Best drive mode video for Kia Stinger on TH-cam. Great job delivering pointed information in a concise format and time frame.

Eco mode saves me from hearing the wife say, "What...you have to fill up again?!!!" Thanks for the vid...quite informative.

Haha... I kinda get that too.. this car like to drink, actually even in eco mode, it's not as good as others our there. but it puts smiles on our face.. do you think I missed anything the modes change ? assuming you're a Stinger owner

@@rpmautoreviews9249 No, I think you nailed the various modes quite well. I have a 2018 GT2 AWD. As you say it's a thirsty car, I was used to getting 35mpg with my 2011 Optima EX. I think the Stinger is between 20-25mpg at best.

pretty sure there is now power difference in any of the drive modes. im not sure where you got that information. people have dyno tested them.

you saying there is NO power diff. in any of the modes or NOW ? confused... True there is NO total power, pedal to the metal difference, yes. agreed. I've done 1/4 mile runs and my sport and eco mode best run times are at a max. 0.2 sec. diff. and that's not enough to say for sure it was due to sport mode or just luck, ground, temps. etc.. but there 100% is a power difference (as I specifically state in the video) when putting the pedal 25% more or 50% down, the sport mode cranks this up to more responsive and more power if you did the same in comfort or eco mode. but when you put it FULL Throttle Baby, it just Says "O.K. I go the Fkn message" and Boom full power in any mode.. it's the in-between that the modes perform different.

@@rpmautoreviews9249 your exact words were "bit more power" power refers to horsepower/torque. changing the driver mode does not change the hp/tq. if you want to bring up quarter mile, thats fine, but i didnt say the other driver modes made the car faster or slower, changing the drive mode obviously changes certain parameters on the car, but under wot, there wont be a hp/tq difference.

    Hi
if my car is stuck in snow
which mode should i put on?
    thanks.

eco mode is your best bet. its 50 50 awd split, so the balance may help, but you should drive this on very snowy days due to the lower ground clearance.

Thanks a lot. Little question : in others TH-cam videos, i have see some Stinger has no custom mode but sport + mode? Like in the Grand Tour test (s2ep03 th-cam.com/video/WubbyA35eOc/w-d-xo.html). My car is a 2018 gt limited awd, and it has the Custom mode, like your car. did you know why some has cutom and other sport +? Thanks
