I was pretty amused with your approach here, and also happy to see you using our parts for your project. Maybe you would be interested in being a beta tester for our actual R7 Fender Eliminator. We are programming the cutting paths for the CNC machines now. We should have some prototypes sometime soon.
@@ScoutsOut OK...I will have Mark reach out to you via Instagram. I replied to this thread yesterday and I dropped in our support email address so TH-cam probably flagged it out and put it in your "held for review" box
@@TSTindustries You guys have a release date on this yet? I got my R7 a few weeks ago and I'm really holding out for your product because they're just about the best I've ever used, but I'm getting antsy to delete this fender lol. If you want you can throw a prototype my way too🤣
@@Larping101 funny timing...my last task of the day I was just playing with the closeout prototype we made in one of the mills. I tested it and approved it for production. This will serve as the base component for all the variants of fender eliminators we will be releasing. We have a time slot for milling operation 1 of all of these from first batch next week. Then op2 will be shortly thereafter, and off to anodize. In that time we will be shooting our installation videos so they can be available for launch. Tail signals are then next product we will be developing for this bike, but that will have to wait until I button up the design and put into production the mt09 integrated taillight.
I'll be honest I was shocked this channel only has 1.78k subs, the quality branding and everything is of 1mil channel, the sub count doesn't match the content lol nice to find a channel like this.
Got the same integrated tail light on my R7 and it's super dim compared to the tst one on my wife's R3...hers blows mine away with how bright and the multiple settings it has.
you should add those lights that outline the shape of the rear spoiler right and left side its like a bendable light i think a company called VF makes some.
@@ScoutsOut Got a surprise call yesterday, R7 came in. Bought it outright today right before winter hits. Might be able to get a ride in or two before storing it 😂
Excited to pick my R7 up in December. Are you planning on installing the frame sliders anytime soon? Wondering how complex these are, also is their space in the fork stem for a quad lock mount or similar for holding a phone? Great videos as always
Thank you, I’m still on the fence on if I will install frame slider. I probably will…maybe next month. As for the quad lock yes, you can remove the center cap and install a slip in quad lock which I’ve also been considering, if I do it I’ll post a vid on it
@@ScoutsOut you’re welcome, no problem I’m tossing up weather I do them at home or get the workshop to put them on before pick up. Perfect, I have one on my Ninja 400 currently and wasn’t sure if I’d need a new mount for the R7.
I got them from TST Industries, and I bought the R6 one. They now have the R7 version: tstindustries.com/tst-elite-1-fender-eliminator-yamaha-yzf-r7-2022.html It’s out of stock but if you can wait it will be a better fit

@@ScoutsOut would you be able to tell me if the yellow or blue is left or right. I just installed mine with their fender eliminator but I dont have the plug in option.
On the light I got the yellow wire plugged into the connector on the bike that was white, the black connector went to the blue wire. I don’t know which one was right or left I just got lucky when I plugged them in
Looks awesome, very clean, that is the #1 thing anybody with a sportbike can do to make their bike better looking, its like an inside joke all the bike manufactures do hahaha this year we made the license plate stick 3 feet out the back 😂I do feel sorry for mechanics that have to fix streetbikes all day tho with all the nightmare faring set ups. 🤙🤙
tstindustries.com/tst-elite-1-fender-eliminator-for-yamaha-yzf-r6-2017-.html The new R7 one is on tst now just still not available if you want to wait for that one
No, but you do have to have the license plate lights turn signals and the plate has to be easily visible, so putting them down in from the the rear tire can get you pulled over. Just depends on how strict you county officers are

Saved me a bunch of time compared to the other videos!
Thanks bro, glad it helped
A very cool video buddy, great work and super explained, the conversion is great. Great work. Thanks for sharing, keep it up and have fun. Ride on
Thanks ck, cheers!!
Not bad dude! U made it work.. looks good. I had that tst one on my 2013 r6 back in 2013 its a nice bracket
Yea, it worked out pretty good. Tst makes quality products, the bracket is nice
Another great vid, looks like a lot of work for a little job, but it looks good in the end.

Ive been waiting for TST or another company to come out with some, that would be awesome. ill look into the VF ones that would be cool thanks!
When do ya plan on doing the chain adjustment video? Really appreciate all your videos, got my R7 coming in December when it’ll be dumping snow 😭

Where did you get the license plate bracket and the light for it I found the tail light just can’t find the bracket and little light for plate ?

Hey I just have 1 question for you😊
Do you thing this bike needs a steering damper?
I don’t even know if you can even put one ☝️

Can you teach me to take off the fairing? I'm interested.
I took some of the fairings off in the oil change video if you want to watch that. Once i get the exhaust and tuner i will have to take more off.
Thanks you

Did you solder the tail light? Did your JL Design Tail like come with the plug in option?
The one I got came with plugs no need to solder, the only item I had to solder was the license plate light

On the light I got the yellow wire plugged into the connector on the bike that was white, the black connector went to the blue wire. I don’t know which one was right or left I just got lucky when I plugged them in
I’d say if you have to splice them, cut only one and test them like I did the license plate light in the vid to see which one is left or right.
I need that number plate holder bro, where did you find that?
I dropped the links in the description if you wanna check them out
Yo did that amazon light come plug and play? I'm going to order one today if so. Is this link still the correct one?
