Adding to the status effect one, you can actually poison a Steel-type in Gen 2 by using Twineedle, since Steel-types were programmed to be only immune to Poison-type moves
And after all that time, the only way you can now poison a Steel type is to either change it's type or use Salandit or Salazzle since their abilities and attacks allow them to poison steel types and burn fire types if I'm not mistaken.
The pokeball splitting in two isnt just an early concept, it can be seen in the catch animations for Gen 2, as when you throw the ball, it splits open in two before closing back up.

You have to watch videos on Kurt's Pokéballs and how many of them are coded improperly, don't work, or have idiotically narrow ranges for what they affect. I think Stunfisk is the only Pokémon actually immune to paralysis. Ground type, electric type, AND with the ability limber. You’d have to do some massive set up to get it paralyzed.
Mr Kincaid was a prime example of “twist villain” tm before it was cool, before it was uncool. The guy gets his underlings to jump off the moving cargo ship somehow. The Drapion was a good boss for the game, and we had close proximity to the guy from the start of the adventure. Cyrus and Lysandre needed to take a cue from this guy.

This happened to me when I wanted to catch an Eevee in BDSP - I used Thunder Wave on it then captured it, then evolved it into a Jolteon. It was pretty funny seeing my Jolteon have the paralyzed status!
I got a Fletchinder to sustain a burn through means of evolving a burned Fletchling lol. I even made a backup of the save state with the burned Fire-type

Pretty sure I've surpassed that 345,600 money cap before, via double battling with a healer and a meowth/persian. (Meowth/persian holding amulet coin, of course.) Gen 3, at that. Always had to be sure the meowth/persian wasn't strong enough to one-shot the enemy, had the healer heal the enemy after every attack, and just kept that up for as long as my sanity could last, as I'd just restore power points, every time they ran out. Maybe it was later generation that I managed the healer trick. Don't quite remember for sure. I do know I've ground out extreme numbers that way before, though.

i first heard about macro cosmos in pokemon masters, its a dialogue option that pops up when you talk to trainers in the trainer lodge. i thought it was a weird new competitive item and always got frustrated when it wouldnt give me a bonus when the hot topic was items lol
