me and my friends spent hundreds of hours in mulitiplayer back in the day of bomberman, diddy king rcing, snow board kids and mario kart those game among many other n64 ones was my childhood in a nutshell
Oh, for those wondering about the victory quotes for the last two custom outfit sets:
Karate Gear set: "Piece of cake!"
Gold Armor set: "Yes!" (Same as Knight Armor set)
(BONUS) Any combination of different custom outfit parts: "Yay!"

These were fun to watch. I had never beaten the game 100% I played more with family for the battle and always had fun there. Specially in the hills where if you play right with people you stand underneath someone and bounce them off the stages. Great lets play I enjoyed watching. ^^
Wow, a no evil laugh glitch! lol, but seriously, this game is full of surprises, even when you 100% it they still have challenge's waiting around the corner. Great LP.
Ok, just stumbled upon this video, and good lord it answered some of the questions I had as a kid, as I couldn't find the last two customs and always wondered where they could have hidden them.
Now I wonder was their any indication that speedrunning the game was the way to unlock these last two customs, in the manual or in game?
As for Sirius I think after he reveals who he actually is, all the "Sirius" you encounter outside of the final battle are just robots or replicas of him due to how robotic they speak and the green tint in their eyes.
Great Let's Play. The last few minutes blew my mind, I didn't know they changed Sirius' textboxes after you beat him. Also didn't know about the invisible beta area. This kinda explains why there is nothing of interest on that platform; they probably removed a part of the level there.
Btw. great job on the "voice acting". It fits the game surprisingly well imo XD

I'm late on this, but he added all the voice clips himself with a program. And he had some fun with it, such as in here, so it was a nice touch
Dat Wonka clip. I must say I think crossdressing Bomberman had to be my favorite costume of all. Also for some random reason your voice sounded different to me in this one, who knows! IT'S OVER!

The good ol' bomberman 64. After completing it several times, I started to hack the fuck out of it. (For fun)
This went so far as modifying bombs to mimic "Bomberman Hero", the second player controlling the mini bosses (still no idea how i managed that) and using skull powerups during singleplayer. Still love the game. Startup dat Drum and Bass!!

If I could, I would. Problem is: I did all my stuff on a real N64 by using a GameBuster, a cheating device. I had so many codes, the internal memory of those devices (had to buy multiple ones) partially corrupted. if there was a way to recover it, i'd do.

However, as far as I know, there are several values in RAM which will only be turned on duing battle mode, including several other values. If you set them correctly during singleplayer, the AI of minibosses will be swapped out, setting it to manual mode.
Same for skull effects and these were incredible hard to get the right address and values for.

If you have some versions of the Yobo Gameware N64 Controller, Just Press the Slow button and wait for the chime,
then press it again.

how do you play as the custom suits?! In the battle player select the custom option is grayed out

How do you do it when you go to play multiplayer so that everyone has the suit
Each costume has to be saved to its own memory pak.
