Excellent video showcasing how livable the 12C is. Such a beautiful timeless design, power and technology that is still competitive and relevant 10 years later. I recently picked one up and I'm probably still in the honeymoon stage, but I love this car. Every time I drive it puts a huge smile on my face, and in the faces of those watching. Aside from some of the electrical gremlins, and regular maintenance, it should be very rewarding to own for many years. I truly believe we will soon see the prices of the 12C double, if not triple. The Forgotten Super Car!

Interesting vid from now 4 years ago and I think you were bang on, it will/is becoming a classic it does look timeless and is ageing well. I have the 12C Spider and wouldn’t change it for the Sports series or anything else it’s the perfect all round tasteful supercar

Congrats, very nice and informative video about 12C. I am in the dilemma of my life which is 458 Italia or 12C. I think I will go for 12C but the convertible one.

Wow, thank you for this. First time I've heard a similar opinion to mine about the 12c. Don't know what it is but I don't like the look of any other McLaren (but I know I'm in a minority)

The annual service is £750 or £1500 plus VAT. The warranty is quite expensive at £3500! I've sold mine but loved it.
3 digit number plate Blimey , its prob worth same amount as the car , very nice . Much better video this time round , a sub from me 👍.

Absolutely nailed the spec on it, and I totally agree with you on the whole 650s thing. Also, I've ridden in a 12C and didn't know it had 616BHP - Absolutely mental! I assumed it would be under 600 to match the 458 but nope, Mclaren is evidently superior. Great video, especially with the appearance of that Carrera GT ;)

The 2013 model had lifting gear as an option and a button under the door instead of the sensors. Same engine and no other changes I know of.

My dad also owns a 12C he absolutely loves the car he had it for 3 years and he has put 35k km on it. The car is amazing we haven't had any major issues with it except the wiper broke once but it was replaced and it was under warranty. After all these years of owning a McLaren, he has decided to buy a 675LT but he is waiting to find the right one. So what's it like having a supercar as a daily round London. Streets you can't get down due to speed bumps? Frequently filling up? Potholes? Parking? Jealous twats vandalising?

I prefer the 12C over the 650S because at least it looks different than all the runny egg head light McLaren cars after until the 720/765.
What's the round thing on the passenger door, under the vent? (See what comes of promoting old videos on Instagram? LoL)
$1,200 a day?? You can personally own a lightly used 12c for about 1,800 a month!
The 12C spider is £150,000 so quite a big premium over the coupe.
Is anything coming to replace the 12c?
