We slap that pot so the soil can settle around the roots, filling in any gaps that might be left after repotting. The roots need to be well encased, but not tightly packed, in soil so they can soak up water evenly. Roots that cannot access the water, will shrivel up and dry.
hello, I have a question regarding to my beautiful fiddle leave fig. I just repotting it and 2 weeks after that, it started to get very droopy and dropped many big leaves. What should I do .. Should I check the roots again if it's any signs of root rotting or should I just leave it for now?
What type fertilizer works for this fiddle leaf fig plant dear Tanner? Will any regular shake and feed miracle grow all purpose plant food work? Please tell me as I have never used fertilizer before for my fiddle leaf fig yet- it’s two years old plant in a pot growing well so far without fertilizer but getting bit leggy now
I got a huuuuggge fiddle leaf at Costco that definitely needs repotting (roots coming out the bottom), but I don't want to go up a pot size if I don't have to. Can it handle having the roots trimmed back, does anyone know?

it's like Tanner himself explaining it while slapping that pot 😂
This is a direct quote 😂
@@tannertheplanter102 I learned from the master.
Yes but I think it's the eye contact while you're slapping away that really enhances the technique
In your arm everything is so “ nice and easy”:)
I love what you do. I have a feedle leaf tree 7feet tall planted on a 1.5 gallon pot. Do you think this is small on a 7ft tall feedle leaf tree.
I didn't get the part at the end immediately after "bright light" and right before " give it a soak". 😅 Can someone clarify? Thanks in advance. 😅😅😅
Loving the energy, man. Thanks for the videos. New sub 😃
Thank you!

Can edema be reversed on fiddle leaf figs? How do you prevent it?
Idk, but it seems like he's stressing that fig leaf out 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
