7 years later you uploaded this video I found you. I found my spiritual path a year ago and even if you do not know you are my teacher and have been for a full year. Both Tarot wise and Spirituality and Witchcraft wise. So I have to thank you with all my hearth
I've been trying to learn tarot for months now..and I'm so grateful that i found you.. you're a great help on my tarot journey I've gained so much knowledge from you..and the information are more easy to absorb now coming from you..thanks again..❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE the Queen of Cups. It's fascinating when we keep receiving the same card, right? Feels really quite profound. I think you're overflowing with love and realisation and self-discovery and personal knowing at this point in your life which is so complex but also so transitory and is demanding you to show such restraint and accept such vast illumination. The Queen of Cups is perfect for you. She is a reflection of all that you're learning and an affirmation for you of your ability to endure x
As a person new to Tarot I found it very frustrating that there are so many different meanings and descriptions of the cards. No wonder so many people have a problem. Reverse comment : As a veteran of the Tarot I love that no matter how you describe a card the meaning is bound to be correct somewhere. This makes it so easy for the beginner.
great ideas. i bet u do amazing artwork. ive found that i relate more to certain types of artwork on tarot decks. i had a hard time with rider waite but with my halloween art deck the pics help me remember the associations better. i find things in the pics to bring out the meaning. i love the pathwork idea as well as a card a week!
It's so important to find those decks which really spark the imagination and vibe with who you are. Rider Waite has just kind of become my 'comfort' deck because I know the symbolism so well, but I am totally planning on branching out soon. I have a wish list and I'll be showing you guys my purchases :D
Great tips! I love the card a week idea. I have been so busy that I haven't touched the deck this past month!!! I have bought a book that I am going to use as my journal. I must start to journey into the Tarot more! =) Much love x
Hæ! I know this is a long time ago video... I just wanted to tell you thank you! I am going through allt your beginner's tarot videos and they are SO amazing and helpful...
:) You're welcome - I loved doing the Trainee Tarot course so much. I didn't expect to get so much enjoyment out of it! But apparently I like teaching more than I suspected. x
It's commonly accepted that proficient readers will have their own interpretations *and* that intuition according to the reading you're doing and who your client is will obviously shape and colour things. I personally believe that all readers should have an understanding of the *accepted* contemporary meanings though, before intuition can do its thing, because then the system is more well-rounded and everyone can understand it using universal definitions. The deck you're using can change things.
Kelly ( am I right xd) I really love you all of your videos are average 20 min and full of thoughts and information and you are really sincere and friendly :) just thank you , you helped me a lot keep making videos and have a nice day
I keep getting the queen of cups (or ghosts which is the same thing) every single time I touchmy decks. if i do a spread i get it but even when i decide to choose one card to meditate on or answer a question i get the same card. Is it time for change or what?)0(
this is great advice Kelly Anne. I'm new to Tarot. I've always been interested in it and just recently bought my 1st deck. I have 2 other decks but they were gifted to me so they were not necessarily my choice...don't get me wrong I love them and they resonate but too advanced for me right now. I bought a basic deck.. "Beginners Guide to Tarot: Juliet Sharman-Burke" (illustrated by Giovanni Caselli). I will take your advice and do 1 card a week study. Bless up sista' and lots of love your way
So why do so many people keep writing Tarot meaning books?.lolI get what your saying , so why not have 78 random picture cards and just use intuition on those? I guess I am defending the originator of the cards to have her/his their symbolic meanings discarded. It is like playing football but now using the rules of snooker, tennis and a recipe for carrot cake applied.:) Do you ever go to readings and other Tarot readers saying why have you described a card like the Emperor to be happy go lucky?
I love the subjectivity which is permitted and the fact that it's a tool which vibes so well with intuition and in fact helps to strengthen it.
