Anyone else keep getting the boomerang ragdoll glitch. It's so annoying. U know when you are either choked or pushed and it sends you backwards and forwards
Oh yeah, happens loads. It’s so frustrating because you know you’re the only one experiencing it in that instance and it puts you at a disadvantage, which you’re already in.
parker enright you can sneak in a few parrys but it completely drains your stamina. It’s better than before though since you can actually do something against the team when they swing spam.
Ya also I realized that the new players are scared to push objectives in galactic assault and the game is over in the first phase. I'm glad there is more players but it's annoying to play the game when the new players are not good yet😬
parker enright i am one of those people who don’t really push objectives but I’m not new. I just want kills or explore the map. I’m pretty sure the new players are the same I don’t think anyone is scared of a few deaths or pushing the objective. The objective also takes away a lot of fun too. The match will end fast if you just play the objective.
Tip for the assault class: When playing the El-16-HFE, don't hold down the fire button since that chnages the recoil pattern. Instead use it as some sort of dmr and spam the fire button. You will have almost no recoil!
Oh my gosh clueless teammates are the worst! I’m really good at the game so I get cocky and go into 1v4’s, Times that I can’t handle myself I’ll be fighting 3 to 4 people for like a minute straight and realize that my team is nowhere to be found, and I get so mad like what the hell could they possibly be doing???
youngknowledgeseeker same, one time I was in a 1v4 for like 5 minutes cause all my teammates must’ve been in a party cause they were just messing around somewhere else on the map, I was vader though and he’s the easiest to 1v4
I think they’re all good except Yoda. Yoda is just so slow on his first hit which is the most important hit. His parry is terrible because of this. It’s like you must spam with him.

I’m having some issues with perfect partying, I’m doing the same, thing, holding block then tapping attack when the lightsabers make contact, I even hit the opponent, yet I still take damage, does this mean I’m doing it a little too early? Great vid btw keep it up with the great tips.
Make sure you're not doing what I was doing. Do NOT let off the block button to attack. Not sure about you but it was getting me wrecked. Hold block while you hit the attack. Do not let off the block button.

Tips for when in a 1v2 situation because of toxic players ganging up. 1st: Always keep them in front of you, 2nd: get a height difference between you, when they jump down or up the use one of your abilities (they can’t block) it may be pesky but fight fire with fire, 3rd: if your teammate is still alive try to regroup with them, 4th: you can parry 2 enemies at once but one of them will get some damage on you. 5th: doge backward so you can hit both of them with your ability. I dunno if this is helpful but there you go.
Had to figure out the perfect parry from watching a Star video with highlights and seeing him doing that. When I saw it I though - oh yeah - definitely have to master this
For duels as light side, rey is a good choice because using Mind Trick + Insight, then dashing behind them and striking them can do a big deal of damage. They cant turn around from the Mind Trick, so you can easily get a few hits from the back. Also some star cards boost the duration and damage of it so there's a guaranteed kill.
I love fighting spammers when using dooku because with his duelist and expose weakness ability and with the right star cards you can three hit any hero and kill them.
I guess the parry system wasn’t completely removed as most were thinking, I’ll have to try it out for myself because as of late my Mains have been Rey, Luke, Kylo and Vader, so trying out the party system will be fun 😂
now there is another thing I personally use is that you quickly dash behind your opponent and hit them and then dodge away, its quite effective against swing spammers
Another good tip for stamina is that when you don't have any stamina and your abilities are on recharge, dash and jump all over the place and deactivate your lightsaber. Stamina recharges slightly faster when your lightsaber is deactivated, and dashing and jumping prevents your enemy from being able to hit you.
Count Dooku with Duelist active is super easy to parry when going against him. I've had so many instances where a Duelist Count Dooku spams the shit out of my block, I parry every hit, and he gets melted in 3secs.

It’s a win loss with the parrying situation, like part of me doesn’t want all these people out here parrying because before it used to feel special actually seeing another skilled player using it, but at the same time I’m glad it’s getting out there because now it’ll push more people actually have good duels instead of lightsaber spamming or the ability spam
@@Joe_Friday when u hit them dodge back, and make sure u use ur dodges to get behind them, u have to be creative. And if u have a high sensitivity you'll will need to turn fast cause If they dodge behind u just turn around because they will most likely attack, so u will need to be ready to parry. Another thing is that when they have very low stamina u need to be rlly aggresive cause they wont be able to parry and if they try they will just get rid of the little stamina they had left. Boom easy win everytime. If u want to see examples I post 1v1s on my channel all the time. I'm going to post one where the guy parrys today
As a day one player tip number 6 was the only one I didn’t know about. I think a dueling video on tips and tricks of little movements like that would help a lot.
Tip: Know your heroes. For example, a lot of Count Dooku users fluke their Lightning Stun, because they dont know the range of it which not only wastes one of their abilities but opens themselves to attack. If you learn your heroes you can fight with them better, and defeat enemies using them too.
I love it when you are against a newer player who doesnt know about parry and he swingspams you and is about to get obliterated but he realizes that something is wrong and then backs up before dying, trying to figure out what just happened. Some players message me right afterwards, asking how i did it and most of them are really nice guys i end up playing with.

another good tip about parrying abilities is that when grievous uses thrust surge if you block the thrust you can squeeze two lightsaber strikes between his next attack
This really helped me, I just won a 1v2 against Luke and Anakin. 2-3 strike rule is very important and the counter strikes are helpful aswell, I also dash to the side and turn my camera on my enemy and when he is defenseless I use freeze or pull.

Something that I see most people do not know is that you can parry melee attacks and the commando droids vibro sword attack. This is a good tip against those annoying commando droid spammers.
I find the parry system to be broken. It is 0 risk 100 reward and just supports block spamming. Most swing spammers are sloppy so dodging behind them works perfectly fine but doesn’t work 100% of the time.

I would suggest Kylo Ren/Dooku/Vader-in that order (phasma for shooting) or Rey/Obi-wan/Luke(leia for shooting) to start out with and build them up for complete beginners.

Before coming to watch this i was learning the parry move. I added dodging as they attack and swing on them. There was a maul spamming the throw as he lead us out of the caves on the map with the huts. Thats the only way he killed me the whole game.
Would be great if they had a party chat for heroes and villains.. always noticing people split up a lot.. I’m guilty of that and get taken down by 3 players at the same time..
1. Hold block 2. Wait for opponent to attack 3. When *immediately* hearing the clash sound press the attack button Your attack with go through and they will take damage, you will take none.
Still think they should change the Saber meta making it more to like for honor and outcast but it feels a little heavy like if your fighting another hero it’s gonna be it’s own mini game

yeah your timing is slightly off, watch the rey vs kylo clip on jabbas palace, if you time it right you can do it multiple times without taking damage

If you wanna have some fun parrying swing spammers I'd suggest playing obi-wan with his stamina cards maxed

i try not to jump too much because it leaves you at risk of force abilities but dashing is very good

I parry all the time, and when another good player does it, it is very easy to counter it. Honestly it's not that special if u know what you're doing

I would suggest Kylo Ren/Dooku/Vader-in that order (phasma for shooting) or Rey/Obi-wan/Luke(leia for shooting) to start out with and build them up for complete beginners.

Do you have any tips on how to survive 1v2’s, seeing as ppl can be pretty toxic, even when you make it abundantly clear you want a 1v1, they team on you.
Joe The Playa I known the feeling. 1st: Always keep them in front of you, 2nd: get a height difference between you, when they jump down or up the use one of your abilities (they can’t block) it may be pesky but fight fire with fire, 3rd: if your teammate is still alive try to regroup with them, 4th: you can parry 2 enemies at once but one of them will get some damage on you. 5th: doge backward so you can hit both of them with your ability. I dunno if this is helpful but there you go

A parry is a sword movement to move a sword attack away from you, then you counter attack, or "riposte."
So the most accurate name for the technique you're talking about in BF2 is a "parry riposte."
Add the jump slash thing when you can damage people by jumping through them and swinging

Before coming to watch this i was learning the parry move. I added dodging as they attack and swing on them. There was a maul spamming the throw as he lead us out of the caves on the map with the huts. Thats the only way he killed me the whole game.

Would be great if they had a party chat for heroes and villains.. always noticing people split up a lot.. I’m guilty of that and get taken down by 3 players at the same time..

Have you tried Luke's force push in to a rash in to repolse and finish with rash to kill or to run
1. Hold block
2. Wait for opponent to attack
3. When *immediately* hearing the clash sound press the attack button
Your attack with go through and they will take damage, you will take none.

Still think they should change the Saber meta making it more to like for honor and outcast but it feels a little heavy like if your fighting another hero it’s gonna be it’s own mini game
For some reason I can never land parry’s. It always gets cancelled out or I take damage and lose major stamina. Suggestions?
What about when you get tripled team? What about when you you are blocking and stamina starts to drain?
2 years later I have perfected the perfect parry
