    to tie the thread at the start and finish, 'then gluing the thread at the finish
    and the little alignment cuts

    There are some people only dedicated to disqualify the work of someone without providing a minimum. I think the right thing would be to give an opinion about what seems wrong or demonstrate with facts instead of 'clicking' in a nonsense way.
    I want to note all of these videos are free and aimed to people who only is really interested in learning something.

      Amen! Too much judgement. There are several different methods of doing things. When it comes to sewing, others may opt to do it differently. If their method works for them, fine. If they think their method is superior, they should demonstrate it. This allows the viewer different methods to try and see what works best for them. Frankly, I don't see how anyone could create such a crisp corner any other way. What you've demonstrated here is, in my opinion, is the best way to sew crisp and clean square corners.
      Like you, I can not understand the negativity. To complain about a free instructional tutorial is beyond arrogant and rude.
      I thank you for taking the time to film, edit, and post your amazing work and skills. In addition to showing the best way to achieve beautiful corners, you've also demonstrated different thread patterns. Again, free of charge. Bravo..
      Thank you so very much for your assistance. Do you have a website for placing orders? Are you in the US or ship to the US?
      Cheers from Seattle!

    Thank you so much for this video!!!!!! I've used it several times to make some square pieces. I honestly have almost no experience sewing but I made two washing machine covers and bench cover using your technique. The washing machine cover that you helped me make already saved me a ton because someone put a bucket of water with a crack in it on the top of the machine so the water leaked but it only pooled on the cover. You are very clear in your instruction and your work is clearly professional!

      Great, you have made a cover for your washing machine! I did mine a few years ago.
      It has been more than 7 years and the machine is well preserved. I used 'binding' all around the seams instead. Something like this cover for my sewing machine: th-cam.com/video/cEE5np14daw/w-d-xo.html

    This is great. I just purchased an industrial sewing machine. I'm already good at woodworking small boxes, and with this knowledge; I could be making some really incredible items. @@Cechaflo So I notice you're a Pfaff fan. I know this is a loaded question, but can you recommend a used machine for 1K or less, whether Juki, Consew, Pfaff, Sailrite? For a beginner? Thank you!

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@treelogicllc9167 The trade marks you have mentioned are ok to start the upholstery craft. All of them are good and a used machine in good condition does not go beyond 1000 US Dollars.. It should be a 'walking foot/triple transportation' sewing machine with its respective reverse lever. These machines are 'heavy duty' and as a beginner we should do an effort to get one.

    Wow! Amazing. I stitching is straight and beautiful. I have a bit of sewing skill, and I do have a very nice machine sitting in the closet. Your project is just what I need to make a cover for my bicycle trailer. I could then attach the cover around the sides of the trailer with snaps. I guess I'll be getting machine out and start expanding into yet another skill-set area. Thanks for posting. So cool.

    I am building a custom motorcycle rear seat for my wife, and though there are no 90 deg corners, there are multiple pieces that I will have to be matching up. This video was helpful getting me to think through the process more efficiently. Thanks much!

    Another very helpful video!!! I struggled so much with the seat cushions I made for our retro RV trailer as the last corner would always have too much material due to the stretching of material as it was being sewn. If I would have done this method, my cushions would have been perfect instead of having one weird looking corner we had to then hide in the back or under a pillow.... LOL! Another skill I have learned from your video...
