GTR once could be called a supercar killer. Now that it carries a supercar pricetag, its just a bad deal.
The gtr is about 60k too expensive for what you get

I’ve owned 2 R35 GTR‘s. I just bought a new M4 comp Xdrive convertible. Very similar performance but much better in every other way for less money.
Facts 120k LOL what are they thinking.. it looks super basic.. people would much rather prefer a Porsche or corvette.. that z is also ugly af lol
They haven't changed the look in decades but it still looks great to this day. Nonetheless, it's about time to redesign.

The gtr’s power has gone up less than 100 hp in the 14 years it’s been around & is still on the same 6 speed gearbox….
It needs a proper overhaul (morepower&7or8speedgearbox) to bring it up to date 👍

The GT-R may be super old, but old in a good way. I still love it’s exterior and interior design even though Nissan has not really changed much to this overtime. The engine and power though, still competitive and it’s still a beast. Price is nuts for a car this old, $130,000 for where I live in Canada, but still much less expensive than most other competitors, but I remember when this car was like $70,000 USD which is around $95,000 CAD back in 2007, and that undercut its competitors significantly.

Absolutely criminal Nissan can get away without at least updating the interior. Dot matrix graphics in the gauges. ROFL. My 2008 EVO X which I bought brand new had that. Funny thing is I actually considered this car AGAIN for the 3rd time when I decided to put in an order for the G80 M3. Just the newness was a no brainer going with the M3. Just a shame Nissan did nothing but tiny upgrades here and there during the lifecycle of this car. Definitely not worth the ask price.
I use to think all I wanted was a GT-R too but I had a few customer with it and they hate the clunky shit over time and the interior is crap compare to BMW M3... huge difference...I love my M3 comp...adjustable electronic suspension. Carbon roof...4 doors...simple to tune...

Some of us like (or maybe I should say alot of us) still like having them) can use all that apple shit along with a cd player. Yeah everyone gave up there record collection along with there cd collection because of changing times. I do not think so.

My local dealer is selling this at $150k markup lol. I think they brought it down $50k recently though. It's the same dealer that got famous for selling the "limited edition" 350Z for $100k over MSRP.

That's true, but maybe it's because people like to crap on Nissan for not updating their vehicles all that much when they release one. But the GT-R is one that I think does new car old the best. I'm not upset that the design and the interior still basically look the same since it came out, because it's still a nice looking design to this day. This is a car that is different because it's so old. It's raw, mechanical, it's not as refined, it's more engaging, you feel everything on the road, and that's what a driver's car is supposed to be. 10 years down the line, this car will still look good to me.

I like that Ben isn't an out of touch snobby reviewer that complains that the G,-TR doesn't have a digital gauge cluster or that the info screen isn't a massive screen with all the unnecessary things we think we need but will never use and that most owners will be using their own phone to connect

Personally I thought they should have done something similar to what Porsche does with their line up. The same shape car but with a few tweaks and and variety of different power outputs
The center logo on the steeringwheel should have been mirrored, so when the airbag pops, you have a readable logo imprinted on your forehead.
I like the new front! Just wished the power was in the 600hp range and the Nismo 650ish range
Yeah...I will stick with my 2020 Track Edition anyway over the T-spec....track edition comes 600 HP stock....T-Spec is nice....but a little overpriced imo
Should have gone 700hp like the aventador etc.

Wow they still put the same infotainment center in it. That needs to be updated. No complaints other then that. I will always love this car.

Once upon a time Nissan pushed innovation but nowadays it feels they are lagging far behind the competition. It is sad to see in my opinion.
Still looks like an early 2000s dash. Like the color of the lights and the little screen for climate controls. For 150k I’d want it to be nicer

1980s dashboard. terrible and ugly to boot. in the new sports cars, you can customize it to your needs such as seeing the g-force or track speeds and so much more. this is a JOKE

This is a collector car. I think they made the right choice staying away from garish Screens. I absolutely hate having to scroll through things and having the sunshine here in Florida destroy screens within a few short years. I can do without a $5,000 + repair bill when the screens go out you have absolutely nothing. Give me classic old fashioned dials any day.
It’s like saying an Apple Watch is much better than a Rolex, Omega, or Vacheron Constantin and they need to update. 😂

Kinda ironic to me that so many Skyline/Gtr/Godzilla builds are heat monsters and still perform with 90's fingerswide slots, yet the new Z grille is "mostly necessary for cooling" the vr30. Split it.

The concept for the R35 debuted in 2001, and they’ve been selling the same car, mildly updated, since 2007. It’s a little ridiculous. To put that in perspective, imagine if Ford sold the same Mustang, virtually unchanged, from 1965-1982. Or more, who knows when Nissan will release the R36.
Look at that little slow screen lol. I’d be surprised if they sell many. Lots of cars in this segment I’d prefer. The M5 competition for the same money or less and likely faster and more reliable.

I love how analog the Interior still is, its a breath of fresh air from all the so called minimalist Interiors that turn out to be more complicated to use then an f22 fighter jet, cough cough, Volkswagen. Interiors have become nothing exciting to look at, just boring iPad screens next to more iPad screens, cough cough, Ford. This interior is so satisfying to look at, and I'm sure it's even more satisfying to be inside of and use on a daily basis. Say what u will about Nissan, cough cough, qashqai. They freaking nailed this car, and it's been over a decade, and it's still checks off all the boxes. Although a manual would have been pretty freaking sweet but the world's not a perfect place, and that would have made this thing just about the perfect enthusiast dream machine. But none the less, you have to give credit ware credit is due, well done Nissan.
Just buy the 15 year old one because they dont have money to update this pile of shit. They are selling a 6 speed auto sportscar for 130k+ in 2023😂😂

I love my R35, it gets attn everywhere I go, probably more attn then a lambo or ferrari, and definitely more than a porsche or vette or hellcat... When I drive it I can just feel all the other sports car drivers thinking about my GT-R and them sulking a bit... hahahahahaha

So out the door you’re paying well over $150k. This car has the same turn signal stocks and buttons and rear backup camera as my 07 Altima. That “infotainment” is a joke. 6 speed auto dual clutch? Who still does a 6 speed? You’re better off getting a corvette at this price
