I think I’m gonna love the new online multiplayer. No more downloading the most popular tune and competing right away. They’ll have to do the work this time! 💪💪
Then keeping the overly dirty players in their own group is gonna be superb!
I have a feeling steering wheel angle will be increased for this game because they always switch to the dashboard camera before a turn. You never see the actual steering wheel turn lock-to-lock.
The lasted Grand Oak Raceway trailer had the wheel turn more than 90 degrees and I think the driver's hand also let go of the wheel in order to hand over hand grab it, but it's kind of off screen
No, the steering angle is still 180 degrees total, I'll try and find the video for you but its stil the same as FM7

@@anti-tryhardyeh I noticed that but if you watch the most recent one it looks like there is more steering angle, i’m not too sure but the build might just be getting finished up, praying it is.

@@peelp5076yeah I’ve seen multiple moments where the driver has turned the wheel more than 90 degrees, hoping they do a proper introduction of the feature soon! Gamescom is closing in!
Also, i hope M. Rossi is more PTSD inducing like he usually is in previous Motorsports. Boy ive got some M. Rossi stories .
One time, i was playing FM4 and, i decided to up the difficulty. Boy, worst mistake ever! I was doing an LMP race on Sebring Raceway, and As i got to the front of the pack, M. Rossi dude. I slowed down for the corner, and M. Rossi uses me to slow himself down, and then passes me, winning the race. It was then when i decided to move from FM4 to FH2. I cried for so long!
With all the FD licensing they have I think it'd be really cool to have an FD style grid on some of the tracks in multiplayer.
Thanks for the video, it cleared up a few questions i had, mainly the multiplayer aspects, can't wait to play the game.

Any idea about private multiplayer AI cars? For example you have a group of 4 players and you fill the rest spots with AI cars. This was not a feature anymore in FM7 and I was super dissappointed. Really hoping they implement this but not getting my hopes up.

I love the slight realism, some people are mad that you can't just randomly upgrade a car randomly, but. I dont mind, it gives a reason to grind. While Horizon is the complete opposite. (Yes, i know. Im comparing a simulator to an arcade racer).

I hope they improved on the aero options for the game and i hope fujimi kaido will one day be brought back. Both in which i highly doubt, sadly 😓
The one thing I don't like about the ghost while pause thing is that you could ghost right through a wreck pileup.
Not exactly, while you would go through, a pile up affects pace, of which your car is going 60-80 the speed of, if done right, the car would literally slow to a crawl as well, if not worse.

Eric how well did you do in that Bathurst rivals event? My best lap was 1:54.463 couple days ago. At the time of finishing spot 10 in Europe leaderboard and spot 19 in world leaderboard.
My only draw back is if I run s1/P class cars more then anything and theres not an event open for that then that's gonna be a bummer to have to wait and run a new car I've made to just run with other s1/P cars live to see how it does and not just solo in rivals and if you don't know a lot of people to have a private lobby race then that's a big L hopefully something is done about this to run the cars in a select class that we the people/players desire and not being forced to race something we wouldn't like. they will loose players because of this not everyone is okay with back tracking to b/c class cars or feel like driving on rails in a s2 or x class race. Other then this I can't wait but I feel it will get stale quick without having an option to choose a lobby/class that of a car class I'd like to run back to back. Online with others

They displayed some drifting in the original trailer, then told not coming at launch, atleast lobbies aren’t. Did they delve into it anymore in the private chat?

Will there be a feature same as other racing games, that I can change abs, traction control, brake bias. Would be nice to change on track with my wheel.

I can already sense the greifers planning their attack by purposely being lapped on lap 2 and then blocking half of the track with their car on lap 3 or the final lap.
I haven’t played Motorsport online since FM5 due to greifers and cheaters on the lobbies. This new Motorsport will be my long awaited return to online racing. (I do play FH4 and 5 online for the joy of driving with others, but I hardly ever entered any races in Horizon Online).

Will there be dedicated formula drift layouts with zones and scoring for competition purposes. Even if its to come at a later date
I doubt it as drifting's not even going to be in the game at all at launch. And there's no word on if they even plan to put it or drag racing into the game at all. Which pretty much just kills any excitement I have for this game

It kinda hurts my brain to hear Turn 10 pretend like adding practice/qualifying is some kind of next-gen design decision. This is just... how every other racing simulator other than Forza has worked since the early 1990's.
Excellent. I can see me cutting back my Horizon playing big time to play Motorsport as online racing in Horizon 5 is pretty much pointless and I'm sick of the ramming

Wish this clean driving system was implemented in future FH6 game, as online is infested with rammers even if it's a team race like Trail event, they can't live with themselves if someone dares to pass them...

This is one game where multiplayer doesn't interest me and wish they'd focus more on the core game rather than try to fix some super intense issues with multiplayer. But I get some people like it, I'd just rather play with me, myself, and I.

Xbox for forza because fh5 and forza Motorsport on Xbox. But your choice. But I’d wait for the new one to see how it is.

Go with the one that suits your style best for me gt7 is the one i prefer but you might have a different preference
I have played GT7 since launch with a fanatec rig. The gameplay is excellent, but I am personally very excited for this Forza. I miss a decent single player career. GT7 menu books are not very good and the AI is terrible. I would say forza, but GT7 sport mode is good, but very sweaty. I don’t have time to to race daily. I play a little more casual. I don’t know how forza will turn out, but looks promising to me.
