Purslane is one of the plants you could take hundreds of cuttingsoff just 1 basket. They root without a rooting hormone this time of year. Pro Tip: feed your basket and wait 4 or 5 days for the plant to move it throughout the plant. On most plants, it speeds rooting and you will have less loss
Thank you for this video. I live in Fort Worth and am a beginner. I have managed to kill every vegetable and flower I have touched this summer. Even the wildflowers got a half inch and stopped growing. I will try to visit this place.
It’s tough in the beginning but please be assured that every dead plant teaches you another lesson or tip … you will get better and better … it took me a good three years to start seeing some success.
Thanks for the walk thru! I have been wondering what they have now. I’m have a gift card I’m dying to use but trying to wait until it gets cooler. I’ve been looking at the dark sweet potato vines. At Lowes and Home Depot the small pots are $6.98! I like that variegated variety! That’s a deal on the gallon coleus too. Those are $12.98 at other stores. I’m obsessed with them this year. Oh I need that lemon sedum! Yes, Mexican petunias, great spreader. I’m looking for a light pink coneflower. Mine died. ☹️ Good deal on the cannas. Might have to try that hardy plumbago! That hanging basket was amazing! 100% agree it is a great place to shop. Guess I’ll be going soon now! 🤣 Can’t wait to see your selections!!!

I’d like to go sometime:) Thank you for talking about the different plants & sharing this nursery w/ us. What’s your secret to growing pentas? Mine will shrivel up in a pot.

Mine like morning sun and a little afternoon shade and I keep them well watered with drip lines.
