  • EDIT: I may have messed up: The upper part of the injector contains the spring, but none of the three injectors were willing to release the spring, and I did not try, as I did not know this assembly comes apart. Perhaps I will have to revisit my injectors.
After 2,900 hours, the engine was idling rough, and I assumed probably the fuel injectors required servicing.
My next step, as I am getting another slower rpm issue will be adjusting the valves. Video to follow, if I can't find a good one already on TH-cam.
I post these videos hoping they will help someone. Please Comment, add ideas, helpful information and tips, and please like and Subscribe so TH-cam will make these videos available to more audience. I do not make any revenue from these videos.

    Did that fix the problem?

This fixed a low fuel flow issue, but now I need to figure out a detonation misfire issue which is now worse since the injector cleaning. I am assuming the D902 BX25 injector pump has a broken spring. Can't buy just 3x springs, just the whole pump from Kubota. However, they are available from the UK, and since the D902 is a universal engine, perhaps an equipment dealer will have just springs?

I just watched a video where a fella dismantled and cleaned the injector pump, and all pistons were quite 'dirty' and one was not running full stroke, so my challenge today will be to dismantle my injection pump, considering the injectors were so contaminated.

Dismantled the injector pump, all mechanical is good, but exit orifice #1 was clogged, so cleaned all three fittings of scale and reinstalled the pump. Do not know what went wrong, but the engine fired and ran-away... shut of fuel and hopefully no damage. Disassembled pump again, changed 180* pump piston to face opposite side than fuel slider, and will double check to make sure it fits in position and try again. Nervous.
