    VIDEO DESCRIPTION
    I've been test riding street and touring bikes for the past year looking for the motorcycle that has the perfect balance between exciting performance and the best possible comfort and reliability for touring all day long and be within a reasonable price range. In that pursuit, I rode the Yamaha Tracer 9GT, Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro and BMW F900XR and found one of them to be closer to perfection than others.

      @@RiderXp Thank you. The bikes I like are the Cb500x and the nc750x as beginner friendly all rounder, maybe I can find some video on these in your archive.

      @kaiserrazzaq6865 Yes, here’s the one with a CB500X in it :
      th-cam.com/video/do_UIIl_Xh4/w-d-xo.html
      And this one has the NC750:
      th-cam.com/video/_A6_W6BoEFY/w-d-xo.html
      I recently test rode over 50 bikes and lot of those are beginner friendly. Will be making videos about those in months to come.

    I’ve got a 22 Tracer 9 GT. Love it! The more I ride it the more I want to ride it. It’s been years since I had a bike that I want to ride in the cold or rain.
    As far as looks, when I got it I thought the same, it’s different, the longer I own it the more I love the looks. It’s the kind of bike you love it more the longer you own it I think.
    As far as heat I don’t think it’s to bad. I had a Thunderstroke. It was a blast furnace 😂😂

    I have owned the BMW f900XR and Tracer GT. The BMW F900XR was a comfortable motorcycle , but the engine was that of a tractor with lackluster performance . The F900XR after 3000 miles the water pump went spraying the undercarriage with coolant.. The dealer picked up the BMW to do the repairs. I Had to wait 8 weeks for a water pump from BMW. According the the dealership, there wasn't one waterpump in the US and had to get one from Germany. For that reason I will never get another BMW. The Tracer is a great motorcycle. It is the best sport tourer in its class. The engine and chassis work perfect together. I will say my only complaint on the Tracer is the windscreen. Overall a great motorcycle. I was considering the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. I am a big fan of Triumph motorcycles. It was a hard choice to decide on either the Tracer or Rally Pro. But realistically, the Tracer is more suitable for the type of riding that I will be doing. If you plan on doing any off roading then by all means get the Tiger. Either way you can't go wrong.

      Thank you for sharing your ownership experience and helping others in the community. The Tracer engine is indeed the most engaging of them all. I was expecting to love it because of my XSR experience but the very tweaks that make that platform more touring worthy, made it unattractive to me. I'm glad I rode it before buying one. The Tiger was surprising the most wholesome experience even though I've never really been interested in Triumph ADV/Touring designs. My only apprehension is the heating issue which I am yet to find a satisfactory solution to.

    Great video. I’ve been considering the Triumph 900 Gt Pro, and stepping down from a 1200 Triumph Explorer. Love the Explorer but at 74 I would like to lighten up my ride. Your comment on the heat will have me test the 900 Gt on a hot day. Thanks again!

    • @RiderXp
      @RiderXp  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I was exaggerating for humor but the heat is definitely perceivable. I suspect that tuning these engines to meet tougher emissions standards has something to do with the heat because I’ve been noticing that in a lot of bikes lately. Good luck and tip of my hat to you sir for continuing to ride, I hope i can too.

    Great video, nicely done. Wonder if I’ve ridden with you on a CFST group ride (Solomon’s Castle), maybe a month or two back? You were one of the quicker riders 😀. I’ve been looking for a middle weight touring back and have really been looking at these 3 bikes and your video was perfect! I lean toward the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT +, but all the rider intervention concerns me. The Triumph is a better looking bike to me, but I don’t love the idea of a 19” front wheel. I can’t see any reason to strongly consider the BMW, mainly because the reviews I’ve read and watched, people don’t love it. I need to go test ride the tracer and the tiger, I’ve got a short inseam as well so 32” will be a stretch so that’s a concern as well.

    • @RiderXp
      @RiderXp  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I was on the Solomon’s Castle Ride with Malangz and some Ducati riders. That’s where I shot the Tracer 9GT test ride. What a small world. I had the same reservation about the 19” front wheel but interestingly, it didn’t impact my confidence tipping into turns. I do like the Tracer for a Sport tourer feel but since I own the same engine in my XSR900, the electronic intrusion with semi-active suspension, the longer wheel base and dampened power delivery made me reconsider my touring bike choice (I was seriously considering the Tracer for my next bike before I rode it) At the moment, my 2 favorite touring bikes are the Tiger 900GT & Vstrom 800RE (standard in US)

    Great video!! 3 of 4 bikes I consider to upgrade from my CB500X. Another one in my list is NT1100 which is in the 1000+cc territory. But surprisingly it is the cheapest bike out of this 4.

    Another great vid! I'm looking at the Tracer 9 GT, I think all it needs for me is a bar riser because I'm not comfortable with the forward lean. I could see that getting tiresome quickly.

    I wonder how the new V100 Mandelo would compete with this group. Maybe it's not a true touring bike like this lot, but Moto Guzzi do claim it's a sports tourer. It certainly looks better than any of these bikes...by a long shot.

      @RiderXp  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I rode it. You can check my video bro. Otherwise I own a Tracer 9 and you can check the playlist that I have. I also test rode the BMW F900xr, but never any Triumph. :) The Guzzi V100 is a very special bike and if you are under 6ft 1, you will enjoy it a lot in my opinion. Drop by to check my content. :)

  • @dumptrump3788

    The BMW F900XR base price is "low", but to get it up to the spec of the Tracer 9GT it costs WAY more! The Tracer 9GT isn't perfect, the seat is truly awful & the screen is even worse. Both problems can be fixed, something you can't do with the BMW's problems. The Tiger is great, but a bit more expensive than the Tracer, but you dog et better controls & instruments.

    • @RiderXp
      @RiderXp  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s a fair assessment. No wonder Tracer is the most popular of the 3 and justified an upgraded Trim. I just hope Yamaha continues the GT trim for people who do not need the GT+ frills.
