After watching this tutorial, I went back to my saved videos and counted thirty-two of yours that I frequently make or refer to, because it's lovely to watch and listen to you, and you make it feel like lets get this project started! You're calm and confident, which inspires that in your viewers, in my opinion. Thank you 😊😊😊
What also thrills me is that my yarn art ends up looking like YOURS when I finish, which means I followed your directions, watched how you did it, and ta-da...I did it! You also explain why you're doing what you illustrate, and give choices on how to finish. A true teacher allows the student to succeed in their own way. Brava!🎉
Robin, your work is always gorgeous & every stitch is meticulously done. I know I've told you this before, but I believe in telling people when they are doing a great job or making a difference. I appreciate your tutorials so much, since having a brain injury I can get easily confused. Never am I lost or confused with your tutorials. You are clear visually & in explaining the process. I don't know if you realize what that has meant to me. At a time when I felt useless, trying to relearn things & find my new normal after my TBI & body injuries, you helped me get some joy & confidence back. Crochet & even your tutorials are part of my ongoing brain therapy that helps me with processing. It also helps me daily to manage the sometimes debilitating anxiety & PTSD brought on from my accident. Now that I can make some of these beautiful creations with your help & actually gift them to people, my confidence continues to grow. So know that for many people your efforts are greatly appreciated & your videos are so much more than what you realize. With all of my heart, I thank you! 🩷😊
After many, and I mean MANY, failed attempts at the c2c Moss Stitch I nearly gave up until I ran across your video. It was a lifesaver and it all clicked for me. I'm currently working on a full size blanket for a co-worker as a housewarming gift. I know she'll love it as it's nice and warm, especially since I'm already at the halfway point and about to begin the decrease. Thank you so much!
Lovely patterns and lovely explanations make a lovely great teacher!!! You were born to give your art as a gift and I feel you enjoy as much as we do!! Allways grateful, Robin!!🌹🧶🙋🏻♀️🇦🇷
i was splitting my stiches. i took for granted that i knew what i was doing and over looked the obvious. thank you for spelling it out for me, i have wanted to make this style of blanket for years.
This video saved me! I purchased a pattern with c2c moss stitch and I was struggling to understand the directions. I found your video and made a swatch with you. You are a wonderful teacher! As with most crochet, the going is easy if you know where to put your hook! My Indigo Sun Wrap is turning out beautiful and I could not have done it without you! Thank you!!!
This is my first ever c2c project. Decided to make a new blanket for my niece since she outgrew her other one. I really thought it would take forever being single crochet but it’s building up so much faster than I thought it would and I’ll actually be finishing it in less than a week. It takes me weeks and weeks to finish blankets!
That's exactly what I'm making! This is the reason I was looking for this stitch pattern 😊 Not a top for me of course. But for one of the younger people in my family ❤
Just love your tutorials, you explained everything, not skipping anything assuming we have that knowledge. Let’s face it, if you don’t know something, you don’t know you don’t know, that’s where most of my difficulties start!😅
Thank you for this tutorial, I've started corner to corner several times, but just couldn't get the hang of it. I like how your directions are so much clearer than what I've previously seen. I'm definitely going to have another go at it and see what happens.
Robin, I find myself seeking out your tutorials for particular stitches and design. You're easy and soothing to listen to, (crocheting is therapeutic) and visibly easy to follow..Thank you!

LUV IT, LUV IT, LUV IT!!! This one is next on the list once am finished with piecing together all the hexagons(have made....think there are sixty-two now!), for the cool blanket you taught. Great teacher, thank you!

I have watched several C2C tutorials and always found them confusing or too fiddly for my liking. I love to be able to just work a simple pattern that I can manage in my head. Your video is the first one that inspired me to try C2C! I love your calming and easy to understand style. You have gained me as a subscriber and I can't wait to see what other inspiration your channel holds.
Thank you for this tutorial. I love the regular c2c stitch now I have another c2c stitch to do for the blankets or sleep sacks that I make. Thanks Robin 🤗🤗
Hi Robin. I love this one. I have just finished crocheting this one, with Red Heart Super Saver Retro Stripes yarn. With a 6.5 mm hook. The border with a 9 mm hook, with Red Heart White/Retro Stripes. Thank you for the tutorial. ❤
Thanks for teaching this blanket 😊. I’ve heard of the c2c moss stitch, but rolled my eyes saying looks like too much, but it’s really not….thanks to your tutorial 🥰☺️
Amazing and beautiful, Robin. Thank you so much. Not only is the blanket great but great recap of increasing and decreasing for other projects. You’re a star ⭐️
I made a baby blanket with linen stitch squares and a linen stitch border very similar to the one you have here! I love the little color pops when you have one colored row between solid white rows. ❤
Lovely tutorial ❤I actually prefer to use the reccomended hook size or actually go down a half size. The reason is that I like a tighter weave so that when I wash it it doesn't get so loose as to look "gappy". I crochet with the regular Red Heart super saver and wash my blankets semi frequently 👍
I love it Robin. It's beautiful. Thank you for explaining things so well. I can see how it might become frustrating if a person tried this on their own without a tutorial. ❤❤❤❤
while i loved the look of c2c crochet i thought it was way too intimidating to learn, this tutorial is so nice and really shows how easy it can be. now i just need to get more yarn for a new blanket project because apparently 2 isn't enough 😅
I love this for a blanket. I was given about 1kg of sock yarn which I will never get thru for knitting socks. Lots of beige tones and navy. Decided I needed a lightweight wool blanket for my bedroom. It'll take some time as I'm only using 1 strand at a time. I didn't like the double stranded look. Now i have to figure out when and where colour changes will occur! Many thanks from Canada 🇨🇦
Absolutely gorgeous, I love the colours you chose, I’ve been very tempted to try the c2c but I’ve always avoided trying it until now, thanks to you I’ll give it a try. Thanks so much for making it less daunting. ❤
I've never tried a c2c cause I don't think my 75 yr old brain can do it. I just might be able to concentrate long enough to try a dish rag in a C2C. Thank you for your time and patience in doing these tutorials . I don't understand how you can remember the stitches like you do. Stay safe and keep crafting. 💕🎉🙌🧶💐😊👐🧶👍🏻

Thanks for a great tutorial, Robin! I am so going to try this - I am currently stash-busting and I think this will be the perfect project to do it with!
I have always enjoyed the look of the linen/moss stitch. It was your videos that finally got me to understand how to do this stitch. And now it is in C2C.... even better. So, if I want to keep it a square I keep increasing on both sides or is this better as a rectangle? Either way, I think I will be giving this a go quite soon. Thank you for making the stitch so easy to understand.
I'm so happy to see this, I've been wanting to do a blanket with this stitch 💙 love your tutorials, so it's easy to follow. Wish mine would be as good as yours one day 😊💛
