Omg, you just made my internet connection go from 17 mbps to 90 mbps, thanks a lot.
People really be complaining about getting 40 mbps. Here i am on the daily with max 5mbps and 700 latency
I’m the same sometimes kbps
I'm on 600 Mbps but run 20 ish ping in game and idk why
My mates be getting 200 Mbps and get 0 ping
Because if you’re paying for 1 Gbps & you’re only getting 40 Mbps then you have every right to complain
Same bro some times I get lower
Changing the port seemed to help for me. The best port wasn’t the last one though, I tested all of them twice. Managed to go from 40 to 20 latency.
What was the port that worked for you?
I don't understand... I have Fiber internet with speeds of 500 upload & download. But when I check my speeds on xbox, the speeds don't go higher than 95 download & 75 upload
That’s exactly what is happening to me! I even have the same speeds as you… And I don’t understand😅
@@hyuqie_ I figured the problem... It's the ethernet cables. If you look on the cables, they have a CAT# on them. Depending on the wire, some have limited speeds. CAT1 through CAT5 will never go higher than 100mbps. So I bought a CAT6 wire, which speeds are up to 1000 mbps, and now my xbox speeds are what they are supposed to be. Cause I have 500mbps up/down internet... and now that is what my xbox gives me. So I recommend you check your ethernet cable, and look what kind of CAT# yours are.
You are the Man! I checked mine and switched it out and it worked... I have FIOS Fiber optic and my Xbox X is blazing fast.
If you have a Gigabit Internet switch (mine is NETGEAR GS605) in between your router and device make sure you unplug this device also, then plug it back in and restart Xbox everything should now work. 👍
You're on 2.4 instead of 5g
@@goranmarjanovic1401 no, it has nothing to do with that. It was my ethernet cable I was using that was the problem. I didn't know that there were different types/speeds of wires... I thought they were all the same. But I uograded to a Cat6 wire and my speeds are what they are supposed to be now.
This didn't change my speed much at all but it was worth the try. Thanks!!!
Thank you! That worked for me perfectly, speeds went from around 100mbps to up to 500mbps.
My ISP told me IPv6 was for business accounts only. How did you get your ISP to set it to 4 and 6, just call them and they did it?
Very helpful been struggling with this for a while!! ❤
Glad I could help! ❤🎉
I didn't think I could get above 1000 on download but to my surprise this did the trick. 😊
It works perfectly. My speed went up from 120/150 to 500/600 Mb/s
Mine went from 33mbs to 34mbps. Which isnt alot but it also went from 116 lantency down to 68 which is pretty good. An wirless strength went from 50% to 66%
Might have to give some of this a go sometime. My Series X has always been very slow for downloads, yet the PS5 downloads at or near maximum speed all the time, and I've never touched any settings like that in it. :p
It made my download speed higher, but it didn’t make my upload speed any higher. Idk what to do there, I’m trying to get better upload speed for streaming. Nothings worked, please help me.
I have been having the same problem
Get better WiFi, hardline also
That does not work @@Mr.taco658
need the expansion card for that not a portable hhd
Thanks it helped a lot. 🎉❤
nice u r back man
You know it!!
Bro i love u i just did it and it says open my NAT type New suscriber
Did not know about the Manual port thing. Thank you!
You’re welcome bro!
Thank you so much it went from 25 to 105
It made my latency go up just barely but it made my download speed go up a lot
Why people complaining about 30+ mbps i have below 5 because spanish internet is trash. I cant even use xbox remote play because of it there is too much delay
Yo thanks man
I just got my series s and it literally wont go above 40mbps....
Is your issue solved
I’m having to same
@@barewaliaboy249I fixed it but it only lasted for a few minutes
Nothing works am only staying around 60 - 75 no higher than that any other ways to do it pls respond
I Know I don’t need it okay but why I’m I gettin 1100 for download and only 650 for upload it’s supposed to match is xbox limited on upload for some reason? When I run a test on my router it’s 1100 or so for download and upload
I have the same question but no one seems to have the answer smh
I believe it’s because you’re having to share your speed with devices and probably also distance from server. I have fiber 1gb and the most I got was 1gb down 700 upload and my box is 8 inches from my console. I’m going to upgrade to 2gb to see how the Xbox does then I’ll know more
@@kennethlohrey4883 thank you for the response, the thing is that I disconnect all devices to get a true speed test an still the up is 700 same as your's an 1100 for the down. But I run a speed test on my pc its 924 down and up . Its really nothing to complain about tho it's just curiosity
Wait mbps is mena to be high? My download mbps 24.98 upload speed mbps 11.01 latency 325 mtu 1480 packet loss 0%
Thanks😊
Not sure if it helped my connection 😂 so weird though as I’ve got EE WiFi 7 with 500 mbps and I run a speed test on my phone and it’s at about 510 but the Xbox doesn’t seem to get more than 220 ish. And it will randomly just drop to as low as 1 or 2 mbps for a few mins then shoot back up 😂 so frustrating
My latency is staying between 80 and 120, even after this. Any other ideas?
My download speed is 0.47 upload 0.59 lat is 54 is that bad ?
Worked a dream was getting 50mbs now getting 70
This really worked? Where are you?
Have a question and I'm kinda new at this WiFi mesh thing, i got the deco 20, came with 3 nodes, got one plugged into the router, and put one next to my Xbox x, is there a way to have the Xbox x only recognize the node right next to it?
Late... but yes. There's a "connection preference" tab when choosing your Xbox on the deco app.
do yk how to change 5gh to 2.4ghz
2.4 is worse than 5gh
the Google DNS port settings decreased Latency by 5
all of the other suggestions increased Latency by 5-30
I pay for 2GB internet, nothing i do gets me above 800mbps down and like 150mpbs up.. I always have 50ms latency. This freakin sucks.
What song is that in the background
Sunset by lukrembo (says if u click more below title)
Yeah id take a guess its mainly the port cause my download went from 20-30 to 150-160
Life savor fr
Appreciate ya!
170mbs to 210mbs, it works.
What internet provider do you have?
BT Broadband I’m from UK 🇬🇧
@@ItsClements ohh
I have bt and I get 200+ download speed
I can confim that this was indeed helpful. I never met an assuie i dont trust with my life
Thank you so much
You're most welcome brother! ❤
I have super fast 1gb Internet but get 180s download on games
Sweet az pie bro
thnks bro as trying sort my internet dose that code do all uk
Happy to help mate, DNS codes vary based on your location. A quick google can help you determine which DNS code is best for you and your network connection.
I have starlink and get 200+ download/20+ upload.. but my upload is capped at 3-6Mbps upload.. help?
I guessing thats bandwidth but with the actual through put is lower with all the traffic on the network and the latency from hopping from routers/cell towers its hops some how but different sense its starlink and not setup like a normal network so the hops might be longer
@fety6320 I think it's because theirs no data centers in canada or something all main servers are in the US I think
@@ashtonthypoo excatly so it takes longer to hop
220mb/s now thanks❤❤❤
Worked for midwest usa
as the code i look for dNS is for united states
LONG TIME NO UPLOAD
I know, I know. 😭
Went from 35mbps to 235 thanks
Sorry 253
Funciona en cualquier ubicación?
Download speed 13.27
Upload Speed 4.50
Am I cooked?
You are lucky i used to get 1mbit of download and even less of upload
I just shut off your video because you kept yapping
@@Vacation-family-p8d thank you for the engagement! Comments etc it all really helps me pay the bills! ❤️🤝
I get 81ms latency
Is it bad that my download speed is 187 but my upload speed is 2.31? I think the upload speed is the problem for me.
That is a ridiculously low upload speed buddy unfortunately however upload speeds don’t really contribute to anything when it comes to gaming. As long as you have great download (which you do) and a low latency you’re all good. Hope this helps. 👍
@@ItsClements that’s kinda weird because my latency is at 32 which should be good and my NAT type is open, but it still lags
Eyyyy broo
Yoooo!
hi pal you from uk anychance
Yes mate, I am.
went from 80 to 40
