- This is a RE-EDIT of episode 5 of the Copper Canyons loop. We ride a beautiful an and steep road from Urique back up to the canyon rim. Experience this stunning landscape with us while we grind some excellent gravel roads. There were some sound issues in the original edit. This one also tightens up much of what was originally done. Really hope you enjoy this version.
Unfortunately the Garmin needed a reset after this ride and all the GPS data was lost

@@OmniTierra We've talked on IG but we are starting our route in Whitefish, MT and will be riding to the Grand Tetons National Park. We are going at a relatively easy pace. But who knows how many miles we'll really get in on average. We plan on just enjoying the scenery and taking in the ride, similar to how you and Mira do it. I'll likely do the entire thing is sections at a time but will probably be on my own for the rest. But again, thanks for the time it takes you to document your rides. I've been doing a bit of videoing on my YT channel for family and friends to view. It's definitely work but great to look back on. Stay safe on your travels and maybe our paths will cross someday. Thanks also for all of your advise!

Thanks for sharing your adventures! Your camping spot at 11:00 is next to one of the amazing trees of this area: Quercus tarahumara, an oak with some of the largest evergreen oak leaves (at least I think that's what it is.) -- I hope to one day see it in person too.

That’s where the 600% range of the @Pinion P 12 comes in handy. 12 equally spaced. Gears over a massive range. Allows us to ride almost anywhere. Very little service required. 🤗💕🐕
Makes my daily commute look like a Magic Carpet ride - terrain wise... if only I had to deal with so few cars on that run into town...

That’s a pretty good state. Lots of diversity of terrain, some pretty good food and a surprisingly high number of Border Collies. 🤗💕🐕

I have found just looking at the world through a more clear lens shows all the beauty. The people we meet on this trip I have been so kind and friendly and curious. Don’t forget we are travel around the world on a bike. To make the videos and upload to TH-cam I have to book some sort of accommodation with good WiFi. The time and cost definitely add up. It’s just the reality of this. Most YT’rs return to there home office to work on videos. I’m definitely trying to get more videos edited. We are on Instagram too. @omnitierra @mira_la_perra

Yeah, thanks for that. Some people were having sound issues so I thought I would use it as a good experiment to make some changes try and improve the sound levels throughout the video
I would love to be able to not take a shower after a bike day. I cant, i dont sleep if i dont shower :p
If you’re using the word shower as a proxy for washing up and bathing, then I do that every single day. I just don’t need plumbing to be able to do that.
I have shown it in a previous video, but I’ll bring it up again in the future. I wouldn’t want to stay all sweaty and dirty and try to sleep that way either. It’s not healthy and it’s not comfortable.

Always enjoy your videos but the Copper Canyon ride is freaking amazing! I have a couple of questions: I know you are using the Gates Pinion drive but what frame are you using ? Is it aluminum? A nice looking bike! What tires do you like and what is the width? Can not wait for the next video! Be safe. Mira is one of a kind K9!
Typically we ride tires that are 2.4 to 2.6 wide. If I was riding in a place like Baja, I might use wider.
We are working on a new version of this bike. This bike is titanium and the new one will be as well. I’ll be able to share more information on the new bike 🤗💕🐕. There’s a very good chance that it will be available to the public. 🤔

Not sure that they make one larger than two person. It has an enormous footprint, but it does give lots of space for Mira.🤗💕🐕
@@OmniTierra thanks John! I bought his dyneema 1p but it was a little small, i hit the sides and got my sleeping bag a little wet. I have the older style 2p and will probably use that on the gdmbr ..it's 2 lbs compared to one but I've heard you can spend a lot of time in the tent on the ride

Places at the Copper Canyon there’s almost no service of any kind. So it’s been a while since I was in the Copper Canyons. Now I’m not even in the same country.😳💕🐕

You've probably covered it before. However, I've been thinking about it alot in my apparent mid life crisis but how do finance this kind of a lifestyle?
I haven’t talked about finances, but I will in a future video. I think it’s kind of interesting what we have going on. Definitely several small streams of income. But the main thing is reducing expenses. That’s probably what it is for most people.
It’s definitely no crisis the crisis would be staying in a 6 figure soul destroying job 🤪
