@@miltzjamz absolutely. In most homes that have a water softener, they don't have any way to separate soft water from hard water. Your hose outside, the water that goes to sink, the fridge and ice maker, toilet, dishwasher, washing machine ... It's all connected and safe to drink.

DO NOT BUY AVALON PRODUCT. They gave us the run around, had us buy new filters, when that didnt work they said our unit had failed and was out of warranty. Read reviews carefully and buy from another supplier.

Put new filters in. Solenoid valves don't open. No water comes through. What do you do?

We have installed new ones and still no water ???? You guys response is crap no one ever answers phone or email
