Great video! Not a lot of people have the guts to show a project online from start to finish like you have. The box is beautiful. You edited the video well, so it goes at a nice pace. Happy to see somebody else who is relentless about masking the wood and and wiping the glue to avoid having to scrape it off later. Bravo!

Very nice box and great tips on how to hold a piece under the CNC. I just started with a CNC, actually two of them and things like this video actual TEACH, not brag. I think there was about 4 things that I will try tomorrow when I'm back in my workshop to fix an issue I was having in my learning process. I look forward to see other videos by you. Thanks for posting. Very attractive box. You may not know that the indigenous people of the north west coasts of Canada and Alaska were making ‘bent boxes’ with this method from cedar for hundreds if not thousands of years. They were also clever enough to retain a thin outside layer of wood at the corners so that three of the 4 corners were seamless on the outside. Modern woodworkers don’t seem to do this.
