We loved the Venice Canal Mall and were happy that we decided to explore Metro Manila for 1 week before Island hopping. Many told us to get out of Manila as soon as possible to go to other islands, but we were glad we explored the city life first and were very impressed! This is the reason why theres so many content creators went to Philippines because Filipinos support all foreigned bloggers and its appriciated coz its promotes our country to convince more tourist to visit
We are very surprised at the response. We have been so much more welcomed in the Philippines than any other country. We are happy to recommend the Philippines as a great destination at a wonderful value. We are behind on our editing, but we went to Hawaii after the Philippines, and we were so disappointed. It cost 10 times as much, and the beaches weren't as beautiful as many in the Philippines. Plus, the Filipino people are much more welcoming. We ended up not even filming in Hawaii because, unfortunately, we didn't have that great of an experience and didn't want to do a negative video...

Other foreign vloggers bought a condo in BGC as their main base to travel around the country and do Island hopping and others do explore southeast Asia as well and they always come back here as the prices were cheap. Other people call this as 2nd home.
Manila is one of the most modern and Westernized cities in Southeast Asia
Manila really surprised us with the world class shopping and restaurants! A lot complain about the traffic but it didn't bother us. We also tried local transportation of Jeepney, Tricycle and the train! We'll be showing that in the next video along with going to local markets and trying local food!☺️🇵🇭❤️
You would be surprised to see that there are establishments that you only find in certain states in the US
Philippines has an intense "mall culture", the SM Mall of Asia located in Pasay City is the 4th Biggest mall in the entire world, it also holds the record of Largest IKEA in the world. the Philippines has (i think) 3 malls in the Top 10 list Biggest malls in the world. This is due to the harsh heat in the country, many filipinos would go to malls to cool down and the fact that malls here have literally everything you need, Shopping, Groceries, Entertainment, Churches, etc.
Amazing! We want to see it all! We definitely are already planning to make a second trip. There is no way to see everything in Manila or visit all the Islands we want to in one trip!

Manila is very diverse. If you want to see the Spanish colonial heritage of the Philippines, I suggest you visit Intramuros.

It’s in Aseana City, where you will find world class casino resorts like Okada, Solaire and City of Dreams. There’s also the Resorts World Manila in Newport City adjacent to NAIA (international airport). And the newly opened Solaire North in Quezon City. All are beautiful!! ❤️🇵🇭💥

Philippines is so diverse. You can have the city, provinces, rural areas, mountains and beaches all in one Country. Be sure to explore, traffic will be crazy in Manila, but dont let that from enjoying the city. Take a Grab avoid Taxis scams. Enjoy Philippines!

A lot to visit in Manila: Okada Manila, City of Dreams, Mind Museum, Mall of Asia, Star City, Intramuros, Binondo, Ayala Triangle, Ayala Museum in Makati, Salcedo Village Weekend Market in Makati, Manila Cemetery, SM Aura and Bonifacio High Street,
So much to see. Our AirB&B is in BGC so we did go to high street. It was so nice to be able to walk around without worrying about traffic! 😊❤️🇵🇭

Though yes, PH is most known for amazing beaches and great diving, why we won World Travel Awards' World's Leading Beach Destination and Worlds Leading Dive Destination in 2022 and 2023. :)

Yes, we saw the most Western chains out of any of the countries we've been outside the USA in Manilla. We want to try to eat local food as much as possible but also nice to have food we're familiar with from home!🙂

The Philippines loves preserving all of the great American culture and heritage. Did you know those old jeepneys/buses are the old American jeeps used in WW2 by the American forces? Also, boxing and basketball are the most popular sports in the Philippines, but I think Filipinos would have preferred football, but those gears are too expensive and extremely hot to wear in a tropical climate 😂 Also, malls, street signs, culture, and even how people dressed are all based on the American ways, we even used to have all paper money that says Republic of the Philippines in front and Estados Unidos/United States of America in the back before WW2. Btw the next time you come back, did you know you can watch movies from the gondola on some nights at the Venetian Mall? the canal becomes a movie theater, more fun in the Philippines! 😂

To those friends who said to skip Manila are definitely on a tight budget lol. Explore Manila, especially Intramuros, historic walled city
Everyone was saying about the horrible traffic. Our AirB&B in BGC was walking distance to high street, so we have everything right there, and we can take Grab taxi easily anywhere else, and traffic didn't seem too bad. We went to Tondo and traffic was a little crazy but we rode in the Jeepneys and Tricycles which made it a fun local Experience!
