@@MyHumveeMathilda Great video again...in the future (sooner or later we're all going to catch a stone) I used a spray bottle of dish soap and water ( heavy on the dish soap) and those gaskets slipped right on the glass easy peasy! my truck came without glass, so I had to install the wind shields! What I do is, I enter a car show and use that as the deadline goal post to get certain things ready for that show. That usually gets a fire lit under my butt, so I try and get things ready before that date. Then onto the next thing for the next show. 😄

Thanks! 🙏 Sometimes in the motor pool they use what’s available. I’m guessing they didn’t have smaller bolts, or the original holes were stripped and the original wouldn’t fit, so they used machine screws or slightly larger bolts. Are your fastening holes on the windshield frame stripped? Are the bolts you’re using all the same size?
Hey it was an armor truck and bolts looked like they’re all the same size… I guess I would just try to find the right size. I was just thinking maybe they used another size but thank you.!! I’m in Lincolnton NC
The electric fan is part of the a/c system. It’s the condenser fan. It is 14”. The humvee still has the belt driven fan with the clutch for the cooling stack.
hey I am in nc as well I have a m1114 6.5 turbo and is blowing a lot of black smoke on acceleration was wondering if you knew any mechanics around here that work on humvee's ?

Did you just replace them with regular windshield glass? If not where did you get the replacement glass?
