We had many amazing experiences in the Philippines, but unfortunately, swimming with the Whale sharks wasn't our favorite. None the less, we are excited to explore more of this beautiful country! ❤😊🇵🇭
There will always be disappointment in life...but, after watching so many other of your videos, you have had more wonderful experiences than not...
"dream on til your dreams come true"! 💕
@DianaTuTu29 We definitely have had way more good than bad experiences, and really, this experience wasn't bad... just a little disappointing..
Go to Lila bohol whale sharks watching 100% allready have but crowded
Oslob cebu is crowded but very organized…worth it
Maybe we'll try it there next time! Although the crowds was the biggest issue
The Whale shark was HUGE!!😮
@NotGhostGaming23 even more huge than we imagined!
Enjoy your day😊
Thank you 💗
Just enjoy en have fun guys❤😊😊
Thank you 💗
So cool to see a whale shark no matter what, but that was a hectic experience! 😬🦈
@ChrisLasVegas777 very true! ☺️❤️
Your family is so special to me
Thank you for the kind words! ❤️😊
Yea to many tourists, hard to really soak it in😊
It was a little hectic...
Hello!
Hello, hope you enjoy the video 💗
A thrilling experience indeed.
The most popular whale sharks area are in Cebu and Donsol, Sorsogon in Bicol.
They look scary but amazingly, your kids were so brave. The sight of huge animals always intimidated me. Hahaha
Definitely intimidating how huge they are when they are right in front of you!
Love it. again the colors are amazing.
Thanks so much 😊
This kind of excursion is really unsafe for kids because you are not able to control a lot of variables. The sardine swim will likely be more enjoyable with less crowd.
Yes we were apprehensive about safety, but were assured that it was fine. Our friend also went with a child younger than our kids, but her experience was very different than ours. We would love to try the Sardine swim!☺️
At least the boys seemed to enjoy the experience...as they weren't really aware of the difficulties...😊
@DianaTuTu29 they still thought is was just cool to even be close to a whale shark, and it was, but we just wish it was a little less busy and less rushed..
the smartest child in the world😁
❤️❤️
Hello!!! new subscriber here...watching in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Goodluck and take care...God bless your family...💖🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for watching! ☺️❤️
Cool u enjoy the beaches how long you will stay in PH ❤
@dorigaid_02 we spent 1 month in PH. We have 1 more video in Bohol then we'll be putting out videos from Negros Occidental! ❤️😊🇵🇭
WE LOVE YOU GUYS
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed! ☺️❤️
@@WorldFamilyExplorers yeah. I agree with you that this adventure with the whale shark was a bit disappointing.
Too bad you didn’t have the same experience that your friend did. I guess it's all luck as to if you see a whale shark, how many there are if you do and how many people are there...
The fact you had to return a second day, probably made it even more frustrating for you... especially with so many more people...but, you did get to experience the beautiful water & surroundings...☺️
I love you baby 💕❤️
❤️❤️
Beautiful 🤩 place🌹😎🇵🇭
Bohol is very beautiful!❤️🇵🇭
Sorry guys for your not so good experience but I still enjoy your vlog. Hopefully, your next adventure will be more fun.👍🏼❤️
We are happy that most of our experiences have been great and don't let the not so good days get us down..☺️❤️
Cb
👍☺️
❤❤❤
☺️❤️
They're doing the same exact thing what Oslob is doing. Feeding them. Yes it looks disorganized.
From everything we're reading after doing this excursion, it's not good to feed them in any case because it changes their migration patterns and they get injured by getting used to humans and close to boats which makes them get injured. We would love to see one truly in it's natural habitat without feeding it...❤️🦈
In dumagite the nice place to see the wellsheke is not in bohol
Thank you so much for the info 😊 unfortunately we didn't have the best experience at this one..
Thanks for showing an honest view and experience. Actually in Cebu the whale sharks are dangerously being conditioned to depend on human feeding. Much like all whales that naturally swim looking for krill, here you’ll notice they’re being fed. It’s the only way they get to entice the whale sharks to be in the area. They’ve overbooked this experience reflecting the overall quality of experience you received. Totally unorganized and you got 10 minutes instead of 30. Sorry you had to experience the forced tipping as well. It’s quite intimidating following you to the car for it. It’s a tipping culture there. Sadly, they expect it more from foreigners. If you keep an eye out in Manila, backing out your car when leaving an establishment, someone will help back out. This person is expecting a tip. I’m glad the boys enjoyed it at least.
Thank you for the info. We are conflicted about wanting to try to get a better experience in Cebu. Like you said, it's not good to have the Whale Sharks conditioned to be fed by humans. The ultimate experience would be to see them naturally while scuba diving, but I know that's a rare occurrence. We are used to tipping for everything in the USA but just felt a little weird being asked when they knew it wasn't a great experience, and we expressed our concerns to our guide. We still came back with a tip because we wanted to help him out. Overall, it was still cool to be that close to a whale shark even though it wasn't the magical experience we hoped for that our friends had on a different day. Thank you so much for watching. If you watch any of our other videos, you will see that we've had overwhelmingly good experiences in the Philippines! ☺️❤️🇵🇭
Even if they don't have teeth.. .still scary!!!
They are very intimidating!!
you guys should dive in not just floating devices ha ha thats hard to see the entire massive size
We were planning to take off the life jackets, but our boat parked far from the whale shark. We had to swim through several boats and their ropes to get to it and didn't feel comfortable taking them off. Plus, the many people there bumping into you and kicking you, not our favorite experience.
Go to lila whale shark watching sir is 100% have wale shark
Thank you!😊
Where is that whaleshark sightseeing area? In Oslob there's a massive crowd of registered tourists queuing in line to get banca seats to see the whalesharks that they have to wait for hours just to get their turn to go. But at least they get to see several whalesharks there and the time in the water is longer about 30 min or so. I don't think they charge for gopro corkage in Oslob so you're not forced to rent one if you brought your own. Also banca drivers don't use engine motors on their boats to protect the whaleshark from the motor blades so they only use paddles.
It was off of Sante fe beach on Bohol. We had friends that had a great experience at the same place but unfortunately ours was not too great. We plan to try it again next year in Cebu.
cebu is better for whaleshark sighting
Thank you for the tip 😊 we did hear it was very busy in Cebu but also more organized and a better overall experience..
I don't understand why they charge a fee for the GoPro and it's quite expensive too. 🤔🤔🤔
In comparison with Oslob, the amount of people you have is much lesser.
One thing missing i guess, is the lack of info given to tourists like by not having suntan lotion or sort, for the protection of the whale sharks.
And the tour guides asking for tip is a No No for me. That's definitely disrespectful in my book. 😡
Yes, that was a surprise for the GoPro fee. They did have an environmental briefing we didn't get on film, not to wear suntan lotion and not to touch or get too close to the Whale Sharks. The crazy thing is they don't follow their own rules and took us right on top of the Whale shark, forcing us to almost touch it...
You should report that crew to their admin ofis. Also your suggestion would be. address.
Yes it wasn't the best experience 😕
You see not all of us here in the Philippines are nice 😅.. some are scammers when it comes to money 🤑😅.. but not all..
Everyone there was nice, but we think trying to put too many people in one boat and bringing too many people to see one whale shark ruined the experience. One thing we appreciate us them letting us come back a second day at no additional charge after not seeing anything the first day....
@@WorldFamilyExplorers i don't think there is a Exclusive boat for your family there.. you have to join with others just like in Oslob Cebu.. unless you pay more for a Exclusive boat maybe 🤔.. Tanx to this video now i know.. sorry Bohol but i think Oslob Cebu is better 😅
What were they feeding the 🐳whale 🦈sharks?
They feed them shrimp and small fish. Unfortunately, after doing more research we see that people say feeding them is bad because it changes their natural migration patterns. Feel conflicted about participating in this activity...
@@WorldFamilyExplorers well...they're not gonna stop when they are making $$ off of them and all it's costing them is some gas & chum...I feel kinda bad for them, seeing so many people swimming near them like that has got to be stressful...whale shark gonna need a Xanax 😏
I prefer less people when i encounter whale sharks .
Us too! If we had encountered one the first day, we would have been all alone, but no luck. Day 2 was crazy with so many people crowding in around 1 Whale shark...
Still not environmentally correct because they were feeding that whale shark. .
It would definitely be better for us and the Whale Sharks if we could see them naturally without feeding them getting used to humans...
2:11 whaaaaaatttt?..,,go pro charge?? who ever implemented that?thats bullshit,,making money for bullshit .is that legit company? who runs that?
Gentle Giant Taug was the name of the company in Lila, Bohol Sante Fe Beach. We thought the extra GoPro charge was strange and should be included.
