We did the Debt Snowball the Dave Ramsey way with gazelle intent.
We were able to pay off over $146k in 26 months. It was tremendous fun & very painful at the same time. It was painful enough that the thought of taking on debt ever again literally causes me to
    have a panic attack. I
think the reason why Dave wants people to become debt free the way he says is so people who do it his way will have the same reaction to debt I have.
I’ve noticed that people who want to continue to “live their lives” frequently go back into debt because it wasn’t painful getting out. I see a lot on TH-cam

Yes I believe working while in school was my pivotal moment in the sense that I could overcome anything with hard work. I feel that because I didn’t have the support financially from my parents due to their own money issues of being in debt and bankruptcy that I had to find a way to pay and enjoy life. My younger brother is 24 and in grad school ans is just learning the difficulties of juggling going to school full time and working full time. I just feel it better prepared me for the future as well as the struggles life has thrown my way. My pivotal money moment is more recent. I am 28 and pregnant with my first baby and I am applying for a doctoral program for Audiology. So I started cash stuffing and saving about 2 months ago to prepare myself as a new mom and student that can’t work as many hours due to the demand from school. Thanks for all this information. I too want 6 kiddos whether they are biological or adopted. But I am learning now how to better prepare for my future with them. ❤

I didnt have debt but i had 0 savings. My Dad died unexpectedly and my mom had to sell her home. Now i have an emergency fund, Christmas and sinking funds. Need to start a car fund. Youve inspired me take what's leftover every month and put it toward that.

I see you do more than one saving challenge, but for me, could I just do one saving challenge at a time? Finish with one, then do another craving challenge we got still consider saving in with that work my case I'm new at this. Is that still saving in a way?

@lymanjoy OK, thank you for saying that ! So in one of your videos you said if someone was going to start they should start an emergency fund first , or should have one and once they have accomplish that then they can start other saving challenge because that's what I was thinking of doing first as a beginner right?

I did have a question about transferring a credit card balance going from 31.79% to 0 % it’s only 497.00 but the credit card I’m transferring to is only 500.00 good idea? Bad idea? Yes Christmas is in 13 weeks.

Gina, I appreciate you. Thanks for your question. I guess my question would be, is there a transferring fee, does the new card have any other hidden fees and how much can you pay monthly as well as how long the o% will last.
