the point, appreciated
Great pace, I can always rewatch certain sections if I want to review later
Well paced for an umbrella tips video. If you were doing a more specific guide lingering on details a little longer would be fine but not required
Terrible at the game
Love the game
Love the videos
One day ill get above 600 MMR Haha
keep grinding! :D and watch this: th-cam.com/video/09pbB0q4Vrs/w-d-xo.html
