That there is one awesome outboard engine!!! Today, Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude and others are offering out boards that are V8, V10 and V12!! Fuel injection, Electronic Ignition 4-Strokes! I'm old enough to remember when 2-Strokes were the rule for outboards. The V6 and V8 Mercury Black Max outboards started off a 2-Strokes!
Turns out to be a very interesting IF you understand what they are fishing for and the method they are using. They are fishing for bay anchovies (Anchoa Mitchelli). In Cuba it is called (Majua) in the US it is known as (Glass Minnows) or white bait. The one larger fish was a (Palometa). This was obviously Vietnam and the funny thing is that I am familiar with their product, having dined on it many times. One coats the fish in flour and deep fries them whole and you eat them whole also, a lil' bit of salt and a cold beer, Oh my, that's living! Here we use a seine or a cast net mainly to catch them as opposed to a top or mid water trawl that they were using.

The thing is simple: a boat with a double horizontal mast and a truck engine, nothing dangerous. The rest is just mini sardine fishing, a polluted delta river and over exploitation of fish. The engine must be a fairly reliable Cumins or Perkins. Greetings from Lima, Peru
