- This episode I walk through a few iPhone hacks for the Death Lens brand fisheye for iphone..
Includes:
how to make a sturdier case
how to keep the handle from rattling,
and how to keep the fish eye from rattling ( sort of )
+ Bonus: attaching a battery pack for more evenly distributed weight and longer usage.
This was just my stab at fixing what I already had. I was pretty miffed from cracking 3 different phones because of the Death Lens fisheye cases. If anyone else has any pointers I'd love to hear them.

Thank you for showing me that this company makes shit product that I don’t need to buy.
also you can download pro cam and you can film without the camera stabilization which causes the rattle. also you can manually control white balance, f stop, ect.
The rattle was just the actual handle rattling not any shaky footage , but that app does look real cool 🕯

Have had both the wide angle and pro lens and I like em both. But the pro lens is crispier imo. Bout to buy a new lens but not sure if I wanna try something new or get another pro lens
I scooped the new 2.0 8mm lens a little bit ago, gonna do a new video on it soon. love that the lenses work on new / older phones
nice review! i use an old iphone with my death lens just in case. had the same issue with rattling. good company but unfortunate about the quality of certain things

Thanks man, after letting the handle sit in the car ( in the sun ) for a week it made it rattle. Deff my own fault. The PRO lens rattled out of the box but they told me that if I moved the lens that crazy while filming the footage wouldn’t be usable anyway. Hope this helps!

I got this and using the Deathlens app and could swear I would be recording clips but then realized it was never really recording so lost a bunch of good footage.. Idk maybe I hit the record button and it didn’t start but damn!
you can turnn the volume up on your phone and then it plays a loud beep when it starts and stops

I have a question i record with the death lens app but when i share with my friend the video it is very a bad quality do you have any good app for me to film my skateboard clip?
that has more to do with what phone your friend has than anything else. if it's android they purposely make the video look bad when it goes from one to the other ( both companies suck for doing that )
