I can’t say enough how happy I am to have found your channel and company as a resource. I’ve been doing private label for just over a year, arbitrage 2 years before that. I feel like this brought me from 3rd grade to high school level in just a few videos. Still so much to learn but grateful for your content. Wish I had enough sales volume and cash flow to go all in with Profitable Pineapple.
@@ProfitablePineapple I have (the full video course on youtube)! very valuable and am rewatching it. Trying to fast track a migration to the lessons learned from it all!
@@ProfitablePineapple If it's a new product, it doesn't have a sales history. I was understanding that the new Coupon requirements doesn't allow Coupons UNTIL you have sales history???
@@AlexMitchell1I too was wondering about this. I attended the live event yesterday and meant to ask about this. Coupons for new products with no sales history don’t seem to be active or working.
Agreed :) makes sense that the rebates would still work well, but for the direct Amazon sales, you like to price at your listing/goal price rather than a very low sale price during launch, but throw in a coupon, right? I guess I’m just asking if you should still focus on keeping at your goal price even if the Amazon coupons no longer work the way they used to.
For the rebate, you mention 100% mail in rebate. Do you find customers dissatisfied with not getting a cash rebate vs. rebate to use in your Shopify store? Maybe I’ve always interpreted rebates incorrectly as money back. If you don’t specify that it’s for “store credit”, sent they displeased?
@@ProfitablePineapple I'm not convinced. The idea of using AUTO campaigns for KW discovery is somewhat mute now that there's good sources of 1P data (SQPR, BA, POE, etc). Moreover, those tools show that whilst there's a longtail, most sales come from surprisingly few KWs. That makes sense given how a user's search is refined by autosuggest in the search bar. AUTO can exposure you to be pretty junky KWs that can be highly irrelevant or too broad to convert well. Flooding your listing with bad traffic, isn't all that smart. Sure, there's still scope to uncover KWs that you might not otherwise find through KW research. But for sure they're not going to move the needle and the cost of their delivery is too high. The other big issue is of KW/bid isolation. You can't refine the bid of a KW (or the placements at a KW level) if it's bucketed in an AUTO (or phrase/broad for that matter; I only run exact for this reason). The only case for AUTO, IMO, is that it does expose you to ad placements that manual KWs seemingly don't and this can be a source of additional volume.

@@dougmoore7424 Awesome! Thanks so much!
How do you manage the 14 days, 45 days all of that? Also, how do you communicate that you get $100 mail in rebate?
A spreadsheet and we email them a gift card
How do you manage the 14 days, 45 days all of that?
A project manager and a spreadsheet
How would the new coupon pricing requirements affect this strategy?
You can still go up to 50% off with the coupon so no change as a coupon is part of the second launch.
Do you see a concern elsewhere?

What happens if you run out of stock before you surge?
Why only auto and broad? Why not phrase?
Auto and broad are discovery campaigns so you don't need another discover campaign with phrase.
If you run out of Stock, you do it all again!

Always explain this up front. 100% mail in rebate back to our store.
Can I still you use your 5 step process if I am using Amazon FBM?
Yes you can. Why not FBA?
$3.99 landing cost for $40 looks impossible
Can you share any example that satisfy this stats?
My brand haha
@@ProfitablePineapple you are doing sourcing from china and can you tell in which category we get such stats?
I did -50 bucks
Awesome!
AUTO campaigns.... no thanks!
If done right, they are very effective
