Drywall saw, small prybar,wire strippers, small pipe wrench. Wire ties. Maybe a small square or ruler, paint marker, pencil, plug tester and cheap Hf volt meter. Few things I have in my box when I go to someone's house

Looks pretty complete to me. I always have to load and reload my tool bag when going to my older brother's house. I think it's time to clean up my old Craftsman metal tool box and load it with it's own set of tools. Good idea and will be a time saver. Great video. Thank.
Nice. Some autobody putty will fill in the divot in the handle. Careful sanding it smooth not to go too far and wear down the beautifil patina on the rest of the handle.
I remember one of scoutcrafters videos where he cleaned up a leather bag with saddle soap and then some conditioners. Maybe that would work on that leather handle. Love that kennedy box and maybe put in some side cutters, a razor knife, and electrical tape in there. Even bailing wire, you can fix anything with electric tape and bailing wire. ( while somebody holds your beer ). Good video Tom.
I would only remove the loose rust from the leather handled estwing with a brass brush at first. Maybe you like the patinated look if there's no bad pitting.

Not a full detailed project like scoutmaster, but more like a "keep tools clean and functional" one. We don't all have the luxury of belt sanders (for now). I picked up two of those DeWalt 1/4 sets about two years ago, l gave one to my dad and the other to my teenage son… I have been searching for another for myself since only thing I find strange about it is that it has a 4.5 mm socket but not a 5.5 mm (the Gearwrench set l have contains a 5.5 mm but not a 4.5) So you might want to go through your collection and see if you have a 5.5 to toss in the box - ya never know

Honestly the smaller 7 amp works just fine for 95% of things and I like that it is compact for tight spots. The 13 amp is really only needed for thick cuts of steel where you may want more power and for where you may want to use a 6inch masonry cut off wheel for bricks. Just my opinion though.
Hi Bruce, that definitely will work to remove rust and make a big difference. With the sanders and grinders it takes out the pitting that the rust often causes in the steel.

Sanded the leather from 80 grit to 400; applied Lexol leather conditioner, as much as it wanted to absorb; paste wax buffed out.
I would add a 12 in. pipe wrench, a roll of Teflon tape, 6 and 10 in. Knipex plier wrenches, and a variety pack of nails. Nice video.

Tom why don't you put the rusty tools in a plastic tub with vinegar and let it soak then after wipe it with a paper towel. And W D 40
