In Depth Review and Road Test of the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Z71
    • 2015 Chevrolet Colorad...
During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of TH-cam!

I've seen one these in person and they look almost as big as a full size truck. Give this thing a lift kit, aftermarket exhaust and more aggressive wheels and you got you a pretty badass truck. I would have never considered a mid size truck before, but they have really evolved from what they once were. Great review as usual.

I really like how the Canyon is more of a mini Sierra, wasn't too much a fan of the Colorado styling.

Thursday was the first day for me to actually drive my SLE version, today ( sunday) I took it out for an extended drive about 3 to 4 hours, back roads and hiway. everything you mentioned here about it's handling characteristics is absolutely correct. I was very happy to drive it. Glad I decided to purchase it verses another SUV.

This is the perfect blend of utility, class and Braun! I'm not a "truck-guy", but I'm definitely intrigued by the Canyon! Having said that, rear legroom would be the deal-breaker for me...family of four.

I drive one for work; it's pretty nice not going to lie. I'm 6 feet tall and sit pretty comfortably. The rear seat are a little tight; okay for kids, two adults could fit back there relatively comfortable. Truck is kind of a pig on gas but I have the 4x4 v6 model with a back cap on it so what do you expect. I love the touchscreen dash and some of the interior quality. It's a pretty good truck although in total it was $42000. if that was my money I'd go with the Tacoma. It's just more reliable and the crawl control is amazing.

*I gotta say, love my Canyon. It's a pleasure to drive.*
I have a Quicksilver, SLT, V6, Crew cab with cocoa/dune leather interior. Such a sporty, beefy, & solid truck. Very comfortable & smooth.
My only gripe is that I wish they would've gone with Ford's way of offering in-vehicle wifi rather than going with OnStar's, as it forces you to subscribe to one of their data plans or add a line to your existing AT&T account. Ford simply uses your existing smartphone's LTE connection & converts it into a wifi signal.

Here a Chevy (Full-Size) truck has to be over 8yrs old and 180 tho miles to b under 20-17 grand-I bet the price on these mid trucks would be the same as where you are but people would still pay good money here for the used v6s-and more for the Fords, the retired guys love these trucks here-but I havent seen a used Toy truck on the lots here in I dont remember-crazy how different places are..cool

Before seeing this review I had not even thought of this vehicle as a possible purchase. I live in a pretty urban area, so parking can be tight at times. I don't need a truck 100% of the time, but my gf loves gardening, and I enjoy doing some restoration of our older home. I borrow my dad's RAM 1500 all the time. I love the truck and wish there was a new Dakota out there, but this looks really nice and would work great for urban maneuverability and parking. Perhaps I get one of these and get her a car to forgive me for getting a truck?

Hey kyle, will you be doing a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 all terrain SLT soon?

  • @Postmangames
    @Postmangames 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I definitely prefer the Colorado's exterior and styling to the GMC. It's GMC looks fantastic but it's a preference, however the GMC completely outclasses in interior quality even on mid tier trims. The Z71 interior has that very out of place gray accenting and the seat fabric is very coarse where the Canyon SLE uses much better soft touch materials and high quality upholstery. Other than that they are in essence the same truck. It comes down to how much a higher quality interior matters to you. To me it matters a lot so I would personally pick the GMC if you have to pay full MSRP but if you can find the Colorado Z71 for a good deal either with a lot of options or the Midnight Package I would choose that over this.

We can get all this info through a Google search or by going to a dealer and checking it out in person. You reviewed the "all terrain" version but never even took it off-road.
Yes we know some cars/trucks come with remote start nowadays, all you did was list everything commonly found on the GMC website.

Hello Saabkyle04. I was just wondering if you can find a Volkswagen Cabriolet and review it. They are so rare but, I found one here in my state Alabama it's a 1987 VW cabriolet. I think its a cool little car.^^

+saabkyle04 hey, just to let you know, your videos rock and definitely give me the chance to go into cars I would never be able to go in, in my life! Btw I must also say these videos are convincing to my parents who are thinking about getting a truck. Lol but I understand if your swamped with requests but would you mind doing the new refreshed 2015 Ford Expedition? Lol keep up the great videos!

What do most people think of the GM twins reliability? I mean tacomas have outsold the GMs for the past 15 years for a reason I think.... Is there any proof that these newer models will be more reliable?
I really wish there was because I think I prefer them slightly over the Tacoma but the Taco has been proven for so long with great resale so I'm a little more swayed towards the Tacoma

raca reca I wouldn't recommend anything else in the Mid-size segment at this momrnt, unless you were waiting for the next gen Tacoma and others to hit the market to compare. The Canyon is a solid choice, but if you don't need the extra fancy bits, the Colorado will do the same job, just a bit cheaper.
