I like to work with the Celtic cross (I feel like there is always more to learn about this spread). The "this card is below you" sometimes represents subconscious factors. You made me thing, maybe draw three other cards under that card as "blind spot"-- and if using more than one deck, do these three with a really good " shadow " deck since that's usually what we avoid.
And then maybe three above the crown card (I guess one card could be enough for some) for more on the strengths/resources from a third deck (or even an oracle deck) to bring more enlightenment to that area.

Anyone can tell you're extremely knowledgeable when it comes to this topic - it's a breath of fresh air, I tell you. I'm quite new when it comes to tarot (been at it a couple of months) and this had definitely pushed me forward a lot, so thank you!

Wow, my entire outfit (jeggings and a loose v-neck tee) is exactly the same color as that beautiful sweater you're wearing!!! Synchronicity!!

Love this video - person centered readings are - I believe - a must. Ego gets kicked to the curb!

Your awesome! Very refreshing to listen to this perspective! Lots of wonderful insight. I mainly read for myself but this would still be amazing things to apply to a personal reading of oneself. I totally agree on the 3rd person angle. They aren't the ones struggling or standing before you. Most issues if not all need to be dealt with from 1st person perspective. Anything they say about a 3rd person is often flawed and generally not accurate. Bravo! Wonderful video!

Thank you, Kelly-Ann, I love your vids! You did a reading for me once six months ago and it was amazing. :) Anyway, I really love how you see the tarot as a tool for empowerment and that you come from a counseling view. I share this view with you, but at the same time I feel like other peoples' expectations are holding me back a little? I feel like people expect me to be able to see their future and answer questions about that... And every once in a while I actually experience that the cards do give me information about the future that is quite "whoa!" you know? So I somehow feel like I need to choose a path - read from a spiritual counseling view or dig into the more "future insight"-aspects, you know? just some thoughts I had while watching this...

I'm amazed on how many questions about that other person. I managed to give the querant a 2 paths read. The can either carry on the way the are, or they can change their views. I do quite a lot of what you say but I could go deeper. I have a question lovely Four Queens. If you are in the middle of a reading and the cards just suddenly stops giving you information. (I am a reader who looks at the message in the card image), I just generally tell the querant, sorry the cards can't give me more than I can. I also use, "this is the answer in this timespace, it may change". If this them subconsciously closing to your energy as they don't want to hear you. Or is it something else?

Thanks for your question. :) I work from a counselling perspective and use Tarot as the tool to guide me in how to help a client see their options, witness their strengths and gain clarity on their situation. As such, I have never experienced a time when the cards 'stopped giving me information'. I feel that the information is always there for me. It may be more or less difficult to interpret and turn into actionable advice points, but it is there. Each reading is so different and at times it can be tough to tie the information together and present it well but I enjoy the challenge. To me the cards are not the oracle. They cannot withhold or deliver information according to their agenda. I can dive as deeply as I want to and I always bring the messages to the surface, if that makes sense. The cards are important symbolic representations of different lessons and mindsets, but essentially they are dead matter. I am the one with the consciousness to turn their images into something meaningful.
It might well be different for you and for some other readers because everyone's perspective on the cards is so unique.

I went to the link you have for the ebook but I was told there is no such item. Is there an updated link or have you taken the book off the market?
