- Today I have an older Star Wars Hot Toys Darth Maul Figure in the house! This one came out a while ago but does it still hold up in 2022?? Let's find out!

Very nice review! You might know by now, but that one gauntlet isn’t broken, it’s made to split open to use with the LED lightsaber arms so you can just latch it on after you already have the arms plugged into he socket 👍🏼
I have it and it is very cool. I was disappointed, however, in the dark shade of red that they used for the face-paint; it should be bright red. Hot Toys definitely improved on this when they made Solo Maul.

Awesome unboxing and review! What collection is complete without Maul! In my collection I have Maul from the end of Solo. Really like the two head sculps that it comes with it, adds more character to the figure! It looks really good side-by-side to Qui-gon. Really need the Obi-wan padawan figure to go with them both. Sick pickup!
Are you getting the 2.0? 3:47 this is not broken, it's meant to be split for using with the light up arm so you heave easy access to the switch.

I agree Darth maul battle is the high point of fantom menace and i really appreciated the pod race , make it easer to swallow Jar Jar lol

Do you prefer this over the Solo series Maul?
Yes I do. Not that the solo series maul looks bad either. I just like everything that this comes with and he has more articulation in the legs with this one

Thanks for the review. I’m personally not into the figures and statues unless the character is wearing a helmet. With the current molding technology, faces don’t do it for me yet. This Darth Maul is one of the few exceptions, and it’s probably because his face is tattooed.
That Darth maul looks good but it don't have enough portraits to make it look really good and customizable because the two that it has just doesn't do it for me.
