I like the extra explanations and evaluations you always make.

I have used mine in some very wet weather, never let me down yet. 👍
Seems a solid piece of kit
That's a fine looking tarp buddy
Cheers man, seems solid
Nice camo pattern!
That's my fav configuration - the diamonnd / plough point - even after hearing the "experts" opinion I was not convinced about the lean-to.
I use a much smaller tarp (being old and past my athletic age) - the T6-zero - and I love it!
I usualy bring 2... when at site I mount one, if I go scouting I have another with me (I see redundancy this way...there is no point of having 2 knives in your backpack if you have to ditch it you loose both). I have a olive for winter and a brown for summer, the one with me is orange (you get the point)! Anyways, if I have to camp in a non-permissive environment I can put my sniper's veil over the orange tarp!
Stay well, keep safe!
Keep well
Nice, cheers man

...thank-you!
That tarps a definite DD killer at the price, matching hammock is tempting too.
If I was into hammocks I'd get it
@@RedBranchBushcraft pretty sure I'll be adding both to basket soon lol :-) 👍
Nice one
cool, it took me a while to get around to watching this, but Thanks a lot for answering my question about if it's blackout :)
No problem
@@RedBranchBushcraft :)
Used one of these last night of a bit of hammock camping. I liked the blackout side and seems to be well made except for the carry bag. I suppose only time will tell about the quality, but so far so good. Great video!
Thanks Ed I'm impressed so far , I usually throw mine in a dry bag so the crappy bag is not Ann issue
I have the same tarp. I’m using it Saturday for the first time.
I’ll let ye know how I get on. If it bothers you,a bit of strategically placed gorilla tape will sort it out.
Good stuff,mate.
Regards.
Let me know how you get on
@@RedBranchBushcraft Hi Wooly.
Hope your well.
Finally used this the night before last.
It chucked it down, but it worked great.
Kept me dry. I used it in a sort of a box configuration.
Kept me and my kit dry.
Stay well.
Great job, did it feel like you were in a cave?
@@RedBranchBushcraft No.
A dark wood.

@@RedBranchBushcraft There is a hammock too, mate, of the same furtive design, but I’m sure you have seen it.
Thanks bro 🤙
If your having issues give me a pm , I can always one to here and ship it on

What were they thinking with those attachment points! The perfect stealth tarp completely ruined by some designer trying to be clever.
Lol
It's only 6 inches out of square. One side is six inches shorter than the other so that's not much.
It's fine, you just have to rejig it a bit
One of the selling points in the manufacturer's literature is the differential spacing of the tie outs to facilitate a wider range of pitches. Failing that just use a tarp clip!! Or a pebble and cord. Mainly just enjoy experimenting and using it.
Exactly buddy, thanks
Using a rectangular is not ideal for any configuration that requires staking from corner to corner or a diamond type of setup such as is the case with an Adirondack configuration. A rectangular will work for some diamond types of setups, it's just that the sides won't all be the same length. A rectangular tarp will work just as well as a square tarp for a tarp tent configuration, it's just that it will be deeper. I've used both square and rectangular tarps for this tarp tent configurations and find that they both work equally well for that configuration. A rectangular tarp simply allows for you to have a deeper tent from front to rear, but other than that, for all intents and purposes one is not better than the other for that configuration.
Cheers buddy
Not sure I am liking the blackout, the more I see it the less it seems a good idea to me. Unless I were in certain situations that I would rather avoid in the first place that is!
It's very dark, when it's more open it's no issue
