- The #3 MAP Data Systems Mustang runs the GT500-specific carbon fiber hood and fenders, and the S550 Mustang doors and trunk lid. The weight savings is about 110 pounds and carbon fiber is over 5x stronger than steel and 2x as stiff… all very important to our race team. The black color used by @AndersonComposites is a deep, dark black that goes so well with the “shadow black” paint on the Mustang that, in some lighting, you cannot tell that the car has carbon fiber body panels. These panels are just beautiful! With these on your car, you will get compliments all weekend long. Carbon fiber for modern muscle!
