Do you have a trickle charger? ‘Seems’ is not the same as being full. If there’s zero starter click or even crank I’m willing to bet your battery’s drained. Any movement on the battery gauge? Also check that your HMMWV is not in reverse gear.

@@MyHumveeMathilda There is no clicking sound. It may not be starting. Could the starter motor be burned out?

If the starter is not working or burnt out, it will click. If the starter is working, but the battery is very low it will crank, but not start. if the battery is completely drained or there is another problem then there will probably be no sound at all like you’re experiencing.

About 60-70 rounds so far. Mostly buck/bird/00, I’ve never shot slugs through mine. Did you have to mod anything to shoot slugs?

@@MyHumveeMathilda BTW, I also own the Tokarev Titan semi-auto shotgun and that one also has been very reliable other than with Rio #4 buckshot which it doesn't seem to like for some reason. But Rio buckshot is also junk ammo. I had one of those rounds fall apart spilling all the shot and gunpowder inside my TBP12. Rio #4 buckshot also kicks like a 3" magnum shell. But aside from that ammo, I've shot 170 rounds through that with no issues. But for home defense I like the compact nature of the TBP12 as my house has tight doorways and hallways. Plus I can hold the TBP12 against my shoulder with one hand which allows me to open doors with my support hand while still keeping the shotgun pointed towards danger areas.

You’ll burn out your 12v accessory. Think of it this way. When you connect any accessory, let’s say a 24V accessory to the 24v battery set and then back to the frame, You’re completing a 24V circuit. That’s 24v positive and back to 24V negative if you run a 12V positive from the Orion to a 12V accessory and then complete the circuit to a 24V negative/frame, think of what that does to the circuit. You’re completing a 24V return. Grounding makes sense if the entire machine is a 12V system. But when you have dual volts systems, remember what the Ghostbusters said, do not cross the streams. 😂 do a little extra work, by running a black wire back to the 12V negative on the fusebox just to be safe.

Humvees are big and heavy and I wanted mine to be female like most car owners that name their cars female names, but I wanted her to have an old graceful name from my grandma’s generation. I thought of names like Edna, Angela, Martha, Beatrice, Agatha, Audrey, Evelyn, Mabel, Olive. Then one day on TH-cam I was watching an Australian guy talking about waltzing Matilda (google it). And I said to myself, Mathilda, sort of suits my Humvee. So the name stuck. 😂

@MyHumveeMathilda that's cool dude. Most definitely a SW fan lol...dress up as Vader for 501st. My gameplan is to paint mine up when I get her to use in some of our parades ect.

Humvees, cars, freedom, pews, beautiful women (without dicks), great food and family. What’s not to love 😊

Thank you. 🙏 yes I considered heavier gauge but the truck is slow as is. Keeping weight down just a little. I initially planned on making the roof out of fiberglass, but aluminum won out in convenience. 🙂

They’re called ‘pull throughs’ you get them at any auto parts store. Ask them for Pull through fasteners for radiator fans.

Not yet, but here’s an idea, run a direct line to one of the batteries for the power. Not through the Orion. Make sure your truck is always on a 24v trickle charger.
