I think there should be moves that can change type depending on the pokemon.

@@liselilerindram9916 The Focus Sash prevents OHKO. It acts like Sturdy. If you're hit from full health, you cannot be knocked out in one move. Since Counter is a move that basically reflects and doubles the damage of the move being countered, it's entirely possible.

Actually, dratini is a serpentine pokemon, which means it’s measured head to tail, not by height. So that means that it would only have that height if it stood completely up.

Splash isn’t a Water-type move because it’s not meant to be called “Splash.” In other translations, including the original Japanese, it’s just meant to be a “Hop,” which is why other Pokémon that have nothing to do with water can learn it. It was a poor mistranslation that didn’t account for the idea that anything other than Magikarp would be able to learn it.

I’m pretty sure back in generation one, Dragon Types were a thing and the typing was given to (at the time) non-dragon type Pokémon.

@@darkfang932 I don't think that was how it worked back in gen1; for what you said to work, Gryados and Aerodactyl would've needed to have originally been dragon types, but they are not, and never were. The reason why they gave Lance non dragon type Pokemon on his team was because there weren't enough back then (he had 2 Dragonair in gen1 AND 3 Dragonite in gen2), so to fill his team slots they went with giving him Pokemon that looked like they could maybe be dragons instead. It's also worth noting that not every Pokemon in the dragon egg group is dragon type as well, so it seems that the Pokemon does not necessarily need to be a certain type to be considered to be similar to the ones that are.

I think it’s fairly obvious Salamence it’s measure from foot to head(4’11 is still to short tho) and dratini is measured from head to tail. Salamence head to tail is easily 10 ft+ and dratini head to ground in the upright position is most likely around 2 1/2 ft. Dratini is not taller or longer than Salamence.
The devs have confirmed every official measurement is head to tail for every pokemon.
Fun fact: according to all known laws regarding the best Pokemon, there is no way any other Pokemon are superior, or will be superior to the Wooper line.
Maybe a reverse would be cool, Pokémon facts that sound true but are fake.

A thing to note about the sizes of charizard, salamence, and dratini: Snakes are measured lengthwise. Dratini is just shy of 6 feet LONG instead of the default pose lifting its head six feet off the ground, and salamence is on all fours so yeah it should be shorter than charizard

I never knew shellder and cloyster move backwards, but it would make sense since they are based on scallops. They swim backwards as well, and pretty quickly too.

On the topic of the highest amount of damage, you can use the Rollout Storage Glitch and have the Pokemon in doubles. To quickly sum up the glitch, you use a rollout on a mimikyu and if the rollout does all 5 hits, your next move will have the multiplier of the 5th hit of rollout(x16 without without defence curl and x32 with)

Check Dratini and salamence's body types in the pokedex, depending on what they are classed as (dratini being snake like and salamence walking on 4 legs) dratini is measured head to tail, while salamence is measured foot to head.

It was given Psychic instead of Water simply because of how overpowered it was back in 1999. The Flying type stayed because of obvious bird features.

I think it'll just do the damage dealt, which would be reliant upon Wobbuffet's max hp

I believe Dratini’s length is counted from tail to head, like many snakes. And considering it doesn’t stand upright from the tip of it’s tail, I suppose it wouldn’t be as tall as you expect.
