UPDATE: I wore the mascara for 9 hours and there was no flaking or smudging. It was easily removed with warm water and still love the hourglass mascara ☺️

I also have short, straight lashes and was literally tossing up between these two mascaras because I really liked my Kevyn Aucoin and tried the Hourglass one for funsies, and really enjoyed it too - your video solves my dilemma perfectly!

I love my Kevin Aucoin one but so good to see another tubing mascara. I hadn't even heard of them until a few months ago and I am such a convert.
The hourglass looks so good even though the wand intimidates me.

I'm hunting for an excellent tubing mascara but so far, no luck. Actually, I think the Kevyn Aucoin looks pretty nice on you. Your lashes are more noticeable and perkier. I tried this one, but returned it. It did nothing for my lashes. I've also tried tubing mascaras from Thrive (wet, lashes stuck together chaotically, flaking), Glossier (invisible - did nothing and flaked), Trish McEvoy (dry as dust) and L'Oreal Double Extend (so far the best but still not quite good enough). Thanks for the review - there are not enough videos dealing with tubing mascara.

@@naniomitendayo I found a great mascara, but it's not a tubing mascara. By Terry Lash Expert Twist Brush is the best one I've come across. It doesn't flake, smear of smudge and it makes lashes look beautiful and thick but not goopy.
With the unlocked mascara the bottom lashes are more defined and bold.
Problem is they’re putting plastic down the sink and into the oceans. Hourglass Caution or L’Oréal Volume million lashes are better choices and same results
Not much happens when I put on mascara either I pull at mine alot soooo their kinda non existent😂
I’ve never used a tube mascara. I really want to try it because mascara never works for me
tubing mascaras might be the way to go for you then. Its not better in length & volume per say but doesn't not smudge.
Sorry but I can't even really see them, do you curl your lashes? If you don't they will just stick out straight when you don't have naturally curled lashes.
