The Arroyo San Pedro Chimeneas is a tucked away gem in northern Chihuahua state of Mexico. Known for loud, but tiny dogs and flavourful Mennonite cheese. Chihuahua state is also home to many an amazingly intricate topography.
Join us as we explore this beautiful canyon on our way south..

John, when you get much older (where non-motorized mtbiking is too hard for you to do); if this bike model is still around, check out Yuba Bikes; The Spicy All Terrain e-Cargo Mountain bike. You will be able to ride with more ease and carry your dog also in the rear with your innovation of placing a crate onto the cargo rack. It is kind of pricey, but since bikepacking is your love, this type of bike would be a worthy investment. The engineer of this bike is so far, the only style in the bicycle industry market.

We don’t ride and choose this lifestyle because it’s easy. For us, the journey is the destination and motorizing it would mean we couldn’t get to where we’re going. Hope that makes sense.

The bike Is a custom build bike but truly I can’t recommend the company. 2 yrs an international flight and it still wasn’t right 🤪
I’ve been wondering.. noticed you cowboy camped .. is it more risky to pitch a tent when there are coyotes? Mira is def a Rings worthy warrior.

We cowboy camp if the conditions allow. If I think there’s not gonna be much condensation or rain, and if there aren’t many bugs or wind I think it’s the way to go since it’s easy set up and pack up in the morning.

I was thinking to myself: 'When Jon and Ryan get much older, I bet they will be converting to e-bike packing bicycles rather than non-motorized ones such as they are currently using now". I bought a specified bike touring bicycle 3 years ago which will soon have a motor placed on it to help me in distant travels and getting up the steep hills.
I may have to do a video on mopeds 🤔
@@OmniTierra I wish engineers of bicycles would 'marry' a cargo bike to a Touring bike....(lol) See what kind of results they can come up with this. So Far, I like the Crate Made by Dost The Sport Long tail Hybrid by Cube, and the XtraCycle RFA (chromoly frame) as for cargo + bike touring for less technical ground surfaces.. The Dost is located in Canada. They are just out of my price range of affordability.

Hey John. What size Carver did you buy, medium or large and are you 6ft?
This is a custom bike and probably a size large. I can not (do not) recommend Carver bikes in any way.
The worst experience in the cycle industry in several decades. 2 yrs+, 2 frames, visit to a frame builder, 2 international flights and a high cost. I still have problems with this frame.
Good News: I am working on bringing a commercially available version to market. 🤗💕🐕 An all terrain midtail mountain bike ready for Dogpackers and other adventuresome riders.
I had that ever new stove for 9 years it a good stove unfortunately hard to find fuel while on a world tour specially in Muslim hot countries
I have worked in several Islamic countries so am familiar with the prohibitions. Latin America has several options for this stove.
@@OmniTierra Asia no problem ever chemist you can find it ever where even small shops in middle of no where . But i switched to muilt fuel stove by a Germany company it brillant
