Can I just say, sometimes they do this thing where they just don't do anything with a character's eyes. Obvious example is Shulk, as he just looks like he's staring into space, but others like Bayonetta for some reason not winking in her first pose, just is weird and confuses me. This is obviously very minor, but I just wanted to point that out.
l DargeldeBoer lol its funny yeah, some people prefer savage and cool F Robin but some like me like the chilled out boi here for a good fight He also more polite it seems XD
I feel like both of Shulk's first 2 poses were better in Smash 4. Being able to see his full body and stance adds that Xenoblade feel especially because in Smash 4 he looks to be completely focused on a target off screen (the first one looks like you're the target) His 3rd pose though... Feels like it needs to be replaced. I'd like to see him put the sword up to his face dramatically while meditating and the camera looking at his face through the hole, then electricity builds up and the Smash Monado appears and he flurries into a stance. Or since Robin got a Chrom cameo, maybe Shulk's 3rd pose could involve some tomfoolery with Reyn since his model is in the Final Smash (I think... I know Dunban is... Maybe Fiora?... I haven't seen Shulk's FS in a while)
Arielle Spiro yes. It’s a shame tho, cuz Melia is my favorite and I really liked Sharla and Reyn too so I kinda wish they would all appear but randomly and just three at a time like in the original game

Ultimate's victory screen is obviously more pleasing to the eye, what with the petals, speed lines and the more detailed and colourful background. The camerawork is also snappier and more stylish. The only thing that I really prefer in 4 is how you can see Levin Sword's trail on the freeze frame in Robin's 1st victory pose.
I also miss when the announcer says “And the Winner is” It made the wins screens more satisfying. If the had that in Ultimate, they would have been amazing victory screens. Bayonetta’s victory screens were way better in Smash 4. It’s weird and lazy that the announcer says “Mario Wins” then the name pop out like 3 seconds late, it’s just not natural to me. And I wish Ness and Lucas had their victory themes in (brawl/smash 4) back. It was perfect for them, they didn’t need to change it.

They made Bayonetta's eyes and facial expressions so lifeless and monotone in ultimate. Imo they were much better in smash 4 especially that seductive grin she gives off at 21:40.
The koopalings look a little less awkwardly proportioned in Ultimate. Some of them are still a little wonky looking, but not as bad as they were in Smash4 at least. And the detail of them using their wands instead of the hammer is great.

I hated how with the smash 4 poses, some of them were done their pose, and then there would be an awkward pause after. Yes,I know they had to do that bc it had the “the winner is” and if they put the dialogue during the “the winner is” it would sound weird, but they should probably speed up since the some of the names of characters (Rosalina & Luma) are longer. That’s why I like “... wins!” better then “the winner is ...”. Say all you want but I think that smash 4 had the worst way of doing victory poses in all 5 games.
Did anybody ask?
21:35 Oh no... you'll see it a lot
I quit playing Smash 4 like 2 years after it came out cuz Bayonetta killed the game
I don't know what's about it, but SM4SH Robin and Shulk look so much better than how they look in Ultimate.
6:04 Just look at the difference in little macs victory pose
I played both Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate. I love both of them but I mostly prefer Ultimate. My favorite one is Mii Brawler.
Cailie Isidro it’s you again
Mii victory theme:
SSB4: based on the Super Sm4sh Bros. theme
SSBU: based on the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate theme
12:44 Shulk looked so much better in Smash 4. Smash 4 Shulk looked perfect.
Retierashia Especially his second victory screen he looks like a derp
Nah, he looks fine. His model looks great during gameplay.
When you're so early that the video still isn't even in 1080p 60fps yet. Lol
12:44 This is Shulk’s coolest pose in the Wii U version. How could they mess it up in Ultimate 😔
@Nathan Ronco YEAH
11:13
Robin: Lucina i hope i didn't hurt you
Lucina: F*ck you...
How DARE you forget the Palutena's victory taunt to Pittoo?!
"Poor little Pittoo!"
I agree! You forgot the Poor Little Pittoo!
They made Bayonetta's eyes and facial expressions so lifeless and monotone in ultimate. Imo they were much better in smash 4 especially that seductive grin she gives off at 21:40.
It matches her
I disagree.
While the Sm4sh victory pose for the first one is a lot better, I personally think the second victory pose is a lot better in Ultimate.
@@MrInstantRamen well, you're stupid and wrong
Why are you attacking me for having an opinion..?
6:23 SCREAMS
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
6:24 mu
The koopalings look a little less awkwardly proportioned in Ultimate. Some of them are still a little wonky looking, but not as bad as they were in Smash4 at least. And the detail of them using their wands instead of the hammer is great.
Smash 4 had the best Newcomers tbh.
*ridley would like to know your location*
Smash ultimate
Everyone is here.
@@myttydohun4851 An oversized loser of a dragon can't save this wreckage of disappointing newcomers.
Oh and I also forgot MY BOY QUAJUTSU!!!
TheMadZocker Who hurt you? The Belmonts, inklings, everyone returning? You seem mad about something other than this.
Dark pit : Where's your goddess now?
Palutena : Sorry about that Pit
Lucina: Is that the hero king?
F/Robin : How can you protect Chrom if you can't protect yourself? (I think)
And here I thought there were no interaction between characters
How can you protect Chrom if you cant protect yourself*
(Still nice job if you typed that down relying on memory)
@@edobul5846 yeah it was pretty much on memory but thanks for correcting me 😊
they really changed ryu's face at 18:05
I do gotta admit. Smash 4 really is nostalgic in some ways
What is with Ryus arm in Sm4sh?
It looks like a sack of ham tied by string
Small random detailed I noticed was that for Female Robin's 2nd and 3rd Victory pose in smash 4 she had a cute little smile, but for ultimate they removed the smile and went with a more serious look. I think I like the little smiles better. But over all it's clear that Ultimate was a nice step up from 4
2:58 *ASSERTING DOMINANCE*
Mii Swordfighter had class throwing that sword, but now they don't do it anymore.
shulk look happier on the switch version.... just realise that :P
He just got destroyed in ultimate..his smash 4 face was a lot better
Shulk in ultimate looks like a doll
