The reason the sound is different when revving as opposed to while riding is because it has cylinder deactivation while sitting in neutral or at a stop light which cuts two of the front cylinders to try and keep the heat down. Congrats on the bike man can’t wait to ride it when I come visit!
Little mate of mine just bought one and been waiting for 6 months for it to arrive. He gets it this week coming, he so excited. The only concern is that he's not experience in super sport bike like this. His 28 years old as for me I'm 50 and ridden all my life with history push it and coming off. Shore I'm so much more relaxed these days. I ride Zx1400r Kawasaki that's more toward longer trip. These bikes are so beautiful and studying the mapping of this bike. Can't imagine after upgrads eg, aftermarket pipes and others. Dino run turn. Be a weapon.
That will be interesting. I was excited about the V4R and considering swapping out but it was a bit underwhelming and I think the SP2 might work better for me. A bit of a shame how they held the V4R announcement back to coincide with the FIM announcing the increase in the price they can charge. 🙈
Great video. And yes like stated in the video with proper maintenance and attention to detail on all of the brands of motorcycles they will operate a very Dependable way period from my 11 99 12 99 and both of my V4 bikes have been flawless
That SP2 is absolutely beautiful, I'd say more beautiful than the Superleggera in my opinion with that winter test livery. I've been waiting for this video.
I’ve got one of these and I’m currently looking at exhaust and wheel options so I can save the originals when I take it on the track (I don’t fancy paying to replace the Superleggera wheels if I have an off), so I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you do with this!
I don't think it is a must. It was never an issue to begin with, yes it does get hot, but it isn't unrideable. Just gives people to complain about. Definitely improved over the 2021 V4 for sure.
