Hey guys, you may have noticed that I muted the Persona 5 and 4 victory themes from this video. That's because for a few months (more specifically when my channel got re-monetized back in December), this video was immediately demonetized because of copyright from ATLUS, so after a few months of just not doing anything with it for some reason, I decided to mute the victory themes from the video.
Will I stop doing victory theme origin videos when the next Smash inevitably comes around? Definitely not. But will I purposely exclude the audio for the Persona victory themes in them out of safety? Probably.
I hope you guys can understand!

Ness/Lucas and Yoshi got did dirty in Ultimate. Both of them peaked in Melee. The orchestra theme Melee had just fit their melodies so well.
I would disagree with Yoshi’s theme peaking in melee but I agree with everything else you said.
@@jimbocragginsI’m guessing they wanted to make yoshi’s theme shorter. Same thing happened with Mario’s Theme from brawl/smash 4, it was longer but ultimate cut the end part to make it a little shorter.

I miss the flute in the Ice Climbers victory theme. They cut it way too short in Ultimate. :(
Ness and Lucas should have had separate themes. Give Ness the same segment they used from Smiles and Tears and Lucas’s victory theme should be the Love theme from Mother 3.
It's been 20+ Years, and nobody finishes listening to the Pokemon theme to hear where Smash specifically takes from it.

The Brawl and Smash 4 Victory theme is a sped up version of the EarthBound Beginnings (Mother) the Title Theme. And Ultimates victory theme is a sped up version of the eight Melodies from EarthBound Beginnings
It's so sad that this is the last smash character we're getting and yet I couldn't think of a better one to go out on. Sakurai, take a vacation.
It's unlikely to be the last Smash game we'll ever get, but it'll sure be very hard to top this one.

My favourites are honestly the Ridley/Dark Samus one and the Wario one. The first one I find funny because it feels like you've ruined humanity's last hope, which is something way too extreme for a fighting game, and the Wario one is just such a nice bop, plus his victory animations are hilarious as hell.

It also might be one of my favorites because it wasn’t even based off of the main theme for Shake It, the main theme for Shake It was based on Wario’s victory jingle
I'd personally have preferred something from one of the Wario Land games for Wario's victory theme, like the level clear theme from 2 or 3. Wario Land is bizarrely underrepresented in Smash as a whole.

I like how super smash bros is probably the only game series where a bunch of characters from different franchises can all be in one game
not only that, but different genres, heck characters usually exclusive to one console appearing on another, it's also probably one of the only games that characters from kid friendly games and characters from adult games appear side-by-side

A slight correction should be made to Wario's theme. It's actually original to Brawl, like G&W's themes are original to the Smash series. (Shake it was released six months after SSBB) After its introduction in Brawl, it then became a recurring theme in the Wario series.
Other than that, thank you for the compilation. It's good to have it all in one place.
Ten to one says that Shake It was being developed alongside or before Brawl but Brawl released first but Sakurai got to see the game in progress and said ‘That first level would make a great victory theme for Wario’
About as Smash-original as Roy, Woolly World, the Omega Yato, and the Poltergust G-00, sure.

Shake it was already in development at the time, so it still came from that game, and they just used it for Brawl.
I like the last song you played, Brawl’s results theme will always be one of my favorites to listen. It’s sad they didn’t bring that song back on Ulitmate. 😭

Captain Falcon's was so unique, especially his 64 version. The others were either cheery or triumphant but his stood out really well.

I don't know if it's just me but I really wished Lucas had his own theme that is something from Mother 3. It would've helped him stand out a bit better. But even still I can't help but tear up from hearing the SSB and SSBM Ness victory themes. I grew up listening to them

@@rattsquidz Umm,they're both from the Mother Series,only that Ness's game (Mother 2) was the only one to make to the west,and named Earthbound (then Ninten's Earthbound Beginnings),Lucas's is the only one not being officially in the west yet,that's why his game is still named Mother 3

For the longest time, I was actually confused figuring out the origin of the Mother series characters' Victory Themes, since none of the music sounded familiar when playing "EarthBound" multiple times in the past.

For the record, it's specifically ripped from track 82, "Overture X". It's not on TH-cam so I assume people doing these videos couldn't easily find it.

Did anyone ever figure out the difference between Sonic's Sm4sh and Ultimate victory themes?
I did, in Sm4sh and Brawl, the ending part is long. But in Ultimate, it is a bit short.
I think my favourites are the melee Mario victory and the 64 DK and Starfox victory themes for ultimate, Little Mac.

To be honest I love Steve’s theme more than any others since of how the rare achievement theme plays after completing all challenges in Minecraft since of how it takes time and dedication to win the game, it’s just like Smash Bros to where it also takes time and dedication to win most of the time so I believe Steve’s victory theme might be the most suitable reward for a victory and such nostalgic vibes coming out I say. Well to be precise, Steve’s Rare Achievement sound effect only plays when you get a rare achievement complete (shocker, I know), but it doesn’t play only when you get ALL of them, just simply when one of them is completed, like launching a fireball back at a Ghast.

What would have been so crazily really cool, if the victory tunes was used for their spin off games for Smash Bros. fighters' origin franchises with the exceptions of Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Star Fox (sort of), F-Zero, Ice Climber, R.O.B, Punch-Out!!, Duck Hunt, Splatoon, Metal Gear, Sonic, Pac-Man, Castlevania, Persona, Banjo-Kazooie, Fatal Fury, Minecraft, Street Fighter, and Final Fantasy which got their own victory tunes made to the game, like I mean what their is the EarthBound rhythm game, a new Pokémon Trozei! for Nintendo Switch, Fire Emblem fighting, or a Kid Icarus RPG game, this will be awesome.

If there is another after Ultimate, I want Gloria in a Pokémon Trainer style with Grookey, Drizzile, and Cinderace. Her alt can be Victor with Sobble, Raboot, and Rillaboom.
That's not how alts work, Rillaboom couldn't possibly play the same way as Cinderace. They'd have to be separate fighters, not even Echoes.
And pokemon shouldn't have more reps, it's overrepresented as it is
