Minolta doesn't own Minolta now for many years. So saying its been around for years and years is wrong. It was around for years and years but sold out a long time ago and the new company they kept the name but not the build. Not the same Minolta when we were younger but it's still a good camera for the price. I don't believe this camera goes down to 60ft as he was stating in the video in water I believe it's 16ft which is fine. We have a bunch of cruises coming up so I just ordered one. Will see how it holds up. I don't wana keep using my phone to video or take a chance of losing my phone or leaving it somewhere at least if I loose this I'm out $188 if I loose my new 24 ultra I'm out $1,200. So update: just received it i Wish it came with a lens cover cap had to go buy one and the case is way too small only holds the camera not the charger nor the USB cords and if you buy an extra battery you'll definitely need a bigger Cary case. The blue is very nice. Also wish it had auto focus for zoom in or just moving around. So if your up close it's a total blur but I don't do much macro recording. Will see how it holds up. I have 30 days to return it if it's not what I want.
