I appreciate your channel SO MUCH ! Thank you for helping to sort things out with skincare for us women over 50 (well 60 in my case lol). I only found you about a month ago and always feel uplift when I seek out advice from your playlist. You rock !
An episode that focuses on caring for the neck and decollatege would be so helpful--and if you could recommend products from The Ordinary, that much better. Thank you!
In the morning, I use niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, copper peptides, moisturiser (all The Ordinary). I have now added Vitamin C (another brand, use this fist). I will be soon buying Argireline to use with retinoid cream in the night. I am 70.
Omgosh I can't tell you how absolutely wonderful it was to see this video TODAY!!!! I was just on the Ordinary's website for the very first time ever, TODAY! I was so confused and couldn't figure out what skincare products I needed to incorporate in my skincare routine. Now I have you to thank for teaching me a little about their website, and which products I need from them, to start with. I'm super excited that ULTA carries these products. Will certainly make my life easier. Thank you so very much for putting up this video. I'm grateful for the information I get from you. Lots of love from this 52yr old who's very excited to order and start using the products you recommended.
Target carries some of the products at affordable prices and Amazon as well. I am discontinuing the Buffet Copper Peptide as anything with mitrexyl synthetic gives me undereye bags which I never had as you can see in my photo. I pay close attention to how my skin reacts to the skin treatment and have no problem eliminating a product. My focus is to have bright glowy skin that has even tones. Thank you for sharing your knowledge especially for making your own Vitamin C, and Hylauronic Acid. I use the Timeless and started at the 10% 4 oz bottle. It is refrigerated and shared with my hubby, so when it is completed I was going to up to 20%. The Lactic Acid I started at 5% so now I will up to 10%. I feel its best to start at a lower grade to get you skin used to the treatment, plus decreasing the possibility of skin problems.
Hello Kimberly, My 15 year old just introduced me to Ordinary. She wanted me to order her products from Amazon... as I was investigating prices I came across the Ulta and Ordinary websites and could not believe how much Amazon bumps up their prices. I also didn't realize the selection of products and was overwhelmed as WHAT to use.... so I TH-camd it and came across your information for the 50+. Thank you! You are a plethora of information. I'm so excited to have discovered you!!!! You are absolutely precious. :-)
I am also Canadian, and my experience is that shipments from The Ordinary are delivered in just a few days. Thanks so much for bringing my attention to this company and sharing information on their products! PS: This morning my hubby said, (without being asked), that my skin was looking great ... that the difference was noticeable, and I just began to use the serums last month!!! Unfortunately, the peeling solution cannot be delivered in Canada.
Great video! I'm 70 and have been using the deciem products for several years now. Most of my products come from The Ordinary branch of the company. I have sensitive skin. I like the BHA AHA solution but I found that I can only leave it on for 4 minutes. Even at that, it does a good job of exfoliating. The Buffet is great and it has Hyaluronic acid in it so you don't need to add an additional HA product. I find the Buffet with Copper the trickiest product to use because you can not use it with vit c so that eliminates it from my morning routine and you can not use it with retin a so that eliminates it from my night routine. I find that I use it only when I don't use my retin a at night. Also, the deciem web site recommends not using more than 3 products at any one time. Thanks
That's been a consideration for my about adding Copper Peptides to my routine. Not sure I want to skin a night of my Tretinoin to use it! Thanks for watching!
Thank you Kimberly. THANK YOU so much! You won't believe how much I needed this video! ...or how long I've been searching for someone to educate me on "the Ordinary" products for someone familiar with the older age group. Again, thank u 💓
Wow just gone to the site and so easy when you know how thank you I just feel so relieved it’s been taken out of my hands and had the professional team sort it out can’t wait to receive this now and get started maybe bit more expensive but will last and more important will work proven by many on here but you are the only one who has shown me how to get onto the site and choose so simple once your there great advise Julie x
Anne Marie C You could try adding one of their retinoids(granactive). They’ve had good reviews and from personal experience the 2% gave me zero reactions even though I used it every night. I also go “off piste” and use it on the parts of my face that are not recommended for tretinoin which I’ve just started using.
I'm no where near the age of 50 however your videos have been really useful in helping me decide what to buy my mum for christmas so thank you very much!! :D
Ulta is also on Rakuten. Ordering on Ulta through Rakuten gets you 10% (was 2%) cash back on the subtotal (before taxes) of your purchase/order! Rakuten is free to use/sign up! Plus Rakuten has hundreds of other stores! It’s wonderful to use to get cash back on your purchases!
Just found your site and love it. I’m 70 and really love The Ordinary products for all the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to do all of the homework. I have learned a lot.
Thanks for all of this information, Kimberly. Like you, I was intimidated by their website as a beginner (at 71!). Their chat box has been a help even though you post your question and have to wait anywhere from a couple of hours to a day for a response. I've been using their products now for about two weeks and am enjoying them. I started with their set called the "No-Brainer" and also got the AHA/BHA peel. I'm loving these products and have just ordered a few more from Sephora (same price as The Ordinary website plus free gifts). I, too, have non-sensitive skin. I've only used the peel twice (once a week) and will be trying out twice a week now. Thank you for all of your work and efforts in researching and putting together your videos. It's much appreciated! Linda
Sephora is also on Rakuten for 2% cash back on the subtotal of your purchase/order! Before I purchase from any store I always check if they’re on Rakuten first! If you’re going to shop why not get cash back for your purchase! And it’s free to use/sign up!
FYI...I live in Maryland and received my orders from The Ordinary (Deciem) within in 3-6 days. On their website free shipping for orders $25 as compared to Ulta $35 for free shipping.
Thank you for doing this video. I had no idea about the ordinary products. I placed an order for some of the ones discussed on this video. I am excited to receive them and hoping they will give me good results. You are beautiful!! I love your hair with vf the headband.
Thank you Kimberly for such an awesome and helpful video! Thanks to your recommendations I have already purchased the products you’ve just mentioned and the results are amazing! So happy with the way my skin looks and behaves now since I’ve been using The Ordinary products! This video makes it all a lot easier to though, sums things up very nicely with some great tips. Much appreciated! Sending you you love and positivity!🙏🏻🌈💕
67 and *Love* The Ordinary! Caffeine Solution for puffiness, morning and night. Copper Peptide: A+ and everything else you mentioned. Hint: I cut the boxes in half, taped them together and lined them up in order for A.M. and P.M. I order on line and pick up at Ulta.
Hi. Kimberly. I am a 59 year old male, that works outdoors on a golf course "ALL" year long. You videos showed me how to moisturize & get rid of my dry skin. Thank you.I hope you channel doesn't leave & merry christmas 2021 !!!
I've just came across your channel and subscribed. Great content, very informative. I've just started using "Ordinary" products and I'm more than satisfied. 😊👍 Many regards from Croatia 🇭🇷🤗
I absolutely love your hair! Let us know where you got your earrings and headband! I am definitely going to order from The Ordinary the start my serum regime! Thank you so much for your channel and your honesty!
Thank you Kimberly. I am followoing you since you started the chanell. You are so 'down to earth'. You are so comprehensive and thorough. I too use Ordinary products, I order on line from the UK, as since COVD 19 it is seems difficult to get products to Israel. I am 55 and feeling so goot I can take care of my skin for very reasonable price. I won't pay for High end.. rather do more travelling overseas... Love to see your excellent work show up in the growing community of your chanell followers.
Fantastic video .....Can definitely recommend Niacinamide it has broken down my brown pigmentation patches on my cheeks and they continue to fade . Angie x 💋 aged 61
I have been using The Ordinary products for over 2 years and I love them. Unfortunately the AHA BHA Peeling Solution is not available for sale in Canada. I love the Squalane oil and the Buffet the best!
Love the ordinary products so thank you for making a bit more clearer. I have bought a few of the products you mentioned but I'm not quite sure how to use it all. So your video was very helpful. Thanks and love your channel
Thank you Kimberly for the great video!! I started following you recently and enjoy watching you. You have a wealth of knowledge and have such a lovely way of your delivery of information 💞
I can't thank you enough for sharing so much information. Thanks to your guidance, I have completely changed my skin from super dry and old looking to soft, smooth and younger looking. Still working on the peeling, the fine lines, and the bags under my eyes, but really enjoying this journey. You are such a good teacher.
Thanks for the explanation, very useful. I have some of the products already and has helped me a lot. I would like for you to share the whole AM and PM routine. Which serums, peptides and mosturizers even if they are not from the Ordinary. Thanks
i Just got my first product(niacinamade) from The ordinary...I listen to many you tubers giving this products a bad review and a few others a good one....I am going to try it and see what happens...thanks for the tips....I just found your channel.....blessings.........MINDY
I love the Ordinary products - your tour is really useful. I am in the UK and tend to order in bulk to avoid postage charges, they also to a great sale at least annually so I stock up then too
Hi Kimberly , I came a cross. Your channel few days ago and subscribed. I was so amazed to hear your 63 years. You look really great . You’re looks really motivated me. Loving your videos so much if great information . 💕👍🏻
I love the idea of separate containers for AM & PM and lining them up in order of use. I also struggle with not having my glasses, my current trick is that between the Niacinimide and the Buffet the unreadable letters is a lot shorter on my Buffet so that’s how I tell them apart.
Hi I am New here and I am loving the info i am from Sydney Australia and i love your intro and your work Kimberly i have been using the ordinary for over 2 years now and i use everything you spoke about i liked the squalene oil but its not as good as the Rosehip seed oil for the massaging in my opinion goes a long way i just love it ... For the girls who live in Australia Adore beauty has all the ordinary range at great prices well as good as they will get cause we pay soo much more for skin care products in Australia and make up compared to what you girls pay for it in the US ... i have only great things to say about the Ordinary if used diligently the products work wonders especially after derma rollering and the Red Led Light for 30 min ....
YOU can Buy the AHA BHA PEEL from ASOS or PRETTY LITTLE THING. It ships from the UK as it is not available in Australia. And it is not stocked in Australia. Ditto Alpha Arbutin (my fave)
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Yes The Ordinary website is confusing and I do not want to wait for a consultant (up 2-3weeks) to respond YOU have answered exactly what I would have wanted to ask them....what is best for a 62 yr old for normal skin with wrinkles. I wrote down your recommendations and now I NEED to figure out the routine of which one by order I need to use after washing off my makeup. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Wow, Kimberly- what a great, informative video! I have been teetering on the edge about an Ordinary order and you have me convinced. Had no idea they were at Ulta now. Really enjoying your content- keep it up and can't wait for a fashion video one of these days.
I’m turning 40 and I love The Ordinary! I also enjoy your tips and information, thank you. I’m Canadian and I receive my orders via Canada Post in 3 days. Thanks to you I will be making my first bottle of the Vitamin C serum. Cheers to good skin!
OMG! Thank you so much for being here!!! Im about to turn 47 and at a complete loss, until now! Ive been using Eminence products, which are amazing! However, my pocket book isnt a fan. So excited to try The Ordinary! Do you have a video or blog page that says in what order to use these products? Did I miss something?
I've been using The Ordinary products for 2-3 months (varies with different products). LOVE how my face is looking and feeling :) Don't know that it's ALL The Ordinary tho as I also started using some Tatcha products at the same time (Rice Wash, Water Gel Cream and Night Cream, Rice Polish). In TO line I'm using the Buffet, HA + B5, Caffeine Solution, AHA/BHA, Granactive Retinoid. Niacinimide is on the way. Also use Drunk Elephant's F-Balm. But wait, there's more LOL Missha Essence Intensive Moisture.
There’s one of my favorite women hi Kimberly. Still loving the ordinary thank you for all your research. It made it very easy for me to begin. Without the ordinary I could not afford these products. Deciem Amazing company. Take care darling
All of The Ordinary products are manufactured or bottled in Canada, so that is probably why it take some time to get to you in California. You can also order from Sephora Canada (not sure about the US), also in Canada from well.ca .
I am absolutely blown away that you're 50+ because you look incredibly youthful. I'm 32 and am doing my best to age gracefully so I came across your channel. I can't believe my eyes and still find it hard to believe you're not decades younger.
So happy to find your TH-cam channel. We are the same age .....you look fabulous....I don't know how to dress for my age ....I have eyebags ...luckily, I have always taken care of my skin, so I look young for my age, but I feel old. Thanks for all you do....I am going to watch you religiously from now on
Hello my friend ...enjoyed the video and must say that I have been using these products for the last two months and frankly they are amazing, it is almost too good to be true. God bless this company for allowing women who are not able to spend a ton of money on skin care products to find some thing to take care of their skin and not break the bank. I have recently started using the Buffet with copper and find it remarkable ...the squalene also is one of my faves. I really really enjoyed this video thank you so much for the info. I also live in California and I’m lucky enough to have an Ulta right up the street from me where my last purchases came from. Please continue videos about this remarkable company for those who do not realize that beauty does not have to break the bank ...God bless you stay safe ...your friend Bridget from Orange County😎
Hi Kimberly! I love your channel! Thank you for your research. I'm 54 and have been using different skin care products for years. I love The Ordinary products; The Buffet, AHA BHA peeling solution etc. I have been using them only a few months but have been using Tretinoin for 4 years. I discovered another product from The Ordinary that you might want to try. I love Pycnogenol. Funny name, great results. My skin has changed dramatically since starting that 2 months ago. Thank you for sharing all the info!
Hi Blythe I’m your age as well... would you Tell us exactly what you think Pynogenol has done for your skin? (That is different from the other products’ results)... have u tried their caffeine or niacinamide ?
@@hmh3808 i use pycnogenol as an antioxidant. It hydrates my skin (it it slightly oily, but absorbs quickly) and seems to help with elasticity. I've also used the oral supplement from the health food store which is supposed to help fight free radicals from within. I have used the caffeine as well but I'm not as diligent about using that. I tried the niacinimide but it dries out my skin too much. I've never had acne or oily skin and I think niacinimide is better for that. Hope my response helps!
@@manilabaycondo hi! I start with cleansing with Cerave hydrating facial wash. Next, I use Timeless vitamin C with ferulic acid serum. Then comes The Ordinary Argiriline, The Ordinary Matrixyl, The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid , and then The Ordinary Pycnogenol serums. (This sounds like a lot, but they are all so inexpensive and work wonders if you use them every day consistently). I follow up with Cerave nighttime moisturizer and last Elta MD tinted sunscreen.🤩
I know you said you found those clear containers for your "AM' and "PM" routines at the Dollar Store, but which one specifically? have looked at the Dollar Tree and they didn't have them! I am keeping a list of all of these things and trying to get my orders in and then I will start my routine. Thank you so much for all of your time and research you have done for us gals!!! xoxox Tammy
Do you use all the items you mentioned in the morning and at night? If not, which ones do you use in the morning and which ones do you use at night? Love the information provided!
Hi! Now I have a product for YOU to try. I got a lip balm in my Birchbox. It's PAWPAW tinted peach pink balm. Comes in other colors, around 8 bucks on Amazon. I used it. Moisturizing. Dried to a beautiful pink. Didn't dry out my lips. Worth a try. Take care!
Thank you for this! First off, woman! That head band! So CUTE! Second, yes, this is a very clinical web site, and if you can’t sit still long enough for all the clinical info, it can be intimidating. I appreciate this deep dive! Deciem/The Ordinary really is awesome, but the person on the user end really has to read and dig deep. His vid is awesome! Thanks again!
If you look at regimens at the top left hand corner, you can scroll down and find the regimen for your particular skin type. It gives you what products to use and when. Also, they have a chat site there and you can talk with someone if you have questions. They are very helpful.
You really needed to explain the Guides at the top better. We all have different skin types and the guides help you find the best of the Ordinary products for your skin type. It's the best guide to navigate through to explain their products.
Love the video Yes yes I am at this stage I want to buy but how or what. I am going to be 50 in feb and have never taken care of my face now. My skin is combined at this point I still get pimples ones hard that can not pop and get very dark 🤦🏽♀️ you should do videos with your daughter that would be very nice.
Thank you for another informative video!! I ordered for the first time a couple months ago and love the products, especially the AHA/BHA acid. OMG!! You are right, skin is so soft and I never have little dry areas anymore. How long do you wait before putting on the next product? I have 4 I use nightly plus my eye cream / moisturizer of course, and I wait 60 seconds between each application. What do you recommend? Thank you!!
Kimberly, you are so right...the website is very "busy" and for me...someone that wants quick info...not a good idea in anything...specifically skincare. Recently, I heard that "copper peptides" were the new "it" product. By chance, after I ordered it from Ulta, (You're right, it was easier and quicker to do so there than from Decim.) I stumbled onto this video by "Dr. Anne" a TH-camr and a real doctor. She talked about the difference between the regular Buffet and the one with the Copper Peptides. It all sounded good to me until she got to the point about the possibility of the copper peptides encouraging more facial hair. Although she explained it very well, that was enough for me. I returned the product and bought the regular Buffet. It is worth watching the video from a doctor's point of view. As always, great video and info. I also like visiting your website. Take care, Carol
Have you seen Cassandra Bankson's channel here on TH-cam? She's an esthetician and she knows her stuff. She has a ton of info about the Ordinary products. I'm just now trying to learn about them too. I've bought a bunch of them based on her recommendations.
Thank you!
I find that with the neck, you just need to bring your produts down too. Except maybe for acids and exfoliators. And use SPF of course!
Hi been wondering about odinary thanks looking fab girl ❤

Many regards from Croatia 🇭🇷🤗
That was easily explained, glad I seen it thank you so much. ❤
According to Dr V Rattan, i use the Alph Albutin, followed by Niacinimide, then Retinoid. All these for hyperpigmentation. I might try the SA.
Wow, you are amazing. You have so much info. Thank you.
I absolutely love your hair! Let us know where you got your earrings and headband! I am definitely going to order from The Ordinary the start my serum regime! Thank you so much for your channel and your honesty!
Headbands are from Amazon and earrings from Target -- I'll be sure and include them in my monthly favs video. Thanks for watching!

Angie, how long you have been using and noticed results?
Im so happy to learn about the ordinary. You're lovely
I have been using The Ordinary products for over 2 years and I love them. Unfortunately the AHA BHA Peeling Solution is not available for sale in Canada. I love the Squalane oil and the Buffet the best!
I’m Canadian too! I ordered it from another website. Google it. I love it, it really works.
Christine do u use Sephora in Canada? And apparently can’t get the retinol here either?
Love the ordinary products so thank you for making a bit more clearer. I have bought a few of the products you mentioned but I'm not quite sure how to use it all. So your video was very helpful. Thanks and love your channel

Great tips! I have wanted to try but was nervous about it. I think you have armed me with the information I need to give it a try.
So glad I found you !! I will be binge watching all your videos You look fabulous and I can't wait to share you with all my friends
HELLO .ITS SOFII FROM MELBOURNE . THANK YOU SO MUCH , FOR INFORMATION WHERE WE CAN BUY ORDINARY product in AUSTRALIA.
YOU can Buy the AHA BHA PEEL from ASOS or PRETTY
LITTLE THING. It ships from the UK as it is not available in Australia. And it is not stocked in Australia. Ditto Alpha Arbutin (my fave)
I really enjoy how you explain everything about these skin care items! Thank you again!
THANK YOU!
You are so welcome! Check out my Beginner Skin Care routine videos, you may find them helpful. Thanks for watching!
I am addicted to The Ordinary products.
me too love that toner and hyaluronic acid I try not to go crazy too much of anything is no good my dad always told me that
You look so pretty !
I love the ordinary !
Can’t wait to see your next video !
Thank you, Kimberly. This is very helpful for deciphering the Ordinary! 🤗
I use a lot of Ordinary products. They work so well.
Recently discovered your site. Love it! You have so much great information and wonderful tips.
Thanks for your review. Very informational. I enjoyed it very much.
Love love love!!!
Thank you!!!!
There’s one of my favorite women hi Kimberly. Still loving the ordinary thank you for all your research. It made it very easy for me to begin. Without the ordinary I could not afford these products. Deciem Amazing company. Take care darling
Thank you so much. You are so helpful and sweet.
All of The Ordinary products are manufactured or bottled in Canada, so that is probably why it take some time to get to you in California. You can also order from Sephora Canada (not sure about the US), also in Canada from well.ca .
You are so gorgeous and I enjoy your videos. I am your age and you’ve given me much inspiration. Thank you! ❤️
I am absolutely blown away that you're 50+ because you look incredibly youthful. I'm 32 and am doing my best to age gracefully so I came across your channel. I can't believe my eyes and still find it hard to believe you're not decades younger.
She is actually 63 years old.
So glad I found you!!! Thank you for your great content.
Would really love to know which order to apply the products you recommended.
I'll be doing a skincare layering video soon, thanks for watching!
Me too im very confused.
Love your videos! You are so thorough & detailed!
Love the headband! Thanks for the idea!
So happy to find your TH-cam channel. We are the same age .....you look fabulous....I don't know how to dress for my age ....I have eyebags ...luckily, I have always taken care of my skin, so I look young for my age, but I feel old. Thanks for all you do....I am going to watch you religiously from now on
pretty over fifty gives great info I suggest Dr, Dray she is excellent too..
I love Dr. Dray! Thanks for watching!
I found that Dr. Dray gives out some erroneous information.
@@charkitte so then why dont you give out the right information instead of putting a very smart woman & dr. down......
@@marlenecesarotti8468
Because people like you wouldn't listen, anyway.
I so much appreciate you. Thank you.
Another Cali girl! So happy to connect with you and thanks for watching!
Love. Love. Love your hair! And your skin is glowing.
Thank you so much love your channel. You are so gorgeous.
I used to take pycnogenal as an oral supplement I think for inflammation (?)
May I ask what is your regimen in the morning and in the evening? Thank you very much
@@manilabaycondo hi!
Thank you so much for all of your time and research you have done for us gals!!! xoxox Tammy
I have an AM shelf, and a PM shelf, works just as well.
Do you use all the items you mentioned in the morning and at night? If not, which ones do you use in the morning and which ones do you use at night? Love the information provided!
Kimberly, you are amazing and so lovely. We all thank you so much on your knowledge on the Ordinary products.
"Laredo street dog"...lol. You're the best.
Omg I love your “in order” tip!
i found the ordinary very informative you have to read about the products.
Their niacinamide + zinc broke me out. I now use the PC niacinamide 10% booster...it’s just a lovely product.
Hi Kimberly. First time here. Just subscribed. I'm 58 and I like the content and how you break it down simple.
Very nice explanations. Thanks
Great video! I have purchased about half the products you have listed and my decision was made from watching TH-cam! Thank you so much ~ xo
Also, I understand The Ordinary is in Toronto, hence the long shipping time to California.
Love my products from The Ordinary and love your videos!
A much needed video!!!
Thank you!!
The nights I use the AHA solution, I generally just hydrate and moisturize and call it good!
I love the Ordinary products! Thank you for the information. “ I appreciate you:) “
Awww, thank you and thanks for watching!
🤣🤣🤣🤣l Saw That Too And As Soon As l Heard About The "'Possibility Of More Chin Hair". NO Thanks I Already Have More Than I Need.
Perfect timing for me! I’ve been on the site for several days now and am struggling with what to buy for my first order. Thank you!!
Have you seen Cassandra Bankson's channel here on TH-cam? She's an esthetician and she knows her stuff. She has a ton of info about the Ordinary products. I'm just now trying to learn about them too. I've bought a bunch of them based on her recommendations.
Carrie Flynn thank you! No, I haven’t, but I’m following her now as well. 😊
Dixie Dew thank you
